In der Februar-Ausgabe 2002 der amerikanischen stereophile ist ein ausführlicher Bericht über SSC
(Evolution) erschienen.

SSC has a series of accessories. Probably the most important of these is an SSC base, designed to support electronics
or loudspeakers.
The SSC platforms effected very audible differences that were entirely beneficial. The effect is like going from a transistor
amp with old-style crossover distortion to a modern class-A design, or from a push-pull pentode tube amp to a singleended triode, a feeling of relexation and of reduced distortion, a greater sense of body to instrumental images, and a
wider variety of tonal colors.
The exact shape, the exact amount of pre-tensioning and a number of other details have all been the subjects of
considerable design attention.
The new platforms will cost about $270 each-considering the sonic benefits, an excellent value.
SSC has established distribution in a number of countries besides Germany, but is still looking for distributers worldwide.
