IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read Instructions - Read all the safety and operating
instructions before connecting and operating your TV tuner to
help ensure your own personal safety and to protect your
product from potential damage.
• Retain Instructions - Retain all the safety and operating
instructions for future reference.
• Heed Warnings - Adhere to all warnings on the product and
the operating instructions.
• Grounding - For continued protection against risk of electric
shock and fire, this accessory should be installed/connected
only to the products, such as a computer, equipped with a
three-wire grounding plug, a plug having a third (grounding)
pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding-type power outlet.
This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug
into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace the obsolete
outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type
plug.
• Lightning - For added protection and to prevent damage due
to lightning and power-line surges, unplug the host system,
such as a computer, from the wall power outlet and
disconnect the antenna or cable system. Unplug the host
system from the wall power outlet when left unattended or
unused for long periods of time.
• Never insert anything metallic into the TV tuner openings.
Doing so may create the danger of electric shock.
• Openings in the TV tuner cabinet are provided for ventilation.
To prevent overheating, these openings should not be
blocked or covered. Avoid using the TV tuner on a bed, sofa,
rug, or other soft surface, as doing so may block the
ventilation openings in the cabinet. If you place the TV tuner
in a bookcase or an enclosed space, be sure to provide
adequate ventilation and air flow.
• Power Lines - An outside antenna system should not be
located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other light or
power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or
circuits.
• Antenna Installation - When installing an outside antenna
system, extreme care should be taken to prevent it from
touching such power lines or circuits, as contact with them
may be fatal.
• Outdoor Antenna Grounding - If an outside antenna is
connected to the product, ensure that the antenna system is
grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage
surges and built up static charges. Article 810.21 of the
•
National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA No.70, provides
information with regard to proper grounding of the mast and
supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to the
antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location
of antenna-discharge unit, connection of grounding
electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode.
Caution for users/installers in Norway - In Norway, there
exists a possibility of a hazardous situation due to voltage
difference between the screen of the coaxial cable of the
cable distribution system and the local equipment earth
(typically, earthed chassis of the computer). To avoid any
hazards, antenna/cable input connection from the TV tuner
card to a Cable Distribution System must be provided through
a galvanic isolator (not included).
Note: (for CATV system installer) This reminder is provided to call the
CATV systems installer's attention to Section 820.93 of the National
Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70:2005 (for US/Canada) and/or EN6072811:2005 standard (for Europe), which provide guidelines for proper
grounding and, in particular, specify that the coaxial cable shield shall be
connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point
of cable entry as practical.

We suggest referring to the user manual that came with
your notebook first on how to remove the ExpressCard from
the slot. If the ExpressCard can not be removed, kindly
contact your NB dealer.

Installing Drivers and the TV Software Utility
After the device is installed properly, turn on the computer. The system will automatically detect
the new device. Simply skip the wizard, and insert the accompanying installation CD to install
the driver and TV software utility simultaneously.
Installing Drivers and the Application in Windows XP / Windows XP
Media Center Edition
To install the driver and application, Windows XP MCE users need to exit and switch to
Windows mode if they are in Media Center Edition mode.
1. The “Found New Hardware Wizard” dialog box will appear. Just click Cancel to skip the
Wizard installation procedures.
2. Place the installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.
3. When the installation main screen appears, choose Install AVerTV.
4. Click Next to continue the installation process.
5. Read the license agreement and if you agree to the terms, select “I accept the terms of the
license agreement” and then click Next.

NOTE:
1. If DirectX 9.0c or above is not installed in your system, usually the installation CD will
automatically install it during the process of installation. Make sure your system has DirectX 9.0c
or above installed so that the TV software utility can function properly.
2. If your system is not equipped with Acrobat Reader, the installation wizard will automatically be
called up during the process of installation.

--Windows Vista™ / Windows Vista™ Media Center Edition-1. To remove the installed TV software utility from the system, simply choose Start Æ All
Programs Æ AVerMedia Æ AVerTV 6 Æ Uninstaller.

3. Select Remove All Æ NextÆ OK Æ Finish.
Remote Control (Optional)
After installing drivers and applications, you can use a remote control to turn on/off the
programs, select channels, adjust volume and so on.
NOTE:
AVerQuick launcher is important for the remote control. If it is not activated, the remote control
feature is automatically disabled. For details, please refer to the User Manual on the installation CD.

Installieren von Treibern und dem TV-Anwenderprogramm
Sobald Sie die Karte korrekt eingebaut haben, können Sie ihren Computer einschalten. Das System
wird beim ersten Hochfahren automatisch das neu installierte Gerät finden. Überspringen Sie den
Installationsassistenten und legen die beiliegende Installations-CD ein, um gleichzeitig Treiber und

Paso 2 : Cómo hacer la conexión
Instalando los drivers y el programa de utilidades de TV
Después de la correcta instalación de la tarjeta, encienda su PC. El sistema detectará
automáticamente el nuevo dispositivo. Simplemente cancele el asistente e inserte el CD de
instalación para instalar el controlador y el programa de utilidades de TV al mismo tiempo.

Stuurprogramma’s en televisiesoftware installeren
Nadat de kaart gemonteerd is, zet u de computer weer aan. Het systeem zal een nieuw apparaat
detecteren. Sla de wizard over en leg de meegeleverde installatie-cd in de computer om tegelijk
het stuurprogramma en de televisiesoftware te installeren.

Om de driver en software te installeren, Windows XP MCE gebruikers moeten naar
Windows modus heen gaan en overschakelen indien zij in Mediacenter modus zijn.
1. Het dialoogvenster “Wizard Nieuw hardware gevonden” verschijnt. Klik op Cancel
(Annuleren) om de installatieprocedures van de wizard over te slaan.
2. Plaats de installatie-CD in het CD-ROM station.

Az illesztőprogramok és a TV segédprogram telepítése
Ha a kártyát beszerelte, kapcsolja be a számítógépet. A rendszer automatikusan felismeri az új
eszközt. Egyszerűen lépjen ki a varázslóból, helyezze be a mellékelt CD-t a meghajtóba, és
telepítse a meghajtó szoftvert és a tévé segédprogramot.
Az eszközmeghajtók és az alkalmazás telepítése a Windows XP alatt /
A meghajtóprogram és segédprogramok telepítéséhez, a Windows XP MCE
felhasználóknak, ha Media Center Edition módban vannak, abból ki kell lépniük és
átváltani Windows módba.

1. Ha DirectX 9.0c vagy újabb verzió nincs telepítve, a telepítő CD általában automatikusan

Instalace ovladačů a aplikace
Po řádné instalaci karty zapněte počítač. Systém automaticky nové zařízení detekuje. Jednoduše
přeskočte průvodce a nainstalujte ovladač a televizní software vložením dodaného instalačního
disku CD.
Instalace ovladačů a aplikace v operačním systému Windows XP /
Pro instalaci ovladačů a aplikace uživatelů Windows XP MCE je třeba opustit a přepnout
do režimu Windows, pokud jsou v režimu Media Center Edition.
1. Zobrazí se dialogové okno „Nalezen nový hardware“. Klepnutím na Storno přeskočíte
postup instalace.
2. Vložte instalační CD do CD-ROM mechaniky.
3. Po zobrazení hlavní instalační obrazovky zvolte Install AVerTV (Instalovat AVerTV).
4. Klepnutím na tlačítko Next (Další) pokračujte v instalaci.
5. Přečtěte si licenční smlouvu a pokud souhlasíte s jejími podmínkami, vyberte možnost „I
accept the terms of the license agreement“ (S podmínkami licenční smlouvy souhlasím) a
potom klepněte na tlačítko Next (Další).
6. Volbou možnosti Complete (Úplná) bude nainstalován veškerý nezbytný software, včetně

Kvôli nainštalovaniu ovládača a aplikácie je potrebné, aby užívatelia Windows XP MCE
v prípade, ak sa nachádzajú v režime Media Center Edition tento režim opustili a prepli
na režim Windows.
1. Na obrazovke sa objaví okno “Found New Hardware Wizard”(Nájdený nový sprievodca

Uzun süre kullanmadığınızda pilleri çıkartın. Biten pilleri uzaktan kumandadan
daima çıkartın. Pil sızıntıları ve korozyon bu uzaktan kumandaya zarar verebilir,
pileri güvenilir bir şekilde atın.
Eski ve yeni pilleri karıştırmayın.
Farklı türdeki pilleri karıştırmayın: alkalin, standart (karbon-çinko) veya yeniden
şarj edilebilir (nikel-kadminyum).
Pilleri ateşe atmayın. Piller patlayabilir veya sızabilir.

Tvarkyklių ir TV programinės įrangos įdiegimas
Tinkamai įdiegę plokštę įjunkite kompiuterį. Sistema naują prietaisą aptiks automatiškai.
Praleiskite vedlį, ir įdėkite įdiegimo CD.
Tvarkyklių ir programos įdiegimas sistemoje “Windows XP / Windows XP
Media Center Edition”
Norėdami įdiegti tvarkykles, Windows XP MCE vartotojas turi išeiti ir įjungti Windows
rėžimą, jei jis tuometu naudojasi Media Center Edition rėžimu.
1. Parodomas „Found New Hardware Wizard“ dialogo langas. Spragtelėkite „Cancel“ ir
praleiskite visas vedlio procedūras
2. Į kompiuterio optinių diskų kaupiklį įdėkite įdiegimo CD diską.
3. Kai parodomas pagrindinis įdiegimo meniu langas, pasirinkite Install AVerTV.
4. Paspauskite Next, kad užbaigti įdiegimo darbus.
5. Perskaistykite sutikimo licenziją ir jei sutinkate, pasirinkite “I accept the terms of the
license agreement” ir tada paspauskite Next.
6. Pasirinkite “Complete” tam, kad įdiegti programinę įrangą, taip pat “AVerTV 6.0
Application, DirectX 9.0c” ir tvarkykles ir paspauskite “Next”. Labiau patyrusiems

1. Jei jūsų sistemoje neįdiegta „DirectX 9.0c“ arba naujesnė sąsaja, įdėjus įdiegimo CD ši sąsaja
paprastai yra įdiegiama automatiškai. Patikrinkite, ar jūsų sistemoje įdiegta „DirectX 9.0c“ sąsaja,
nes priešingu atveju TV pagalbinė programa gali neveikti.
2. Jei jūsų neturite Acrobat Reader, jis bus automtiškai idiegtas įdiegimo procese.

Baterijas laikykite vėsioje, sausoje vietoje.
Jokiu būdu neišmeskite panaudotų baterijų su kitomis buitinėmis šiukšlėmis.
Baterijas leidžiama išmesti tik atitinkamose surinkimo vietose arba, jei to
reikalaujama, grąžinti į pardavimo vietą.
Jei įtaisu nesinaudojate ilgą laiką, išimkite jo baterijas. Išeikvotas baterijas visuomet
išimkite iš nuotolinio valdymo pulto. Iš baterijų ištekėjęs skystis šį nuotolinio
valdymo pultą gali sugadinti. Todėl baterijas išmeskite saugiai.
Nenaudokite senų ir naujų baterijų kartu.
Nemėginkite tarpusavyje derinti skirtingų tipų baterijų: šarminių, standartinių
(anglies-cinko) arba įkraunamų (nikelio-kadmio).
Jokiu būdu neišmeskite baterijų į ugnį. Baterijos gali sprogti arba išsilieti.
Jokiu būdu nemėginkite sujungti baterijų kontaktų trumpąja grandine.
