Quitter le gîte et rejoindre le centre du village
de Metzeral par le chemin et la route balisés
rouge-blanc-rouge.

Suivre ce chemin jusqu’au point 1 163 situé au
parking du Petit Ballon.

Du Col du Boenlesgrab, suivre le chemin balisé
GR 532 jusqu’au Col de Firstplan. (Quitter juste
ce balisage sur 1 km pour contourner
le Muhlkopf par le nord).

Du Col de Firstplan rejoindre la borne jaune par
le chemin non balisé qui passe sous le GR 532.
De la borne Jaune, continuer vers le Nord-Est en
suivant le GR 532 balisé rectangle jaune jusqu’au
point 749, puis jusqu’au col de Marbach.
Suivre le rond rouge jusqu’à l’abri de la
Stauffenmatt, puis reprendre le rectangle
jaune du GR 532 jusqu’au parking. De
là, partir vers l’ouest par le point rouge
jusqu’au point 600 et prendre le chemin
balisé rond rouge qui arrive à la maison
Forestière d’Aspach. Prendre à droite la piste
cyclable qui rejoint Saint Gilles en longeant
les rails en direction de Turckheim.

weiter im Norden).

Vom Parkplatz aus den breiten Weg
einschlagen, der teilweise mit einem roten
Ring markiert ist, um zum Pass Col de
Boenlesgrab zu gelangen. Verpflegung
erhältlich im Landgasthof in Strohberg oder in
Boenlesgrab.
Vom Col du Boenlesgrab aus, den mit GR 532
markierten Weg entlang reiten bis zum Col
de Firstplan. (Diese Markierung nach 1 km
hinter sich lassen, um im Norden Muhlkopf zu
umgehen).
Vom Col de Firstplan aus, über den nicht
19 km markierten Weg, der unterhalb der GR 532
verläuft, zur gelben Säule reiten. Von dem
gelben Grenzstein, in Richtung Nord-Ost dem
GR 532 (gelbes Rechteck) bis zum Punkt 749
folgen und dann weiter bis zum Marbach-Pass.
Danach dem roten Ring bis zum Bunker
26 km der Stauffenmatt, und wieder dem gelben
Rechteck bis zum Parkplatz folgen. Von da
aus nach Westen gehen (roter Punkt) bis zum
Punkt 600 und den Weg mit der Markierung
„roter Ring , der zum Försterhaus von Aspach
führt. Dann rechts den Radweg nehmen, der
am Bahngleis Richtung Turckheim entlang
nach Saint Gilles kommt.
Leave the holiday rentals and go to the centre
of the village of Metzeral via the path and the
road with red-white-red markers.
Turn left onto the path after the train station
(on the map, before "Arrêt") in the direction of
Muhlbach-sur-Munster. Pass two quarries, then
the hamlet of Sendenbach, and points 507, 553
and 618 to head up towards Ilienkopf. Do not
go up to the summit, stay on the path marked
with red diamonds that veers left.
Follow this path up to point 1 163 located in
the parking lot of the Petit Ballon.

Den Weg links einschlagen, der nach dem
Bahnhof (auf der Karte vor „Arrêt“) in Richtung
Muhlbach-sur-Munster abzweigt. An den
beiden Steinbrüchen vorbei, dann über den
Flurnamen Sendenbach und weiter bis zu den
Punkten 507, 553 und 618, und hinauf nach
Ilienkopf. Nicht bis zum Gipfel hinauf reiten, auf
dem links verlaufenden Weg bleiben, der mit
einem roten Pferd markiert ist.
Prendre à gauche le chemin qui part après la
gare (sur la carte avant «Arrêt») en direction de
Muhlbach-sur-Munster. Passer devant les deux
carrières, puis passer au lieu-dit Sendenbach
et aux points 507, 553 et 618 pour monter vers
l’Ilienkopf. Ne pas monter sur le sommet, rester
sur le chemin balisé chevalet rouge qui passe
à gauche.
Du parking, emprunter le grand chemin
balisé en partie disque rouge pour
rejoindre le Col de Boenlesgrab. Possibilité
de restauration à la Ferme Auberge du
Strohberg ou à l’Auberge du Boenlesgrab.

partly marked with red circles, to reach
the Col de Boenlesgrab. Possibility of
dining at the Ferme Auberge du Strohberg
or at the Auberge du Boenlesgrab.
From the Col du Boenlesgrab, follow the
marked path GR 532 to the Col de Firstplan.
(Leave this marked path after 1 km to go
around the Muhlkopf to the north)

From the Col de Firstplan go to the yellow
km milepost by the unmarked path that passes
under the GR 532.From the yellow milestone
on, head due north-east by following the
GR532 waymarked with a yellow rectangle
until you get to the dot marked 749, then carry
on to the Marbach pass (col de Marbach).

Follow the red disc until the Stauffenmatt
26 km shelter, then follow the yellow rectangle of the
GR 532 again until the car park. From there
on, you head due west from the red dot to the
dot marked 600 and take the track waymarked
with a red disc that leads you to the Aspach
Forest House. Take the cycle track on your right,
it will meet up with Saint Gilles by following
the railway tracks towards Turckheim.
