Hoteles solidarios
os hoteles son una nueva
e interesante plataforma
de concienciación sobre la
protección y defensa de derechos de la infancia. Desde
IJNICEF se propone que el turista que
visite alguno de sus "hoteles amigos"
realice una pequeña donación, incluso
de t euro. Aunque resulte increíble,
esta microdonación contribuye significativamente a mejorar la situación de
niños de todo el mundo. Por ejemplo,
sumando lb euros, dos niños de Benín,
víctimas del trabajo infantil, pueden
recibir tratamiento médico, y con So
euros, trece niños de Vietnam víctimas
de abuso y explotación sexual pueden
recibir atenciones médicas, alojamiento
temporal y asesoramiento.
Este movimiento solidario se ha iniciado en Baleares,y se expande globalmente. La Federación Empresarial
Hotelera de Mallorca (FEHM) colabora
con la causa,a la que ya se han sumado
grandes cadenaspresentes en la isla
como Meliá Hotels International, MAC
Hotels o Sercotel,ypróximamente
esperan adherirse Iberostar y Grupotel.
Otros hoteles de Mallorca participantes
son Hotel Palacio Ca Sa Galesa,Garden
Hotels, EsperanzaHotels, Alcudia Pins
y Las Gaviotas, entre otros.
