From the airport, you have 3 possibilities to get to the hostel:
1) At the airport, take bus T5. Then, take off on the second stop of Rua Jose
Bonifacio (in front of Colegio militar) and walk on the same direction of the bus
until you reach Rua João Pessoa and turn right. After that, walk 4 blocks until
you find Rua da Republica, turn left and go straight until Rua Lima e Silva. Once
there, turn right and walk 1 block until you reach Rua Sarmento Leite (that´s
the street of the hostel) turn left and look for 964 Sarmiento Leite street and
you will see CIDADE BAIXA SIGN.
2) Walk until airport train station and take train (direction:mercado). Stop on
MERCADO PUBLICO station. After that, out of the station and turn right till Av
Borges de Medeiros terminal. There, take bus 343 Campus Ipiranga. After, take
off at Sarmiento Leite street in front of Rio Grande do Sul Federal University.
Walk on the same direction of the bus, walk under the bridge, walk through Av
Loureiro da Silva and walk straight for two blocks on Sartmiento Leitte street
until 964 and you will see CIDADE BAIXA HOSTEL SIGN.
3) Walk until airport train station and take train (direction : Mercado)stop in
Rodoviaria station. Go out from station until Conceição street. Take buses:
272/Moradas da Hípica – 2441/ Santa Tereza – 244/Santa Tereza –
282/Cruzeiro do Sul – 2821/ Pereira Passos – 176/Serraria (Rodoviária) –
255/Caldre Fião – 273/ Belém Novo|Hípica.
You need to get off at Patrocinios Street (1st stop) walk towards sarmiento
Leite street and turn left. Walk one block and you will find us!!!
