Drettmann Motor Yachts (DMY) and the Drettmann Explorer Yachts (DEY). In keeping with our motto that

The hull and superstructure of our 32 m Explorer Yacht have meanwhile been joined up, the keel for yacht
numbers 2 and 3 will be laid in the very near future. Last year, the Drettmann Brokerage sector found new
owners for almost 100 vessels – from dinghy to mega yacht.
And for the first time in the history of the company, we had the honour of delivering yachts to the other
side of the pond: two Elegance Yachts were welcomed by their new owners in South and North America.

The new Drettmann Explorer line has been designed for those who not only appreciate cruising and urbane lifestyle at select ports, but also relish the adventurous aspects of sailing. With her classically
compact exterior but extraordinarily spacious interior, this tardis of a yacht is ideal for skippers who wish to indulge their sporting inclinations to the full.
The striking appearance alone makes this vessel predestined for voyages of discovery on the high seas, a luxury base for diving sessions and jet-ski excursions. Accordingly, she offers ample room for tender
and surfboards, diving equipment and water toys. The strong masculine silhouette, accentuated by sturdy side straps, underlines the distinctive look of the 27 to 45-metre yachts. But despite all their

Drettmann Motoryachten stand dieser Gedanke Pate, um aus dem Gewohnten etwas ganz Ungewöhnliches
zu entwickeln.
Und die Fragen? Waren im Kern eine kritische Bestandsaufnahme: Wie sehen 27- bis 37-Meter Yachten
heute aus? Was könnte daran besser aussehen und besser funktionieren? Und vor allem: Wie haben sich die
Wünsche und Anforderungen von Eignern verändert – und was muss sich demzufolge an unserer

Herangehensweise ändern? Dass es gelang, auf diese Fragen schlüssige Antworten zu finden, lässt schon
der erste Blick auf die Ergebnisse erahnen. Dabei fällt auf, dass die neuen Linien auf ein klassisches
Gestaltungsmerkmal verzichten, nämlich die deutliche Trennung von voluminösem Rumpf und Aufbauten.
Dies zugunsten einer organischen Formgebung, mit der die Yacht eine künstlerische, skulpturale Anmutung
erhält. Ein Gewinn an Eleganz, der jedoch nicht mit einem Verlust an Raum einher geht. Im Gegenteil: Das
Raumangebot im Inneren ist Dank einer intelligenten Aufteilung geradezu verblüffend. In Zusammenklang

You can only expect new answers if you ask new questions. That was the basic idea that led to the
development of the new Drettmann Motor Yachts, in which we took the usual as a starting point for the
creation of something totally unusual.
As for the questions we asked: they fundamentally involved taking a critical look at what was already
available. What do today's 20 to 37-metre yachts look like? What could make them look better and
function better? And above all: how have the wishes and demands of the owners changed – and how
do we consequently have to change our approach? Just a quick glance at the outcome immediately
reveals that we came up with convincing answers to all these questions. One of the prime innovations is
that the new lines have said goodbye to a classic design feature, namely the clear distinction between
voluminous hull and superstructures. This has been waived in favor of an organic shape which gives the
yacht an artistic, almost sculptural appearance. Added elegance, but not at the cost of space. On the
contrary: an intelligent layout means the interior is actually astonishingly roomy. Combined with interior
design that is geared to clarity, finely tuned color schemes and simple yet surprisingly varied purism,
this all adds up to a completely new yacht feeling – one of being on a far larger class of yacht.
That is a decidedly good feeling – and one that is intensified by a number of highly interesting and
thoroughly unusual features. The idea, for example, of not confining owner and guests to the hull, but
placing them as close to the water as possible led to a totally new solution for this class of yacht. A beach club
at the stern with a bar, retractable swimming platforms at the sides for bathing, or simply chilling right
beside the water. Or a main saloon that is open on three sides, cleverly and comfortably abolishing the
boundaries between interior and exterior. „These new comfort zones provide endless new opportunities,
above all, direct access to the sea. This enhances the quality of all these things that make life on board
interesting – whether swimming, diving, jet-skiing, dining, partying or simply sunbathing,“ sums up Albert
Drettmann. The enthusiastic costumer reaction was ample proof that this description of the DMY line is no
exaggeration.

Drettmann Yachts bietet eine große Palette von Gebrauchtbooten, Technischen
Service und ausführliche Beratung. Nicht nur in der Badewanne, sondern auf dem
eigenen Boot Kapitän sein: Für immer mehr Menschen ist das ein Traum.
Häufig sogar ein erfüllbarer, wenn man sich denn für ein Boot aus zweiter Hand
entscheidet. Eine Entscheidung, die die Bremer Drettmann Yachts ihren Kunden

Seit vielen Jahren verkauft as Unternehmen unter Leitung von Claudia und Albert
Drettmann gute, geprüfte Gebrauchtboote – vom Schlauchboot bis zur Yacht – zu
attraktiven Preisen. In einem Jahr wechselten bereits 60 Boote den Besitzer. Ein Run,
der allerdings nicht nur preisliche Gründe hat. Es sind vor allem Engagement und
umfassender Service rund ums Boot, den Drettmann-Kunden schätzen. Das können
Kleinstreparaturen oder Refi ts auf höchstem Niveau sein. Mit langjähriger
Erfahrung, viel maritimem Know-how und einem Gespür für den Kundenwunsch
verkauft Ehepaar Drettmann Boote, die zuvor im eigenen Unternehmen technisch
und optisch wieder auf neuesten Stand gebracht wurden.
