REGISTRATION The registration opens on Sunday, September 6 at 10:00 hrs. Plan to arrive early in order to avoid waiting times during peak times! The opening hours of the registration desk are as follows Sunday, September 6 10.00 - 20.00 hrs Monday, September 7 07.00 - 19.30 hrs Tuesday, September 8 07.00 - 19.30 hrs Wednesday, September 9 07.00 - 16.30 hrs Please be aware that in case you registered in time for the reduced rate or the regular rate but the payment had not been credited to our account by August 23, 2015 this has automatically caused an increase of the registration fee to the onsite fee. Please settle any open balance at the “Unsettled Payments” counter in the registration area. In order to avoid delays at the registration desk, please make sure to bring this confirmation with you. If you completed the bank transaction after August 23, 2015 and still have an open balance in the payment information above, it is essential to show a proof of payment at the registration desk in order to avoid misunderstandings (payments from outside the EU sometimes take up to 14 days). Please do not reply to this message if you already performed the payment, but bring a proof of payment to the unsettled payments desk. Please make sure to check the received congress material for completeness immediately after your registration, as later claims cannot be accepted. The U1 will take you to the congress venue, the Austria Center Vienna which is just a few minutes’ walk from the stop “Kaisermühlen VIC. To reach the ACV from the city centre (Stephansplatz) take the underground line U1 (red). Get off at “Vienna International Centre/Kaisermühlen” and take the exit marked Schüttaustraße. Some of the outstanding Austrian immunologists - from Karl Landsteiner to Clemens von Pirquet including their colleagues and contemporaries - will be commemorated in this exhibition, which has been curated by Johann Eibl, Othmar Förster and Winfried F. Pickl. Moreover, a short outlook describing major immunology research centers in the Vienna area in the 21st century will be provided. ECI Bright Sparks Pub Crawl (Registration is possible at the Onsite Registration Desk) Sunday, September 7 | 20.15 | Meeting Point: Austria Center Vienna, Foyer Hall E, Level 0 The ECI 2015 Bright Sparks Pub Crawl connects international Early Career Scientists with their Austrian colleagues to foster networking between the future experts of the discipline. Since networking, apart from many other skills, is an important ingredient of a successful scientific career, ECI offers an informal platform for the facile exchange of thoughts, experiences and perspectives within the community of Early Career Scientists. Participants will receive a coupon together with their congress registration stating the assigned group, meeting time and meeting point. Participants are divided into groups with approx. 30 people and two local hosts. Each group will be assigned to two different Pubs. The first location is exclusively for the assigned group whereas the second location is a melting pot for all groups. No registration fee is charged but all costs (e.g. public transport, drinks, food etc.) have to be covered individually.
