Requirements:
Including but not limited to: Marketing and sales, tourism, geography, history, PR, communications, biology, product
development, creative writing, finance.<
Intern must provide exceptional customer service and people skills as well as professionalism. Outstanding writing
and verbal skills are extremely important.
Internship Tasks
- Intern will learn specifics of application of sustainable travel principles in the US travel market and will use the
knowledge he/she acquired through his/her university studies in a variety of fields.
- Preparation, execution, and evaluation of ecological, historical, cultural and wilderness tours throughout South
Florida
- Research of historical and/or ecological archives and resources for script development and guide training
- Maintenance of equipment
- Development of strategies for marketing trips, educational programs, and special events
- Building relationships with non-for-profit partners
Internship Dates: at least 3 months, internship start: year around
Compensation: Depending on duration and qualification
