The business unit “Market Communication” is responsible for the sales communication strategy. It ensures an optimal positioning of the SWISS brand, product and pricing for all target groups of the B2C and B2B segments in the home market Switzerland and in the international markets of SWISS. You are part of the “Channel Marketing” team within the “Market Communication” unit and mainly support the Sales Events Executive. The aim is to enhance the customer loyalty of B2B and B2C top clients, i.e. trade, corporates, SME’s etc. by event experiences that linger in the memory. You together with the Sales Events Executive ensure that the targets of an event are translated into a holistic event concept, which serves as the basis for a coherent event briefing to the “Sponsoring & Events” department. Apart from working in the field of Sales Events, you also perform duties with regards to the international market organizations of SWISS by ensuring the communication flow between head office and the colleagues abroad. Your Duties ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Supporting the Sales Events Executive and the Sponsoring & Events department in planning, organizing, executing and wrapping up various sales events. Preparing event briefings based on the developed concept for the Sponsoring & Events department. Taking the lead in planning, organizing, executing and wrapping up standard events such as Study Trips of the international market organizations or “Behind-the-scenes tours” in close cooperation with all internal stakeholders. Administrative tasks such as e.g. writing invitation letters, informing winners of contests, dispatch of give-aways, checking invoices… Manage and enter new Barter contracts in the legal contract system Supporting and coaching the apprentices in handling the team-mailbox and controlling the worldwide e-newsletters, guaranteeing a regular communication flow between head office and the SWISS colleagues abroad Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by manager Requirements ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Bachelor Degree with a focus in marketing or communication Very good German and English knowledge; written and spoken Experience in event planning organization desired Independent, reliable and structured way of working Ability to see and understand the big picture and complex interrelationships Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Self-initiative and high grade of motivation to proactively take over tasks Excellent communication skills Job location: Zurich Kloten Duration of internship: 6 months Salary: CHF 2'000 per month Starting date: April 01, 2016 or upon agreement We are looking forward to receiving your application.
