Hardness Range: 74 - 81 IRHD
Trelleborg Dowty Malta material reference 3070 is an internally lubricated Ethylene-Propylene (EPDM)
based compound designed to give excellent service in brake fluid application including A.B.S. systems.
3070 should not be used in contact with mineral based oils, lubricants or hydrocarbon fluids.
3070 is approved to Continental Teves specification ATE N543.11.02 and VW specification TL 522 11.
Compound Key Properties include:

Compatibility to glycol type of brake fluids.
Positive swell in Brake fluid.
Low compression set and good heat resistance.
Good resistance to ozone and weathering.
Good low temperature flexibility.
Resistance to hot water and steam.
Resistance to many non-mineral fluids.
Projected service temperature range of -50 to +140°C which is dependant upon the
medium to be sealed and conditions of service.
Possible Applications:
- Brake Systems.
- A. B. S. Brake Systems.
