Stahlkies ist ein kantiges Stahl-Strahlmittel. Im ersten Schritt wird Stahlschrot (rund) durch Schmelzen von Stahlschrott im
Induktionsofen und Verdüsen (Atomisation) mittels Wasserstrahl hergestellt. Im zweiten Schritt erfolgt das Brechen des runden
Korns. Im dritten Schritt schließt sich eine gezielte Wärmebehandlung an, um die geforderten Härtewerte in 3 Klassen zu erzielen.
Steel grit is an angular steel abrasive medium. At the first step steel shot (round) is produced by melting of steel scrap in an
induction furnace and atomizing by means of water jet. At the second step shot is crushed. At the third step a targeted thermal
treatment is following to achieve desired hardness in 3 different grades.
