Open House is on 15 August. The ES Division begins at 08:00 in the Canteen.
On Monday, 10 August, parents need to encourage student independence by releasing
students in the Canteen. Your child is fully capable of walking from the canteen to his or
her classroom.
Students in grades 3-5 who are tardy will have a time out during the recess period on
the same day. Please plan on releasing children to classrooms no later than 07:40 from
the Canteen.
The lunch recess period has been extended by 20 minutes to better meet the nutritional
and play needs of our students.
Please contact the ES assistant ([email protected] and [email protected])
before 10:45 if you need to have your child released from class after 11:00. Students are
to be in classrooms and ready to learn at 07:45.
Teachers are very busy establishing the learning environment at the beginning of the
day. Their full attention needs to be on the children. Parent conferences need to be
scheduled before children arrive or after children depart at the end of the day. Please
schedule with the ES assistant for conferences prior to 07:30 and after 14:45.
Parents are welcome to enjoy the canteen area starting at 07:20. We ask all parents to
leave the campus at 08:15.
Classrooms dismiss students at 14:30. Parents need to wait in the Canteen to meet
children.
We practice emergency drills regularly during the school year for your child’s safety. On
Tuesday, 18.08.15, we will have our first evacuation drill. Some drills will be
unannounced.

O Open House do Elementary School acontece no dia 15 de agosto às 08:00 na cantina.
A partir de segunda-feira, 10 de agosto, pais devem encorajar a independência do aluno
deixando as crianças na cantina. Seu filho é totalmente capaz de andar da cantina até a
sala de aula.
Alunos das series 3-5 que se atrasarem, terão um tempo xxx (time out) durante o
recreio do mesmo dia. Pedimos que se planejem em liberar as crianças para a sala de
aula não mais tarde que 07:40.
O período do almoço foi extendido em 20 minutos to para melhor acomodar as
necessidades nutricionais e recreativas de nossos alunos.
Por favor, contate a assistente do Elementary School ([email protected] e
[email protected]) antes das 10:45 se precisarem que seu filho seja liberado
depois das 11:00. Os alunos devem estar nas salas de aula e prontos para aprender às
07:45.




