Fosse o agronegócio brasileiro um avião e 2015 a rota do cruzeiro, os passageiros teriam recebido diversos avisos
de “atar o cinto de segurança”. Todavia, o aeroplano continua, e continuará, a voar. No ano em que à recessão
econômica, evidenciada pela retração do Produto Interno Bruto (PIB), somaram-se condições climáticas imprevisíveis,
até mesmo o agronegócio, um dos pilares mais vigorosos da economia nacional, sentiu efeitos das turbulências. O
termo “crise” virou passageiro fiel do noticiário nacional, muitas vezes atrelado mais a questões políticas, éticas e
morais, do que propriamente econômicas.
Alicerçada por seu planejamento estratégico, que, por sua vez, abarca os princípios da sustentabilidade, do
crescimento do Ebitda e da rentabilidade ao cooperado, a partir do acrônimo SER, a Cooperativa Agrária teve um
ano seguro, apesar das intempéries. Enquanto a produção de soja (3.780 kg/ha) e milho (11.947 kg/ha) garantiram
resultados satisfatórios na safra de verão 2014/15, as culturas de inverno sofreram com a fúria de um dos mais
potentes exemplares já registrados do fenômeno El Niño. As produtividades ficaram consideravelmente abaixo do
esperado, com 2.857 kg/ha de cevada e 2.563 kg/ha de trigo. Ainda que praticamente impossível prevenir, tratou-se
da primeira quebra de safra em mais de dez anos.
Nesse cenário, o empenho, a experiência e o conhecimento do cooperado da Agrária foram determinantes no
sentido de dirimir perdas. Mesmo com resultados até 30% abaixo da média do ano passado, nas culturas de inverno,
nossos agricultores mantiveram produtividade cerca de 10% acima da média brasileira. Da mesma forma, a Agrária,
graças à sua estrutura balizada por uma completa cadeia produtiva, desde a pesquisa até a industrialização da
produção, teve fôlego para implantar medidas de auxílio ao cooperado, com o intuito de minimizar os impactos
negativos gerados pela safra de inverno.
E não é exagero dizer que, a começar pelo campo, o copo continua, no mínimo, meio cheio. No mesmo ano em
que as culturas de inverno sofreram com excesso de chuvas, a FAPA (Fundação Agrária de Pesquisa Agropecuária)
apresentou nova variedade de cevada. Depois da ocorrência de doenças, que preocuparam o cooperado na safra de
verão, a pesquisa trouxe uma cultivar de soja nova e exclusiva para a região. São respostas concretas às incertezas,
visando tanto o presente quanto o futuro.
O caminhar conjunto da evolução e da diversificação oferece possibilidades para pequenos, médios e grandes
produtores. Culturas, como batata, tomate, cebola, entre outras, agora contam com um grupo próprio de assistência
técnica, e provam que não só de grãos vive o cooperado. Aliás, a bovinocultura de leite praticamente duplicou a
produção em relação ao ano anterior, com o mesmo número de produtores. Se há algumas décadas agricultores
suábios, especializados em cereais de inverno, aprenderam a cultivar soja e milho em Entre Rios, não é de surpreender
que as novas gerações tentassem explorar melhor o potencial desta terra.
Enquanto descrições mais apropriadas poderiam facilmente substituir a palavra “crise” para designar 2015, não
há léxico que substitua o poder do conceito de cooperativismo. Aliar a sustentabilidade, a perpetuação das atividades
do cooperado e a gestão profissional conhecida e reconhecida, tanto dentro quanto fora da porteira, é ao mesmo
tempo o desafio e o êxito maior do agronegócio.
A fórmula encontrada pela Agrária para enfrentar esse momento de grande atenção é intensificar justamente
a gestão profissional. Os investimentos traçados e iniciados ao longo dos últimos anos, em consonância com o
Planejamento Estratégico estabelecido para o período de 2013-2018, são como rotas estabelecidas por critérios
sólidos e que deverão ser seguidas até o objetivo final.
A parceria firmada anteriormente para a construção de uma hidrelétrica própria gerará alívio diante da alta
superior a 100% no preço da energia elétrica para as indústrias. Da mesma forma, os investimentos para a ampliação
da capacidade produtiva e de armazenagem possibilitarão a continuidade do desenvolvimento do cooperado e
suas indústrias. Incrementos que surgem justamente como impulsionadores, e até mesmo estabilizadores, para a
Cooperativa superar o momento de inconstância macroeconômica.
Assim como ocorre com as intempéries, as dimensões da instabilidade econômica ainda são imprevisíveis e, sim,
poderão atingir o agronegócio com ainda mais força. Mas, neste momento, é justo afirmar que, se a crise sopra na
contramão do crescimento econômico, tanto o cooperado quanto a própria Agrária, com a cautela que a rota exige,
põem à prova novamente sua capacidade de gestão profissional para voar no sentido oposto à turbulência.

Wäre das brasilianische Agrargeschäft ein Flugzeug und 2015 die Flugroute,
würden die Passagiere mehrere Warnungen erhalten haben, wie "Bitte den
Sicherheitsgurt anlegen." Dennoch setzte das Flugzeug seinen Flug fort, und
wird auch weiterhin fliegen. In diesem Jahr, mit wirtschaftlicher Rezession,
bedingt durch den Rückgang des Bruttoinlandsprodukts (BIP), verhielt sich das
unberechenbaren Wetter ähnlich wie das Agrargeschäft, eines der stärksten
Säulen der Volkswirtschaft und bekam die Auswirkungen der Turbulenzen zu
spüren. Der Begriff "Krise" war ein treuer Passagier der nationalen Nachrichten
und es ging oft mehr um politische, ethische und moralische, als um
wirtschaftliche Fragen.
Durch ihren strategischen Plan, der seit der Einführung des SER, die
Prinzipien Nachhaltigkeit, Wachstum des Ebitda und Rentabilität für die
Mitglieder enthält, hatte die Genossenschaft Agrária ein sicheres Jahr, trotz
der Wetterkapriolen. Während die Produktion bei Soja (3.780 kg / ha) und
Mais (11.947 kg / ha) zufriedenstellende Ergebnisse bei der Sommerernte
2014/15 gewährleisteten, litten die Winterkulturen unter der Wucht eines der
mächtigsten, jemals verzeichneten Exemplare des El-Niño-Phänomens. Die
Produktivität lag deutlich unter den Erwartungen, mit 2.857 kg / ha bei Gerste
und 2.563 kg / ha bei Weizen. Obwohl es praktisch unmöglich war, dies zu
verhindern, handelte es sich um ersten Ernteausfall seit mehr als zehn Jahren.
In diesem Szenario waren Engagement, Erfahrung und Wissen der AgráriaMitglieder maßgeblich, um die Verluste auszugleichen. Obwohl die Ergebnisse
bis zu 30% unter dem Durchschnitt des letzten Jahres lagen, hielten unsere
Landwirte die Produktivität rund 10% über dem nationalen Durchschnitt.
Ebenso hatte die Agrária, dank ihrer Struktur, mit einer kompletten
Produktionskette, von der Forschung bis zur Industrialisierung der Produktion,
genug Luft, um Hilfsmaßnahmen für ihre Mitglieder zu ergreifen und die
negativen Auswirkungen der Winterernte zu minimieren.
Und es ist nicht übertrieben, zu sagen, dass das Glas, im landwirtschaftlichen
Sektor, immer noch mindestens halb voll ist. Im gleichen Jahr, in dem die
Winterkulturen unter übermäßigen Niederschlägen litten, präsentierte die FAPA
(Agrária-Stiftung für landwirtschaftliche Forschung) eine neue Gerstensorte.
Nach dem Auftreten von Krankheiten, die den Mitgliedern bei der Sommerernte
Sorgen bereiteten, brachte die Forschung eine neue, einzigartige Soja-Sorte,
exklusiv für die Region heraus. Das sind konkrete Antworten auf Unsicherheiten,
die sowohl in die Gegenwart als auch in die Zukunft weisen.
Der gemeinsame Weg der Entwicklung und Diversifizierung bietet
Möglichkeiten für kleine, mittlere und große Produzenten. Kulturen,
wie etwa Kartoffeln, Tomaten und Zwiebeln, bilden jetzt ihre eigene
Gruppe der technischen Assistenz, und beweisen, dass die Mitglieder
nicht nur vom Getreideanbau leben. Darüber hinaus verdoppelte sich
fast die Milchviehproduktion, im Vergleich zum Vorjahr, mit der gleichen
Produzentenzahl. Wenn donauschwäbische Bauern, seit einigen Jahrzehnten
in Wintergetreide spezialisiert, gelernt haben, Soja und Mais in Entre Rios
zu pflegen, dann ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass die neuen Generationen
versuchen, das Potenzial dieses Landes besser zu nutzen.
Als weitere geeignete Umschreibung könnte man leicht das Wort "Krise"
nehmen, um 2015 zu beschreiben, doch gibt es kein Synonym für die
Macht des Begriffs Genossenschaftswesen. Es verbindet Nachhaltigkeit,
den Fortbestand der Aktivitäten ihrer Mitglieder und das professionelle
Management, bekannt sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb seiner Türen, ist es
gleichzeitig Herausforderung und erfolgreichste Agrarindustrie.
Die für die Agrária gefundene Formel, um diesem Moment der großen
Aufmerksamkeit ins Auge zu sehen, heißt genau, das professionelle Management
zu steigern. Die durchgeführten und begonnenen Investitionen in den letzten
Jahren, im Einklang mit dem Strategieplan für den Zeitraum 2013 bis 2018, sind
als feste Routen nach soliden Kriterien festgelegt, um das Endziel zu erreichen.
Die zuvor bekräftigte Partnerschaft zum Aufbau eines eigenen
Wasserkraftwerkes bringt Entlastung von mehr als 100% für den Strompreis
der Industrien. Ebenso werden Investitionen zur Erweiterung der
Produktionskapazität und Lagerung die weitere Entwicklung der Mitglieder und
ihrer Geschäftsfelder ermöglichen. Erweiterungen, die für die Genossenschaft
genau wie Impulse wirken, ja sogar wie Stabilisatoren, zur Überwindung von
Momenten makroökonomischer Schwankungen.
Wie die Wetterkapriolen, sind auch die Dimensionen der wirtschaftlichen
Instabilität nicht vorhersehbar und, ja, sie könnten das Agrogeschäft mit noch
größerer Kraft treffen. Doch heute lässt sich mit Sicherheit sagen: Wenn die
Krise gegen das Wirtschaftswachstum bläst, werden sowohl Mitglied, als auch
die Agrária selbst, diese erneute Prüfung mit der gebotenen Vorsicht für die
Strecke, aufgrund ihrer professionellen Management-Fähigkeiten bestehen und
in die entgegengesetzte Richtung der Turbulenzen fliegen.
If Brazilian agribusiness were a plane and the year 2015 were the route
to be followed, the passengers would have received several warnings
to “fasten their seat belts”. However, the airplane continues, and will
continue, flying. During a year in which unforeseeable climate conditions
were added to the economic recession – made evident by the reduction
in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) – even agribusiness, one of the
mainstays of the national economy, felt the effects of the turbulence. The
word “crisis” has become a frequent passenger in the national news, very
often being more connected with political, ethical and moral issues than
actual economic ones.
Underpinned by its strategic planning, which encompasses the principles
of sustainability, Ebitda growth and return for our members – represented
by the acronym “SER” – Cooperativa Agrária experienced a safe year,
despite the bad weather events. While the output of soybeans (3,780 kg/
ha) and corn (11,947 kg/ha) ensured satisfactory results for the 2014/15
Summer crop, the Winter crops were badly affected by the strength of the
El Niño phenomenon, one of the fiercest ever recorded. Productivity was
considerably below expectations, with 2,857 kg/ha of barley and 2,563
kg/ha of wheat. Though practically impossible to prevent, this was the first
crop failure in more than a decade.
In this scenario, the constant effort, the experience and the know-how
of Agrária’s members were determining factors in mitigating losses. Even
with results up to 30% below the previous year’s average, our farmers
maintained productivity around 10% above the Brazilian average.
Likewise, Agrária – thanks to its structure, which consists of a complete
production chain, from research to the industrial processing of its produce
– had the vitality to implement measures to assist its members, with a
view to minimizing the negative impacts caused by the Winter crop.
It is no exaggeration to say that, starting in the field, the glass is still at least
half full. In the same year as the Winter crops suffered from excessive rain,
FAPA (the Agrária Foundation for Agricultural Research) presented a new
variety of barley. And after the occurrence of diseases in the Summer crops
that worried cooperative members, the research area introduced a new and
exclusive soybean cultivar for the region. These are concrete responses to
uncertainties, aiming at both the present and the future.
The joint movement of evolution and diversification offers potential to
small, medium and large producers. Crops like potatoes, tomatoes, onions
and others now have their own technical assistance group, and prove
that cooperative members do not live on grain alone. Besides, the dairy
cattle business practically doubled its output in relation to the previous
year, with the same number of producers. If some decades ago Swabian
farmers, specialized in Winter cereal crops, learnt to grow soybeans and
corn in Entre Rios, it is not surprising that the new generations would try
to make the best use of the potential of this land.
While more appropriate expressions might easily replace the word “crisis”
to describe 2015, there is no lexicon that could replace the power of the
cooperative concept. To bring together sustainability, the perpetuation of
the members’ activities, and the professional management that is known
and recognized both inside and outside our walls, is at the same time the
challenge and the greatest success of our agribusiness.
The formula found by Agrária to face this difficult time, which requires
us to be very much on the alert, is precisely to enhance our professional
management. The investments designed and started in the course of the
last few years, in accordance with the Strategic Planning established for
the 2013-2018 period, are like routes established by solid criteria which
should be followed up to the final goal.
The partnership entered into earlier for the construction of the
Cooperative’s own hydroelectric plant will greatly mitigate the increase in
the price of electric power for industries, which exceeded 100%. Likewise,
the investments for expansion in production and storage capacity will
enable continuous development for our members and industries. These
increases act precisely as boosting, and even stabilizing, factors, helping
the Cooperative to overcome this time of changeable macroeconomic
conditions.
Just like the weather, the magnitude of the economic instability is still
unforeseeable; and yes, it can indeed have an even greater impact on
agribusiness. But at this moment, it is fair to say that if the crisis blows
in the opposite direction to economic growth, both our members and
Agrária itself, with all the caution that the route requires, are putting to
the test, once again, their professional management capacity to fly in the
opposite direction to the turbulence.

A interação entre as pessoas, o negócio
e o meio ambiente formam a tríade da
sustentabilidade - um conceito já enraizado
em várias frentes da Cooperativa. Incluso no
Planejamento Estratégico a partir do propósito
estratégico SER (Sustentabilidade, Ebitda
e Rentabilidade), o processo, entre outros
avanços, contribuiu para a redução no número
de acidentes com afastamento, aproximando
a Cooperativa da meta de zerar este índice até
2018. Da mesma forma, a Agrária reforçou
sua atenção a outros aspectos inerentes à
sustentabilidade, como a preocupação pela
perpetuação dos negócios dos cooperados, a
valorização histórica e cultural dos Suábios do
Danúbio e de toda a comunidade, bem como a
preservação ambiental.

Die Interaktion zwischen Mensch, Wirtschaft und
Umwelt bildet den Dreiklang der Nachhaltigkeit ein Konzept, das bereits an mehreren Fronten der
Genossenschaft greift. In der strategischen Planung
seit der strategischen Zielsetzung SER (Nachhaltigkeit,
EBITDA und Rentabilität) verankert, wird der Prozess
unter anderen Verbesserungen, dazu beigetragen,
die Zahl der Unfälle mit Arbeitsausfall zu reduzieren.
Damit nähert sich die Genossenschaft dem Ziel Null
bei dieser Quote bis 2018. In der gleichen Weise
verstärkt die Agrária ihre Aufmerksamkeit auf andere,
mit der Nachhaltigkeit verbundene Aspekte, wie
die Sorge um die Erhaltung der Geschäftsfelder der
Mitglieder, die historische und kulturelle Entwicklung
der Donauschwaben und der gesamten Gemeinde,
wie auch um die Erhaltung der Umwelt.

Sustainability
Interaction among people, the business and the
environment form the three pillars of sustainability
– a concept that has already taken root in several of
the Cooperative’s fronts. Among other advances, this
process – which is included in the Strategic Planning,
based on the strategic proposition “SER” (Sustainability,
Ebitda and Return) – has contributed to a reduction
in the number of accidents involving sick leave, thus
bringing the Cooperative closer to its target of zeroing
this rate by 2018. Likewise, Agrária gave even greater
attention to other aspects inherent to sustainability,
such as its concern with perpetuating its members’
business, and ensuring the history and culture of the
Danube Swabians and of the whole community are
properly valued, as well as environmental preservation.

Actions focusing on health at the work-place
included the annual flu vaccination campaign,
in May. Talks, specifically for women and
men, discussed the importance of prevention,
in the “Pink October” and “Blue November”
campaigns, respectively.

Projekt zur Senkung der Unfallzahlen
Neben den Strukturen und Prozessen hängt
die gute Leistung der Arbeitsplatzsicherheit in
erster Linie von Menschen ab. Im Jahr 2015
eingeführt, umfasste das Projekt zur Senkung
der Unfallzahlen verschiedene, vor allem
vorbeugende Maßnahmen, mit dem Ziel,
Unfälle mit Arbeitsausfall bis zum Jahr 2018
auszuschließen.
Projeto de redução de acidentes
Além de estruturas e processos, o bom desempenho da
segurança do trabalho depende essencialmente das pessoas.
Implementado em 2015, o projeto de redução de acidentes
englobou diversas ações, principalmente preventivas, com
vistas à meta de extinguir os casos com afastamento até 2018.

reduction project implemented in 2015,
included several actions – especially preventive
ones – aiming at the target of eliminating
cases involving sick leave by 2018.

Dozens of cultural presentations, hundreds
of readers of the Entre Rios Magazine, and
thousands of visitors to the Entre Rios Historical
Museum and listeners to the Unicentro Entre
Rios FM Radio Station: by these means the
Swabian Brazilian Cultural Foundation (FCSB)
reaffirmed its mission to preserve, promote and
disseminate the culture and traditions brought
to us by the pioneers, over six decades ago. .

40 Jahre Jugendcenter
Das Jugendcenter, gegründet zur Erhaltung

Die zu diesem besonderen Anlass gestaltete

Radio Unicentro Entre Rios FM
Im November 2015 wurde der Rundfunksender,
in Partnerschaft zwischen der Genossenschaft
Agrária und der staatlichen Universität
Unicentro in „Rádio Unicentro Entre Rios FM“
umbenannt. Der Austausch von „Universität“ in
„Unicentro“ soll damit den Wert der Marke und
Partner erhöhen.

German Immigration Day
German immigration to Brazil is always
celebrated on July 25th. In connection with the
191st commemoration of this date, the Thomas
Schwarz Theatre Group performed the play

Jugendcenter: 40 Years
The Jugendcenter (Youth Center), whose
purpose is to maintain the Swabian culture and

Die Stiftung, zu der auch die SemmelweisApotheke gehört, erhielt Unterstützung durch
Spenden von Mitgliedern, Mitarbeitern, der
Gemeinde und von Partnerunternehmen. Mit
Zuwendungen der Genossenschaft Agrária
und Mitteln aus Veranstaltungen wie das

In 2015, the Semmelweis Hospital won
certification under the “Clean Hands, Safe
Patients” project, in relation to all its facilities,
given by the State Health Secretariat. The
Foundation, which also includes the Semmelweis

vollendete im Jahr 2015 sein 15-jähriges
Bestehen. Durch den Frauenverband von Entre
Rios geführt, wird die Institution von der Agrária
seit Beginn seiner Tätigkeit unterstützt. Die
Feier des besonderen Jahrestages wurde im
April am Sitz des Projeção gehalten.
O Projeção (Projeto Jovens em Ação) completou 15 anos de
existência em 2015. Mantido pela Associação Beneficente
das Senhoras de Entre Rios, a instituição conta com apoio da
Agrária desde o começo das atividades. A celebração da data
especial foi realizada em abril, na sede do Projeção.

am 6. Juni 1990 gegründet und feierte sein

ABSER: 25 Anos
A Abser (Associação Beneficente das Senhoras de Entre
Rios), constituída em 6 de junho de 1990, comemorou 25
anos de existência em 2015. Dentre os principais objetivos
da associação estão a promoção da assistência social à
população carente de Entre Rios, da proteção à família, à
maternidade, à infância, à adolescência e à velhice, tal como
o amparo às crianças e adolescentes.

Esporte e Lazer
Uma das formas encontradas pela Agrária em prol do

de fundação em 2015.

management and its results. Once again, the Cooperative
stood out in national publications, and was also honored

Um die Ziele des SER (Nachhaltigkeit, Ebitda
und Rentabilität), zu bekräftigen, veranstaltete
die Genossenschaft im August den Event SER
Agrária, der relevante Inhalte enthielt zur
Stärkung der Genossenschafts-Ziele in Bezug auf
Qualitätsmanagement, Gesundheit, Sicherheit
und Umwelt. Unter anderem umfasste die
Veranstaltung den Vortrag des Seglers Lars
Grael, Theaterwettbewerbe, Parodien und
Design. SER setzt als Ziel, Null Arbeitsunfälle mit
Ausfallzeit, Ebitda (Ergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern
und Abschreibungen) von R$ 350 Millionen, und
die Rentabilität des Mitglieds von 5% über der
Inflationsrate bis 2018.

realizou, em agosto, o Evento SER Agrária, que trouxe
conteúdo relevante para reforçar as metas da Cooperativa

com palestra do velejador Lars Grael e concursos de teatro,
paródias e desenho. O SER estabelece meta de zero acidente

Impostos, Depreciação e Amortização) de R$ 350 milhões, e
rentabilidade ao cooperado 5% superior à inflação até 2018.

Assembleia Geral Ordinária
A Assembleia Geral Ordinária, realizada dia 7 de março,
contou com a participação de 119 cooperados no Centro
Cultural Mathias Leh. O encontro serviu para prestar contas
do exercício anterior e definir assuntos estratégicos para
2015, além de eleger os novos conselheiros fiscais.
With a view to reaffirming the SER
(Sustainability, Ebitda and Return) targets, in
August the Cooperative held the Agrária SER
Event, which presented important content to
reinforce the Cooperative’s objectives regarding
the management of quality, health, safety, and
the environment. Among other activities, the
event included a talk given by the yachtsman
Lars Grael, besides theater, parody and drawing
contests. The SER establishes a zero target
for accidents at work involving leave, Ebitda
(Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation
and Amortization) of R$ 350 million, and a
return to cooperative members 5% above
inflation, to be reached by 2018.
General Shareholders’ Meeting
The General Shareholders’ Meeting, held at the
Mathias Leh Cultural Center on March 7, was
attended by 119 cooperative members. At the
meeting, the accounts related to the previous
financial year were presented, strategic
matters for 2015 were settled, and new audit
committee members were elected.

Mit etwa hundert Beteiligten, einschließlich
der Beschäftigten der Agrária und der
Beratungsteams, beendete das ExzellenzProjekt die 1. Welle im Januar 2015. Das
Programm erlaubt es, manuelle Prozesse zu

Com cerca de cem pessoas envolvidas,
entre colaboradores da Agrária e equipes de
consultorias, o Projeto Excelência concluiu a
implantação da 1ª Onda em 2015, no mês de
janeiro. O programa, que visa reduzir processos
manuais, centralizar os dados e facilitar o acesso
a informações gerenciais, inclusive com maior
confiabilidade, por meio da gestão SAP, já realizou
etapas importantes de implantação da 2ª Onda,
na qual estão sendo abordados os processos
industriais e comerciais.
Audit des Präsidenten
Die interne Revision wird einmal jährlich
in jedem Bereich der Genossenschaft
durchgeführt, um Wissen und Kenntnisse der
Mitarbeiter, Koordinatoren und Leiter über
die Prozesse der eigenen Abteilung und der
Agrária als Ganzes zu überprüfen. Im Jahr
2015 fanden 37 Überprüfungen statt, wobei
der Zeitplan im Juni begann und im November
endete. Die Direktion leitete die Prüfung und
der Verwaltungsrat war eingeladen, sie durch
das Qualitätsmanagement zu begleiten.

Auditoria do Presidente
A auditoria do presidente é realizada uma vez
por ano em cada área da Cooperativa, a fim
de verificar o conhecimento e domínio dos
colaboradores, coordenadores e gerentes sobre os
processos do próprio setor e da Agrária como um
todo. Em 2015, foram realizadas 37 auditorias,
sendo que o cronograma começou em junho e se
encerrou em novembro. A auditoria é realizada
pela diretoria e convidados do Conselho de
Administração, acompanhados pela área de
gestão da qualidade.
Projekt Exzellenz
Excellence Project
With about one hundred persons involved,
including Agrária employees and consulting
teams, the Excellence Project completed the
1st Wave in 2015, in the month of January.
The program, which aims at reducing manual
processes, centralizing data and facilitating
access to managerial information, adding
greater reliability, by implementing the SAP
management system, has already carried
out important stages of the 2nd Wave
implementation, which addresses the industrial
and commercial processes.
The President’s Audit
The president’s audit is carried out once a
year in each of the Cooperative’s areas, in
order to verify the knowledge and command
of employees, coordinators and managers
regarding the processes of their own sector
and of Agrária as a whole. In 2015, 37 audits
were carried out – the agenda started in June
and was concluded in November. The audit is
effected by the directors and invited Members
of the Board, accompanied by the quality
management area.

Die letzte Umfrage zur Zufriedenheit der
Mitglieder, aus dem Jahr 2014, führte zu 58

Das Synergie-Programm ist ein umfassendes
Programm in Bezug auf die Agrária-Futtermittel
mit seinen 12 Vertretungen in mehr als
400 Städten von Paraná, São Paulo, Santa
Catarina und Rio Grande do Sul. Der Zweck
ist, die Einheitlichkeit in der Handlungsweise
zu gewährleisten und die Handelsvertreter zu
bedienen, wie auch die Vision der Agrária zu
verbreiten.
Sinergia – Nutrição Animal
O programa Sinergia é um abrangente programa de
relacionamento da Agrária Nutrição Animal com seus 12
representantes em mais de 400 cidades do Paraná, São
Paulo, Santa Catarina e Rio Grande do Sul. A finalidade é
garantir a uniformidade na forma de atuar e de atender por
parte dos representantes de vendas, bem como disseminar
a visão da Agrária.

satisfaction
The latest Survey of Cooperative Members’
Satisfaction, carried out in 2014, resulted in 58
macro-actions, distributed among the executive
committee and four of Agrária’s management
areas. These actions, which started to be
implemented in 2015, are guidelines that
unfold into a series of activities to meet the
suggestions and demands from cooperative
members, gathered during the survey.
Synergy – Animal Nutrition
The Synergy program is a comprehensive
program related to the Agrária Animal
Nutrition division’s relationship with its 12
representatives, who cover over 400 towns
in the States of Paraná, São Paulo, Santa
Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. The objective
is to ensure uniformity in the way sales
representatives operate and render services, as
well as to disseminate Agrária’s vision.

Synergie- Event darauf ab, Vertreter der Abteilung
anzuerkennen und zu belohnen, unter ihnen Helfer,
Agronomen, Mitglieder und Koordinatoren der
Gruppen.
O programa Sinergia da Assistência Técnica mensura
os resultados individuais e em equipe alcançados pelo
departamento. Realizado em maio, o Evento Sinergia
teve como objetivo reconhecer e premiar representantes
do setor, entre auxiliares, agrônomos e cooperados
coordenadores dos grupos.

Vier neue Sektoren erhielten im Jahr 2015 die
Zertifizierung nach ISO 9001: Aufforstung, Marketing,
Agrária-Saatgut und Interne Revision. Somit schließt
die Agrária das Jahr mit 11 Zertifizierungen. Neben

Synergy – Technical Assistance
The Technical Assistance Synergy program measures
both individual results and those attained as team
work, achieved by the department. The objective of
the Synergy Event, which was held in May, was to
show recognition and give awards to representatives
of the sector, including assistants, agronomists and
cooperative members coordinating the groups.
New Certifications
Four more sectors won the ISO 9001 certification in
2015: Forestry, Marketing, Agrária Seeds and Internal
Auditing. As a result, Agrária ended the year with 11
certifications. In addition to the most recent ones, the
following units had already received the certification:
People and Management Department (six sectors), IT
Coordination, Administrative Department (five areas),
FAPA (Agrária Foundation for Agricultural Research),

O PACR (Programa Agrária de Certificação Rural) ganhou
novos contornos em 2015, de modo a atender de forma
mais completa as necessidades de gestão do cooperado,
e ainda oferecer aos clientes da Agrária os diferenciais
que eles requerem em termos de sustentabilidade. Uma
das novidades foi a inclusão da certificação em gestão da
produção rural.
Das PACR (Agrária-Programm zur
landwirtschaftlichen Zertifizierung) erhielt
im Jahr 2015 neue Dimensionen, um den
Management-Anforderungen des Mitglieds
besser gerecht zu werden, aber auch, um den
Agrária-Kunden, die im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit
erforderlichen Differenzierungen zu bieten.
Eine der Neuerung war die Aufnahme der
Zertifizierung in Bewirtschaftung der ländlichen
Produktion.

The PACR (Agrária Program for Rural
Certification) was given new formats in 2015,
in order to meet the members’ management
needs more thoroughly, and also to offer
Agrária’s customers the differentials they
require in terms of sustainability. One of the
novelties was the inclusion of the certification

Die Agrária kam deutlich voran im Six SigmaBereich während des Jahres 2015. Die in
mehreren großen Unternehmen angewandte
Methode zielt darauf ab, Prozesse zu
verbessern, kritische Probleme zu lösen und
verhindert Ausfälle.
Insgesamt wurden 26 neue Green Belts
geschult (Mitarbeiter, die Six Sigma neben
ihrer Hauptfunktion durchführen) und
weitere 17 wurden in der Agrária für die
Zertifizierung empfohlen. Darüber hinaus war
die Qualifikation von Fachleuten ein wichtiger
Fortschritt, um intern die Green Belt-Schulung
zu verwalten. Mit diesen Ergebnissen kam die
Genossenschaft auf 47 Green Belts und zwei
Black Belts Zertifikate (Mitarbeiter, die sich voll
auf Six Sigma konzentrierten).
Seis Sigma
A Agrária avançou significativamente no âmbito do Seis
Sigma, ao longo de 2015. O método, usado em várias
grandes companhias, visa melhorar os processos, resolver
problemas críticos e evitar falhas.
Ao todo, foram treinados 26 novos Green Belts
(colaboradores que executam o Seis Sigma paralelamente
à sua função principal) e outros 17 foram recomendados
para certificação, na Agrária. Além disso, um avanço
importante foi a qualificação dos profissionais para ministrar
internamente o treinamento de Green Belt. Com esses
resultados, a Cooperativa chegou a 47 Green Belts e dois
Black Belts (colaboradores dedicados integralmente ao Seis
Sigma) certificados.

Six Sigma
Agrária advanced significantly in the Six Sigma
sphere in the course of 2015. This method,
used in many large companies, aims at
improving processes, solving critical problems
and avoiding errors.
In all, 26 new Green Belts (employees who
carry out the Six Sigma along with their main
functions) were trained, and another 17 were
recommended for certification at Agrária.
In addition, an important advance was that
professionals became qualified to give the
Green Belt training internally. With these results,
the Cooperative’s numbers reached 47 certified
Green Belts and two certified Black Belts

Mehr als 8000 Schulungen wurden

Qualifizierungsstunden zur beruflichen
Weiterbildung. Darüber hinaus wurden im
Rahmen der Agrária-Universität die Lehrpläne

vereinte insgesamt 33 Genossenschaften von
Paraná, mit insgesamt 74 Vertretern, darunter
Präsidenten und Direktoren. Die Besucher
hatten die Möglichkeit, das professionelle
Management-Modell der Agrária kennen zu
lernen, wie auch die Geschichte und Werte der
Genossenschaft.

A Cooperativa Agrária foi escolhida, em razão do seu
modelo de gestão, para sediar o primeiro Fórum dos
Presidentes de Cooperativas realizado pela Ocepar

Cooperative Presidents Forum
TCooperativa Agrária was chosen, because
of its management model, to host the first
Cooperative Presidents Forum organized
by Ocepar (State of Paraná Cooperatives
Organization) outside Curitiba. The meeting
was held in April, and brought together a
total of 33 Paraná cooperatives, totaling 74
representatives, including presidents and
directors. The visitors had the opportunity to
get to know Agrária’s professional management

Versuchsbrauerei
Als großer Vorteil für das Malz- Geschäft,
wurde am 15. März, die Versuchsbrauerei
der Agrária eingeweiht. Die Räumlichkeiten
konzentrieren sich voll auf die Verbesserung
der Bierprodukte, und es ist den Kunden der
Agrária-Mälzerei erlaubt, Rezepte zu testen und
Leistungsversuche von neuen Gerstensorten zur
Bierherstellung durchzuführen. Das erste, in der
Mikrobrauerei hergestellte Bier war das SiedlerBier, das die donauschwäbischen Pioniere, die
Entre Rios besiedelten, ehrt.
Um grande diferencial para os negócios de malte, foi
inaugurada em 15 de março a cervejaria experimental
da Agrária. O espaço é integralmente voltado ao
aperfeiçoamento dos produtos cervejeiros, incluindo permitir
aos clientes da Agrária Malte testar receitas e possibilitar
experimentos de desempenho de novas cultivares de
cevada no processo de produção de cerveja. A primeira
cerveja produzida na microcervejaria foi a Siedler Bier, que

Experimental Brewery
A great differential for the malt business,
Agrária’s experimental brewery was inaugurated
on March 15. The unit is totally dedicated to
improving products for breweries, including
enabling Agrária Malte’s customers to test
recipes, and permitting experiments to verify the
performance of new barley cultivars in the beer
brewing process. The first beer produced in the
micro-brewery was Siedler Bier, which honors the
Swabian pioneers who colonized Entre Rios.

In certain years, working together not only makes all the
difference, but is essential. The cooperative members’
efforts, supported by the information and technical data
made available by Agrária, were fundamental to face

O maior aporte às unidades de armazenagem já registrado na Agrária
começou em 2015. A soma de todas as obras do ano oferece 331 mil

The largest addition to the warehousing
units ever recorded at Agrária started in
2015. The total of all the year’s construction
work provides for 331,000 tons – a capacity
increase of 30%. The main construction that
was started in the period, and that will be
concluded in 2016, is a grain warehouse
with a capacity for 277,000 tons at the
Guarapuava Unit, which also received 18
new silos, totaling another 54,000 tons.

O domínio das cadeias produtivas de cevada, trigo, milho
e soja, por parte da Agrária, gera maior rentabilidade
e segurança ao cooperado. As novidades tecnológicas
desenvolvidas pela Fundação Agrária de Pesquisa
Agropecuária (FAPA), as recomendações da assistência
técnica e a industrialização de commodities formam uma
estrutura robusta, que agrega valor ao esmero e à produção
no campo. Em 2015, essa cadeia produtiva demonstrou sua
especial importância diante do fenômeno El Niño, classificado
por agências internacionais como um dos mais fortes já
registrados, e que trouxe frustrações à safra de inverno.

Agrária’s command of the production
chains for barley, wheat, corn and soybeans
generates greater profitability and security
for our members. The technological advances
developed by the Agrária Foundation
for Agricultural Research (FAPA), the
recommendations given by the technical
assistance area, and the industrialization of
commodities compose a robust structure, which
adds value to the careful work and production
in the field. In 2015, this production chain
showed its special importance in the face of the
El Niño phenomenon, classified by international
agencies as one of the strongest ever recorded,
which caused partial failure of the Winter crops.

Die klimatische Instabilität bei der Ernte
2014/2015, mit einem Übermaß an
Niederschlag und Bewölkung, zeitigte
Folgen für Produktivität und Rentabilität
von Sojabohnen. Die Wetterkapriolen
beschädigten die Kornfüllung und erhöhten
die Häufigkeit und Aggressivität der
Krankheiten. Das Auftreten von Raupen
beeinflusste in einigen Anbaugebieten auch
die Sojaproduktivität. Im Gegensatz dazu
brachte die FAPA eine neue Technologie
heraus: die Sojasorte Produza IPRO.
A instabilidade climática na safra 2014/2015, com excesso
de chuva e nebulosidade, trouxe reflexos à produtividade
e rentabilidade da soja. As intempéries prejudicaram o
enchimento de grãos e elevaram a incidência e agressividade
das doenças. A ocorrência de lagartas também afetou
a produtividade da soja em algumas lavouras. Em
contrapartida, a FAPA gerou uma nova tecnologia: a
variedade de soja Produza IPRO.

The unstable climate during the 2014/2015
season, with excessive rain and cloud, affected
the productivity and profitability of soybeans.
The bad weather affected the swelling of
the grains and increased the incidence and
aggressiveness of diseases. The occurrence of
caterpillars also affected soybean productivity
in some plantations. On the other hand, FAPA

Gestützt auf die Geschichte und Nachfrage von

2015 die Schaffung einer neuen Gruppe von
technischer Assistenz und die Bereitstellung von

principalmente, de batata e tomate, a Agrária aprovou

Im Jahr 2015 begann die Einheit
Forstwirtschaft mit dem Herstellen von
Hackschnitzel aus ganzen Bäumen,
außerdem auch mit der Intensivierung zur
Mechanisierung der Aktivitäten bei der
Holzernte. Zusätzlich wurden 203 Hektar
Aufforstung durchgeführt. Die Einheit,
die nach ISO 9001:2008 zertifiziert ist,
beendete das Jahr mit dem Index Null bei
Unfällen mit Dienstausfall.
Em 2015, a Unidade Florestal iniciou
o processo de cavaqueamento de
árvores inteiras, intensificando também
a mecanização das atividades na
colheita florestal. Adicionalmente foram
implementados 203 ha de reflorestamento.
A unidade, que conquistou a certificação ISO
9001:2008, encerrou o ano com índice zero
em acidente com afastamento.

process of reducing whole trees to chips,
also intensifying the mechanization of
forest harvesting activities. In addition,
a reforestation area of 203 ha was
