S21 vibrating ramp - Vibration setup
01) For transporting purposes the S21 vibrating ramp has locked. Before start the use,
unlock it removing the screw as show in the Figure 01

02) For the fine tuning of the
vibration intensity, turn the
screw located in the support
plate of the vibrating track,
near of the eletromagnet.
See figure 02.
Clockwise increases
Vibrating track the vibration, in the

anti-clockwise
decreases.

03) If the tuning is not enough. The adjustment of the intensity of vibration should be done by increasing or
decreasing the distance of the electromagnet of the support plate of the vibrating track.
A - Turn off the S21 capture device.
B - Loosen the screws that hold the
electromagnet as shown in Figure
03.
C - Slide the electromagnet to the
desired position. The higher near the
support plate, greater the vibration.
See the figure 04.
D- Tighten the screws that hold the
eletromagnet.
E- Turn on S21 capture device and
make a vibration test.
F- The Fine Tuning of vibration should
be done as explained in the previous
item

FireWire PCI card instalation
Before you conect the S21
classifier to the computer,
install a PCI FireWire card
suplied with S21 package.
Windows XP operating
system recognize the plug
and play card automaticaly.
Turn off the computer and
place the card in one free PCI slot. (as show in
the images).
Conect the card in a free
PCI slot.

Turn on the
computer. Click in
Start / Control Panel
/ Device manager. If
the instalation
sucessfull, the
FireWire card must
be listed.
