Foreword / Vorwort
In combination with lean management time and process management are the
topics which profoundly occupy the manufacturing industry at present. In this area
cost and rationalisation potentials can be achieved to an extent which can barely
be reached through other methods.
The seminars presented here have been developed especially for staff coming
from work preparation and production. We will also gladly assist you in these
topics with specific in-house training offers, coaching or consulting measures.
Zeit- und Prozessmanagement in Kombination mit lean management sind

Determination of Standard Times
When work preparation or costing meets new challenges every day and makes it impossible
to implement regular time studies, standard times offer an optimal solution. The approach is as
follows: based on executed time studies you use mathematical-statistical methods to determine
standard times formulas as well as calculation tables. The application of these standard times
formulas allows you to even calculate the costs of new products and work processes reliably and
rapidly.

Guided tour on site
In shop floor management, production is consistently put into the centre of operating activities.
Special emphasis is placed on the managers’ regular presence on site (of the production). This is
where value adding takes place and this is where the manager’s presence is required. This also
means: management starts at the level of foremen and does by far not end at the production
manager. Key numbers, disturbances and problems are immediately visualised on shop floor management tables and counter-measures are directly taken. The manager thus becomes a service
provider for his staff.

Im Shopfloor Management rückt die Produktion konsequent in den Fokus der betrieblichen
