Venue
The ALTE Meeting, Conference Day and Courses will take place in the Faculty of Letters – University
of Lisbon, Alameda da Universidade, 1600-214 Campo Grande – Lisboa.

Transportation from and to the airport
There are several ways of getting to the airport, however the Aerobus is the best way to travel from and
to the airport. With regular daily departures, this service provides the connection between the main
spots of the city, Parque das Nações, Sete Rios & Oriente coach terminals, and the railway station of
Entrecampos, Cais do Sodré and Oriente.
Schedule:
Line 1 City Center: every 20 min, from 21:00 every 30 min.
Airport - Cais do Sodré 7h00 - 23h00, Cais do Sodré - Airport 7h45 - 22h30 (week days) & 7h3022h30 (Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays)
Line 2 Oriente: every 30 min.
Airport - Oriente 8h50 - 21h50, Oriente - Airport 7h30 - 22h00
Line 3 Financial Center Av. José Malhoa - every 30 min.
Airport - Av. José Malhoa Sul 7h40 - 22h10, Av. José Malhoa Sul - Airport 8h15 - 21h15
Tickets can be purchased onboard (€3,50 Adult, €2 Child (4-10) and in Tourism Office counter and at
the airport arrivals (public area). The ticket is valid for 24 hours on Aerobus and on the day of its
validation also on Carris public transports.
Taxis
There are two taxi stands within the perimeter of the airport, one at arrivals and the other at departures.
The fare on the taxi meter should read 2,50€ (daytime pick-up). Outside the city limits, city fares are
charged per kilometer (km=0,42).
1,60€ is charged for the transportation of luggage or animals.
Before taking a taxi, inquire about the fare (an additional 20% is charged for services on Saturdays,
Sundays and holidays and for nighttime service from 9pm to 6am).
You can get more info and purchase a Taxi Voucher at the Tourism Information Counter in the
airport's Arrivals Hall.
Lisbon Metro
Although there is no direct connection to the airport, the nearest metro stations are 15 minutes away by
bus (Gare do Oriente or Areeiro Stations).

How to get to the venues
- By public transport
Metro – Get the yellow line, direction to Odivelas; get off at “Cidade Universitária”; from here it
is a 5 minute walk to Faculty of Letters.

There are always táxis ready and waiting for you near the Hotels (Marquês de Pombal, Campo
Pequeno, São Sebastião).
