Invitation Press Conference Decision Competition

Gropiusallee 38, 06846 Dessau-Roßlau
The panel of jurors will be in session on 3 September 2015, the rankings
will be released to the press on 4 September 2015 and a press conference
will be held on 7 September to allow the award winners to take part.
In its function as the building contractor and promoter of the Bauhaus Museum Dessau Architectural Design Competition, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation is
extending an invitation to attend the presentation of the winning design
proposals during a press conference.
The building contractor, represented by Dr Claudia Perren (director of the
Bauhaus Dessau Foundation) and the jury chairman, Prof Wolfgang Lorch (architect, Darmstadt), will be presenting the jury’s decision with Stephan
Dorgerloh (Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs of the state of SaxonyAnhalt) and Peter Kuras (mayor of the city of Dessau-Roßlau and co-promoter)
representing the jurors of the material prizes.
The architectural design competition for the Bauhaus Museum Dessau is an
open international two-stage competition that is being carried out anonymously. The jury has selected 30 of the initial 831 entries of the first
stage for the final second stage. Submissions closed on 31 July 2015.
