Im Wandel
Neue Arbeitsfelder und -kollektive entstehen immer dort, wo sie gebraucht
werden. Wir freuen uns über Zuwachs in dem Organisationsteam durch André
oder neu entstehende Arbeitskollektive wie das »Welcoming Collective«, das
partizipative Formate und die junge Truppe des »Welcoming Collective«
das partizipative Formate für die Lobby entwickelt und neuen Hoteliers
den Einstieg in den Kosmos erleichtet.
Während kleine »Delegationen« auf Vernetzungsreisen in Hamburg, Kumanovo, Prag und Stuttgart unterwegs sind, überarbeiten unterdessen Daheimgebliebene unsere Internetpräsenz, schicken neue Seiten aus Lobby und
Küche in die Öffentlichkeit, gestalten Workshops mit Friedensforscher*innen
und denken räumliche Interventionen für den Sommer.

Maël and Mélanie were doing pretty much the same thing
when they met. They plucked strings. She has played the
harp and he twangs an electric guitar. The combination
wasn’t a sure thing. Neither rock, world or folk, the sound
of L'Etrangleuse has built bridges. L’Etrangleuse would
now like to share its taste in playing. Harp and guitar: An
interesting alliance, creative constraints and a constant
challenge.

The Grandhotel opens its doors especially wide and invites you to join in for a discovery tour through the »social plastic«. Between 11am and 6pm you can visit or get to
know this universal artwork in the Augsburg cathedral quarter. Music & encounters, insights & visions, good conversations and culinary goodies of a cosmopolitan cuisine
are waiting for you. The program details are a surprise – as we all know, the clocks
are ticking differently at the Grandhotel Cosmopolis.

Hereinspaziert! Zweimal jährlich öffnet das Springergäßchen 5 seine Türen
ganz besonders weit und läd zu einer grenzenüberwindenden Reise durch
die Soziale Plastik ein. Den ganzen Tag über könnt ihr, das Gesamtkunstwerk im Domviertel näher oder gar erstmalig kennenlernen: Werkschau &
Verkostung, Musik & Bewegung, Gespräch & Begegnung. Das Programm
wird vor Ort bekanntgegeben. Kommt vorbei!
Maël und Mélanie haben ungefähr das Gleiche
getan, als sie sich kennengelernt haben. Sie haben
Saiten gezupft. Sie spielt Harfe und er E-Gitarre.
Sie haben Neues kreiert. Weder Rock, Weltmusik
noch Folk, ihr Sound steht irgendwo dazwischen.
L'Ètrangleuse möchte jetzt ihre Musik teilen. Harfe und Gitarre – eine interessante Verbindung mit
ständig neuen Herausforderungen.

A Glezele Vayn
Um ein großes Fahrrad herum erzählen Spoke‘n’
Chain die Geschichte von Aaron Errant, einem
irrenden, radelnden Ritter der sich aufmacht
um seinen Träumen Flügel zu verleihen… Kevin
Dennis und Sylvia Zidek alias Spoke‘n’Chain
haben selbst vor drei Jahren ihren Träumen
Flügel verliehen und sich aufgemacht um auf
ihren Rädern zu leben und Theater zu spielen.
60 min. Mit Pause. Für jung und alt.
Musikalischer Entdeckergeist, schräger Humor
und unverwüstliche Spielfreude vereinen sich
mit Schärfe, jiddischer Melancholie und allgäuer
Bergkäs. Die Musik stammt aus den Ländern des
Balkans, den jiddischen Schtetln Osteuropas und
den Alpen. Das Publikum wird über die Donau
zum schwarzen Meer verschifft – eine vergnügliche
Mischung aus Tradition und Eigenwille macht den
besonderen Reiz von A Glezele Vayn aus.
Around a big bicycle, Spoke’n’Chain tell the story of
Aaron Errant, a cycling knight on right and wrong paths
who sets out to make his dreams fly… Kevin Dennis and
Sylvia Zidek aka Spoke’n’Chain themselves made their
dream come true three years ago and set out to live on
their bicycles and do theater shows. 60min. One break.
For young and old guests.
Musical explorer's spirit mixes with weird humor and a
neverending joy in playing, wit, yiddish melancolia and
Alpine cheese. These guys' music is rooted in balcan
countries, yiddish towns in Eastern Europe and the Alps.
The listeners are shipped to the Black Sea via the Danube
river – an entertaining mix of tradition and individuality
is what makes A Glezele Vayn so unique.

Raphael Kestler Band
Hinter Cosmono verbirgt sich der Kölner Produzent
und Songwriter Frank Schönhofer (mit Band). Im
Alter von 12 Jahren greift Schönhofer zum ersten
Mal zur Gitarre, um die Songs der 90er zu entdecken – Britpop und Grunge. Gleichzeitig verbringt
er aber auch viel Zeit mit dem Computer, programmiert Spiele und experimentiert mit Audioprogrammen. Dazu mischt sich ein Gesang, der in
seiner Natürlichkeit an Notwists Frontmann
Markus Acher oder Eliott Smith erinnert.
Aus gutem Grund ins Universum getaucht. Der
Sänger und Songschreiber Raphael Kestler sucht
mit seiner Bänd mal ein kühles Blau, den Traumweltraum oder dichten Qualm. Es wird sehr
anders klingen, als gewöhnlich. Freude auf die
Klänge von Flo (Drums), Ilja (E-Gitarre), Agnes
(Klarinette) und Sven (Bass).
The man behind Cosmono is the Cologne-based producer
and songwriter Frank Schönhofer (with band). At the age
of 12, Schönhofer gets hold of a guitar for the first time,
he discovers guitar-playing and the britpop and grunge
songs of the 90s and intensifies his computer skills. These
skills are now combined with vocals that remind us of
The Notwist's vocalist Markus Acher or of Eliott Smith.

Diving into the universe for a reason: The singer-songwriter
Raphael Kestler and his band are looking for a cool ble
this time, the space of dreams or thick smoke. This is
going to sound a little differently than usually. Raphael
is joined by Flo (drums), Ilja (E guitar), Agnes (clarinet)
und Sven (bass).

Platonick Dive
Platonick Dive ist ein Postrock/Psychedelic-Trio
aus zwei Gitarristen, einem Drummer und reichlich
Elektronik. Seit 2010 veröffentlichten Gabriele
Centelli, Marco Figliè und Jonathan Nelli zwei
Alben und tourten durch die Clubs, waren unter
anderem vor einem Jahr auf dem South By Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin zu Gast und jetzt
auch im Grandhotel Cosmopolis. Wir freuen uns
auf ihre elektronisch-instrumentalen Klangwolken.
Platonick Dive is a postrock/psychedelic trio consisting of
two guitarists, a drummer and lots of electronic elements.
Since 2010, Gabriele Centelli, Marco Figliè and Jonathan
Nelli have made two albums and been touring through
clubs and festivals. Now they are coming to Grandhotel
Cosmopolis. We are looking forward to their electronocinstrumental sound clouds.

als Hip-Hop DJ aktiv und hat einige Mixtapes
rausgebracht – immer gemäß dem Motto: All
Directions. Er ist bekannt als vielseitiger Musiklover und freut sich heute als Gast »wildstylisch«
deep, down und dubios auflegen zu können. Genau das Richtige für »chill deinen nächsten«!
