Quite apart from being related to
each other, Tânia Dessa and Miguel
Ribeiro also share a long, eight-year
partnership which has seen the
creation of interior spaces and pieces
of furniture. With the launch of their
Sinergias brand and the inauguration
of their showroom, close to the Botanical Gardens of Oporto, the interior
and furniture designer and communications designer have now embarked
on a new challenge by presenting a
language which blends contemporary
and ethnic styles. Their preference
for brands such as Poliform, Acerbis,
Ingo Maurer, Kristalia, Paola Lenti,
Dab, to mention but a few, has given
rise to a collection geared towards
private projects and the hotel industry,
which is their target area in terms of
both the creation of projects and the
supply of pieces and furnishings.
The ‘Bonsai’ sideboard and ‘Sushi’
table, both of which were revealed
at the latest edition of Casa Decor in
Oporto herald the birth of the Sinergia
furniture range designed by the pair.
In collaboration with the creations of
Portuguese designers and some of
the most prestigious international contemporary collections, they promise
us a new and multifaceted approach
that is minimalist in its essence. ::

Tânia Dessa e Miguel Ribeiro partilham, para além dos laços de sangue,
um longo percurso de oito anos de
colaboração na criação de espaços
interiores e peças de mobiliário.
Com a criação da marca Sinergias
e a abertura do showroom, junto ao
Jardim Botânico do Porto, a designer
de interiores e mobiliário e o designer
de comunicação lançam-se num
novo desafio apresentando uma
linguagem onde o estilo contemporâneo e étnico se diluem.
A aposta em marcas como a Poliform, Acerbis, Ingo Maurer, Kristalia,
Paola Lenti, Dab, entre muitas outras,
anuncia uma selecção vocacionada
para projectos privados e hotelaria,
área que pretendem trabalhar, quer
a nível de projecto, quer a nível de
fornecimento de peças.
