Botaniker Charles Telfair, der diesen
Bereich der Insel nicht umsonst „das kleine
Eden von Bel Ombre“ nannte. Im Zuge dieser
Bezeichnung wurde das Resort gestaltet: Das
direkt am unberührten Sandstrand von Domaine
de Bel Ombre gelegene Anwesen besteht aus
158 stilvollen Zimmern und Suiten, welche vom
Mobiliar bis hin zur Dekoration an die Herrenhäuser der Kolonialzeit erinnern. Das Deluxe

Zimmer variiert zwischen 54 bis 62 m² und ist
wahlweise mit Meer- oder Strandblick buchbar.
Alle Varianten verfügen über modernste technische Ausstattung und eine geschmackvolle
Einrichtung aus Bad mit Wanne und Dusche, Klimaanlage, Minibar sowie Balkon oder Terrasse.
Die Junior Suite ist besonders für Flitterwöchner
geeignet, da sie sich über großzügige 81 m²
erstreckt und neben exklusiver Ausstattung

Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort bietet das ganz
besondere Erlebnis: einmal wöchentlich findet
hier ein afrikanischer Abend statt, bei welchem
das frisch getraute Paar zu authentisch afrikanischen Klängen am Lagerfeuer taufrischen Fisch
und Gemüse aus dem angrenzenden Frédérica
Naturreservat genießt. Das Coast liegt, wie der
Name vermuten lässt, direkt am Strand inmitten
des C Beach Club und verwöhnt mit mediterranen und italienischen Köstlichkeiten. Im
Gin’ja, am Strand des Heritage Le Telfair gelegen,
herrscht eine besonders elegante Atmosphäre.

DAS Highlight der Restaurants ist allerdings das
Château de Bel Ombre: das aus dem 19. Jahrhundert stammende Herrenhaus ist umgeben
von großen, ehrwürdigen Bäumen und einem
französisch angelegten Garten. Hier haben nur
Erwachsene Zutritt, die authentische mauritische
Küche serviert bekommen. Für gemütliche Stunden und Erfrischungen am Tag stehen weiterhin
zahlreiche Bars zur freien Wahl.

takes its name from the famous botanist
Charles Telfair, who did not name this
part of the island “the little Eden of Bel Ombre“
for nothing. The resort took its cue from the
name: lying directly on the untouched sandy
beach of Domaine de Bel Ombre, it consists of
158 stylish rooms and suites, the furnishings and
decor of which evoke the manor houses of the
colonial era. A deluxe room varies in size from
54 to 62 m² and can be booked with a choice of
ocean or beach view. All variants boast state-ofthe-art equipment and tasteful fixtures inclu-

conditioning, mini-bar as well as balcony or
terrace. The Junior Suite is ideally suited for
honeymooners, as it covers a spacious 81 m²,
