This is great news! Rise against complete the line up of the Telekom Playgrounds in Hamburg. Next
to NOFX and US-alternative rockers Yellowcard, they will guarantee one great night of rock! The
rider’s line up looks promising as well, so everything is in place for another fantastic show. Ticket
are on sale now and available at www.telekom-playgrounds.de
The festival line up for the Hamburg show is complete and we all can look forward to a powerful package
containing Rise Against, NOFX and Yellowcard.
Founded 1999 in Chicago, hardcore band Rise Against changed their musical style a bit and became a
little more melodic. This doesn´t mean they got soft, though. No, sir! Their still kick some serious ass with
very explicit lyrics. Their new album “Endgame” came out on March 11th and went straight at #1 in the
German album charts. The following tour was sold out and now they are returning to the Telekom
Playgrounds marking another highlight in this year´s anniversary tour. Let´s hope they still have that good
connection to the weather gods, ´cause last time they played the Playgrounds in 2009 the weather was
awesome!
At the same time, we can confirm Yellowcard. Coming from Florida, the band has been in the music biz
since 1997 and plays a mixture of punk, rock and pop. Especially the use of violin makes their sound
unmistakable. They can look back at 11 albums with a US Top 5 position for „Lights and Sounds“ as their
career highlight so far.
