NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Souza Cruz S.A. (“Company”) informs its shareholders and the market in general
that on this date, executed a irreversibly and irrevocably Sales and Purchase
Agreement with São Carlos Empreendimentos e Participações S.A. (“São Carlos”)
to sell its office headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, for R$ 75 million. On this same date,
both parties also signed a lease contract, through which the Company will continue to
occupy the referred building.
The Company also informs that this transaction is aligned with its principles to
generate value to its shareholders through a continuous improvement of its
efficiency and return on its assets.
