Page 2 Sreenwriter (cinema, television, graphic novels, theater) 1995 - 2012 Cinéma : One short movie (« Acte Manqué » “twis of fate” directed by Romain Delange), 2004 One feature (“For your own Good”) en pre-production (will be directed by Olivier Klein) 2011 Television: Over ten features (for French television « Le droit à la vie » (Alya – France 3) « Un week-end pour le dire » (Alya – France 2) « Tout le plaisir est pour moi » (Téléimage)….) Two key steps to make movies move from script to screen: A screenwriting workshop (Plume & Pellicule) together with a film festival en Switzerland and a networking program to allow writers and directors to meet producers during the different film festivals of the world (Los Angeles, San Sebastian, Berlin…) As the head of DreamAgo since 2005, I organize the general actions of DreamAgo (fund raising, connections with consultants, program selection etc..) The networking: conception of the project (vision), organization of the memberships over a few continents, creation and follow-up of four offices over the world (Los Angeles, Madrid, Sierre, Paris) with one head for each office. Connection between the different offices. The screenwriting workshop Plume & Pellicule (eight sessions): fund rising, finding and getting recognized patrons, selection of scripts in three languages, followup with comments of the scripts, organization of master classes, coffee.cine, management of a team of ten professionals over a few countries (two continents) in three languages, supervision of the content of the website, the newsletter, management of the workshop itself (travels for guests, consultants, team), communication with local and federal institutions), relations with the press. I could therefore develop my passion for movies, from script to screen, organize thematic screenings, learn how to face concrete problems like getting copies of movies, get the authorizations, including organize sub-titles if missing, organize the authorization from Cuban citizens to get out of their country. More than anything else, supervise every department to make it work. I organized and managed more than 60 movies screenings of feature and over 40 short movies. Meet your Match: the development of a professional networking between different film festivals. To organize the financing partnership and coordinate the action with the head of DreamAgo USA. Conception of a special “speed dating” event and a panel on “getting concrete” from script to screen in partnership with WGA. In other words, the steps requested from a writer after he gets his script optioned. Page 3
