für Montag zum Thema geplante Gesprächsrunde mit Vertretern aller Parteien
gehen, hieß es aus ihrem Ressort. Über konkrete Änderungen wollte man keine
Auskunft geben.
Für SP-Justizsprecher Hannes Jarolim steht bereits fest, was geändert
werden soll: Berufsgruppen, die Verschwiegenheitsrechte genießen – etwa
Journalisten, Ärzte und Rechtsanwälte –, sollen weiterhin auch als

Mitte Februar in Bratislava. Landesverrat - Hochverrat - skandieren
zehntausende Menschen in der Altstadt. Es ist die größte
Protestveranstaltung seit der Revolution von 1989. Viele Demonstranten
tragen Affenmasken - über den Zaun des Präsidentenpalastes fliegen Bananen.

Wien/Bratislava - Die in der Slowakei aufgekommene Abhöraffäre Gorilla
führt zu Ermittlungen der österreichischen Finanzmarktaufsicht (FMA) gegen
die Meinl Bank. Die FMA ermittle, ob die Bank alle präventiven Bestimmungen
im Kampf gegen Geldwäsche eingehalten habe, bestätigte FMA-Sprecher Klaus
Grubelnik am Freitag einen Artikel der "Wiener Zeitung" und der
slowakischen Zeitung "Sme" . Laut der Zeitung untersuchen die slowakischen
Behörden seit Jänner die Causa Gorilla. Die Meinl Bank wies am Freitag
erneut Vorwürfe auf Schärfste zurück, "in irgendeiner Form mit Korruption,
Geldwäsche oder anderen ungesetzlichen Tätigkeiten" zu tun zu haben.

inhaftierte kubanische Ex-Agent Ernesto Borges Perez hat nach einem Besuch

von Kardinal Jaime Ortega y Alamino seinen Hungerstreik nach 25 Tagen
beendet. Das bestätigte der Vater des Regimekritikers am Donnerstag
(Ortszeit) dem in Miami beheimateten kubakritischen Radio-Sender Marti.
Kardinal Ortega habe bei seinem Besuch vor einigen Tagen Borges gebeten,
seine Aktion abzubrechen, um seine Gesundheit nicht weiter zu gefährden.
Zudem habe der Erzbischof von Havanna in Aussicht gestellt, sich im Zuge
des anstehenden Besuches von Papst Benedikt XVI. auf Kuba für eine baldige
Freilassung von Borges einzusetzen.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------(nation) Al-Qaida has confirmed the death of one of its commander in
Pakistan, Badr Mansoor, saying he was killed in an American drone strike
last month.
The U.S.-based SITE monitoring service said on Friday that the confirmation
came in a video statement released on an Internet forum.
The video says Badr Mansoor was killed on Feb. 9 close to the Afghan
border. He was alleged to have run a training camp for militants blamed for
attacks in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

as director-general of Inter-Services Intelligence.
Yusuf Raza Gilani, the Pakistani prime minister, has appointed a new
director-general of the country's powerful spy agency, his office said in a
statement.
"The prime minister has appointed Lieutenant-General Zaheer-ul-Islam as the
new DG-ISI," the statement released on Friday said, referring to the
Directorate of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Islam is the commander of the V Corps, one of the most important in the
army and based in Karachi, Pakistan's largest city and its commercial hub.

der chemischen und biologischen Waffenarsenale in Syrien. Erwogen wird nach
Angaben von Regierungsvertretern aus Amerika und dem Nahen Osten, dass
jordanische Spezialeinheiten im Zuge einer Friedensmission der Arabischen
Liga in Syrien die Kontrolle über ein knappes Dutzend Stützpunkte
übernehmen, wo diese Waffen vermutet werden.
Dabei handelt es sich unter anderem um Nervengifte und Senfgas. Weil die
Lage in Syrien immer instabiler wird, betrachtet die internationale
Gemeinschaft die Waffenarsenale zunehmend mit Sorge.

Nachrichtenagentur Anadolu zufolge gelangten heute etwa ein Dutzend
ranghohe desertierte Armeevertreter in die Türkei, darunter vier Generäle.
Dort haben sie nichts zu befürchten. Denn die Türkei hat allen Flüchtlingen

of U.S. nationals living outside the United States who have taken up arms
against the United States.
Holder said, "some have called such operations 'assassinations'" and
continued: "They are not. Assassinations are unlawful killings."

Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz outlined the service's modernization
efforts during testimony to the House Appropriations Committee's
Subcommittee on Defense here March 6.
"Modernization is our most significant concern, especially as our fleets
age and new technologies drive new investment needs," Donley said.
Protecting modernization priorities, including the Long Range Strike
bomber, the KC-46A refueling tanker, and key space and intelligence,
surveillance and reconnaissance programs, is vital to the future force,
Donley said.

conditions on the use of defense articles and defense services transferred

Service explains. “Violation of these conditions can lead to the suspension

describes the diverse forms of legal support to military operations.
“Legal issues are a fundamental part of modern military operations,” the
manual observes. “Assigning JAGC [Judge Advocate General's Corps] Soldiers
directly to warfighting units has become commonplace.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------(DOD) Defense cooperation between the U.S. and Israel is already close, and
it will get closer as both countries face the threats of the future,
Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta said today.
Panetta spoke to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee here and said
the United States and Israel will work closely together in the face of the
dangers that confront both countries.
“The security bonds between Israel and the United States will only grow as

presidential elections that secured Vladimir Putin a third term in the
Kremlin.
While observers from former Soviet states hailed the vote as “transparent”
and “fair,” their colleagues from the Organization for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council
of Europe (PACE) pointed to mass procedural violations and a clear bias in
favor of Putin.

But the Communist show was only a warm-up for a broader grassroots protest,
which kicked off in the same place at 7 p.m. its participants insisting the
Sunday vote was unfair and demanded a repeat presidential vote.

ranghohen Personen zuständige russische Geheimdienst FSO hat vor nicht
genehmigten Aktionen auf dem Roten Platz und auf dem Gelände des Kreml
gewarnt.
Derartige Aktionen seien gesetzwidrig und daher unzulässig, sagte FSOSprecher Sergej Dewjatow am Freitag RIA Novosti. Er erinnerte daran, dass
im Internet Massenveranstaltungen auf dem Gelände des Kreml und auf dem
Roten Platz angekündigt worden waren. "Jegliche Versuche, derartige

Staatsanwaltschaft Innsbruck ermittelte nach einer Anzeige des
Justizministeriums, da Ex-OGH Präsident Johann Rzeszut mehreren
Staatsanwälten Amtsmissbrauch und Untätigkeit vorgeworfen hatte.
Die zuständige Innsbrucker Staatsanwältin Gabriele Ginther-Schöll rechnet
mit den Vorwürfen der ehemaligen Höchstgerichtspräsidenten Johann Rzeszut
und Ludwig Adamovich erstaunlich hart ab. Ex-OGH Präsident Rzeszut, so der
Vorhabensbericht verbreite nur noch "Verschwörungen", die in den Akten
überhaupt keine Deckung fänden.
"Bei Natascha Kampusch handelt es sich augenscheinlich in den Augen des Dr.
Rzeszut nicht um ein maßstabsgerechtes Opfer, weil sie vom Täter nicht
gänzlich zerstört wurde, sondern sich der Situation angepasst hat und sich
nach außen hin stark gibt. Die Frage ist nur, ob das den Vorstellungen des

mehrere Stunden nicht mehr erreichbar. Die Hintergründe sind unklar. Es
kommt immer wieder zu Ausfällen weltweit. Gerüchte über Hackerangriff im
Internet. Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass Facebook down ist.
Heute morgen war Facebook schon wieder nicht erreichbar. Es gab auch keine
Fehlermeldungen - die Seite konnte schlicht und ergfreifend nicht
aufgerufen werden. Der Browser zeigt eine Fehlermeldung, dass der Server
nicht erreichbar sei. Folge: Millionen User können nicht mehr posten. Über
die Hintergründe für den Ausfall wird derzeit spekuliert. Nur ab und zu ist
das Netzwerk erreichbar - immer wieder kommt es zu Störungen - nicht nur in
Europa sondern auch auf der .com Domain. In der Vergangenheit gab es
mehrmals Ankündigungen aus der Hackerszene, dass man das Portal
niederzwingen und angreifen werde. Ob Hackerangriffe für den Ausfall von
Facebook verantwortlich sind, konnte bisher aber nicht bestätigt werden.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------(gulli) Das FBI bestätigt die Verhaftung von fünf ehemaligen Mitgliedern
der Hackergruppe „Lulzsec“. Offenbar wurden die Personen vom Leiter des
Verbundes, „Sabu“, an den Geheimdienst verraten. Dieser hatte scheinbar
schon seit Monaten mit der Behörde zusammengearbeitet und die Identität
seiner Mitstreiter preisgegeben.
Lulzsec trieb Mitte 2011 als Hackergruppe ihr Unwesen und machte unter
anderem mit Attacken auf die Server von Sony, Sega, Nintendo und der CIA
auf sich aufmerksam und verursachte laut Angaben der Opfer
Millionenschäden. Nach nur 50 Tagen löste sich der Verbund jedoch auf.
Mittlerweile stellte sich heraus, dass „Sabu“, der Leiter der Gruppe, der
28-jährige US-Amerikaner „Hector Xavier Monsegur“ war. Nach Angaben des FBI
wurde seine Identität bereits im Juni aufgedeckt, woraufhin er am 15.
August 2011 ein Geständnis abgelegt habe. Durch diese Aussagen waren die
heute durchgeführten Verhaftungen der weiteren fünf leitenden LulzsecMitglieder möglich. Aus diesem Grund wurde seine ursprüngliche Verhaftung
zunächst geheim gehalten.

Geheimdienste. Das Militär spiele dabei offiziell kaum eine Rolle, erklärt
Keir Giles, Direktor des britischen Forschungszentrums für Konfliktstudien
(Conflict Studies Research Centre), im dapd-Interview. Die Wiederwahl des

Ex-KGB-Offiziers Wladimir Putin zum Präsidenten werde zu keiner Änderung
dieser Doktrin führen.
Alle Planungen zur Schaffung eigener Truppen des Militärs für den
Informationskrieg seien „offiziell eingestellt“. Stattdessen bediene sich
der Geheimdienst sogenannter Hacktivisten. Die Hackergeruppen würden „als
Werkzeug genutzt um Internet-Attacken durchzuführen, etwa auf
Oppositionelle oder vermeintliche Gegner im In- und Ausland“.

Bundesstaatsanwaltschaft von Manhattan hat am Dienstag Anklage gegen fünf
mutmaßliche Mitglieder der Gruppen Anonymous, LulzSec und AntiSec erhoben.
Darunter seien führende Köpfe der Hackerbewegung, erklärten die Ermittler.
Ein sechster Mann habe sich bereits schuldig bekannt.
Die Angeklagten stammen aus den USA, Großbritannien und Irland. Die Polizei
in Irland bestätige, dass ein junger Mann in Dublin festgenommen worden
sei. Er stehe im Verdacht, Verbindungen zu einer internationalen ComputerHacker-Gruppe zu haben.

Spionageromanen - oder Konsument entsprechender Filme - oft als mysterlöse
und äußerst mächtige Organisationen vor, die im Hintergrund die Fäden
ziehen und bei denen kaum jemand weiß, was genau sie eigentlich tun.
Vielleicht war genau dies der Eindruck, dem der Bundesnachrichtendienst
(BND) mit seinem CeBIT-Stand entgegen wirken wollte.
Auf einer Technologie-Messe wie der CeBIT rechnen Besucher vor allem mit
Anbietern von Hard- und Software, Mobilgeräten und anderen technischen
Produkten. Auch, dass viele Behörden - seien es Behörden anderer Staaten,
der deutschen Bundesregierung oder der Bundesländer - vertreten waren,
überraschte nicht, spielt doch Themen wie eGovernment dieses Jahr eine
maßgebliche Rolle auf der CeBIT. Das Motto "Managing Trust" bietet sich für
derartige Aussteller und Themen an, ist doch das Vertrauen der Bevölkerung
häufig eines der Dinge, um die sich Regierungen besonders bemühen.
