mecora stands for the development of high-quality component parts and the production of
small batches in the field of plastic medical engineering. We are a reliable and successful
partner from the idea to the sterile product. Our experience and the combination of our own
technology, development and production render us flexible, quick and cost-effective.
Konstruktion
Design
mecora konstruiert mit modernen 3D-CAD-Systemen die gewünschten Bauteile entsprechend den individuellen Vorstellungen der Kunden. Der sich hieraus ableitende Formenbau findet ebenfalls bei mecora
statt. Dieser wird mit CNC- und CAD-CAM Technologien in der eigenen Werkstatt realisiert. Hieraus
ergeben sich kurze Werkzeugerstellungszeiten.
mecora designs the desired components by means of advanced 3D-CAD systems to individual
customer specifications. The associated mould construction also takes place at mecora. This is carried
out by means of CNC and CAD-CAM technologies in mecora’s own workshop. This results in short
tool making periods.

Synergy of technologies
Die Kombination der drei Herstellungstechniken, Spritzguss, Thermoformen und Tauchen
ermöglicht zusammen mit der Reinraummontage die Fertigung von komplexen Produkten.
So z.B. die Produktion von festen Gehäusen mit flexibler Membran und weicher Kanüle.
The three production techniques injection moulding, thermoforming and dipping offers in
combination with a cleanroom manufacturing a wide range of complex products. For example
the production of stiff housings with flexible membranes and soft cannulas.
Schneller und kostengünstiger Spritzguss
Rapid and inexpensive injection moulding
mecora fertigt sämtliche benötigten Formen und Werkzeuge im eigenen Haus. Dieses geschieht
schnell und kostengünstig. Ebenso werden Spritzgussteile bis ca. 100 g in kleinen und mittleren
Serien produziert.
mecora manufactures all required moulds and tools on its own premises. This takes place
swiftly and cost-effectively. Additionally, injection-moulded parts of up to approx. 100 g are
produced in small and medium-sized batches.
Reinraumfertigung
Cleanroom manufacturing
Die Produktion und Montage medizintechnischer Bauteile erfolgt bei mecora in einem Reinraum der
ISO-Klasse 7* gemäß ISO 14644-1 und ISO 14644-2. Durch regelmäßige Überwachungen von Produktionsumgebung und Produkten stellt mecora seinen Kunden ein Höchstmaß an Produktreinheit und
-qualität sicher.

At mecora, the production and assembly of medical engineering components takes place in a clean
room of the ISO class 7*, according to ISO 14644-1 and ISO 14644-2. mecora guarantees its
customers maximum product purity and product quality by regular monitoring of the production
environment and the products.

Quality assurance
mecora ist seit 1996 als Medizintechnik Produzent zertifiziert nach DIN EN ISO 13485. Die umfangreichen Dokumentationen und Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen werden mehrfach jährlich bei mecora
auditiert. Nur so ist es möglich CE-zertifizierte Medizinprodukte für den europäischen Markt zu produzieren.
Since 1996 mecora has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485 as a medical device manufacturer.
At mecora, the extensive documentations and quality assurance measures are audited several times
annually. This is the only possible way of producing CE-certified medical products for the European
market for so many years.
