Instructions for the installation and measurement of Venetian Blinds
Die Breite und die Höhe der Lichtöffnung im Fensterflügel werden wie folgt gemessen: B (Breite) der Lichtöffnung. Die Glasbreite wird ca. bis zur Hälfte der
Gummidichtung gemessen. Gemessen wird an mehreren Punkten, und das kleinste gemessene Maß wird angegeben. H (Höhe) der Lichtöffnung. Die Glashöhe wird
gemessen. T (Tiefe) der Stirn des Kunststoff- bzw. Eurorahmens vom Glas. | 20 und mehr mm • keine Unterlage | 16 – 20 mm • eine Unterlage auf jeder Seite

The width and the height of the opening in the window casement are measured as follows: w (width) of the window opening. Measure the width of the glass to
approx. the middle of the rubber seal. Measure repeatedly at multiple points, and state the smallest measured dimension. h (height) of the window opening. Measure

Die Jalousie durch den Zug auf einer Kettenseite herunterziehen.
Dann mit Bleistift die Bohrlöcher für die Spannstifte markieren. Die
Nylon-Fäden durch jede Lamelle fädeln.
Lower the blind by pulling one side of the chain and use a pencil to
mark the points for the holes for the tightening pins. The tightening
nylon lines run through the centre of the slat openings.

Die Nylon-Fäden durch Nachziehen mit einer Zange in den seitlichen
Endstücken spannen. Den überflüssigen Nylon-Faden abschneiden
oder einrollen und auf jeder Seite mit einer Kappe abdecken.
Tighten the nylon lines by pulling them using pincers in the side
plastic end brackets. Cut off the excess line or coil and cover it on
each side with a plastic cap.
Die Jalousie so anlegen, dass das obere Jalousienprofil (Hinterteil)
an der oberen Glasleiste des Fensterrahmens aufliegt.
Fit the rear part of the upper profile of the blind to the upper glazing
bar of the frame.
In Abhängigkeit von der Tiefe und Form der Verglasungsleiste die
Kunststoffenden der Jalousie eventuell mit Auflagestücken unterlegen.
Depending on the depth and shape of the glazing bar, insert spacers
under the plastic end brackets as necessary.
Die Jalousien werden an den Fensterrahmen in die vorgepressten
Öffnungen der Kunststoff-Endstücke des oberen Profils
angeschraubt. Bei Kunststofffenstern in die Glasleiste, damit der
Fensterflügel nicht beschädigt wird. Blechschrauben 3,9 × 22 mm
verwenden.
Screw the blind to the window frame using the pre-drilled holes in
the plastic end brackets of the upper profile. In the case of plastic
windows, use the glazing bar to prevent damage to the casement.
Use 3.9 × 22 mm self-tapping screws.
Die Löcher mit Bohrer Ø 3,2 mm von oben senkrecht in die Glasleiste
bohren. (Bei den Eurofenstern aus Holz einen Bohrer Ø 3,1 mm
nehmen). In das Loch den Knoten des Nylon-Fadens einlegen und
den Stift eindrücken.
Perpendicular holes are drilled from the top into the glazing bars
using a drill bit with a diameter of 3.2 mm (for wooden Euro windows
use a drill bit with a diameter of 3.1 mm). Put the knot of the nylon
line into the hole and push the tightening pin in.
Den Kettenhalter mit Blechschrauben 3,5 × 16 mm anschrauben
(wieder nur in die Glasleiste) und mit einer Kappe abdecken.
Attach the chain holder using 3.5 × 16 mm self-tapping screws
(again, only to the glass bar) and cover it with a cap.
Überprüfen, ob die Jalousien funktionieren.
Check to ensure that the blind functions properly.
