Waiver took part in Rio Open 2015 carrying a total of approximately
3 tons of Broadcasting Material from Spain, the UK and Australia.
Most of this material will be sent to Miami Open that will be held
next March 23.
This year's event was attended by players like Rafael Nadal who
ended up being eliminated in the semifinals and his compatriot
David Ferrer, who gave no chance to the Italian Fabio Fognini and
won the title of Rio Open 2015 with 2 to 0, with partial of 6/2 and 6/3,
after 1 hour and 23 minutes.

HONG KONG

The Italian Sara Errani showed she was the best player
of the tournament and won this edition of Rio Open. In
the decision, Errani defeated the Slovak Anna Schmiedlova
by 2 sets to 0, with partial 7/6 (2), 6-1.
Art Basel Honk Kong (March 15 to 17) shows squarely in
the center of Asia’s international art scene, offers a
premier platform for showing works from across the
globe. Underlining its commitment to the region, half of
the participating galleries once again have exhibition
spaces in Asia and Asia-Pacific.
UFC PORTO ALEGRE

For the first time, Porto Alegre has hosted the
UFC at a large and very successful event!
For collectors, artists, curators, critics and Art lovers - Art
Basel promises to be dynamic and a great experience that
only this event and city can provide. The event will host
galleries from around the world including the New Yorker
Lehmann Maupin that imported had Waiver Arts import
Brazilian artist Adriana Varejao’s “White Round Monochrome “.
BRIT FLOYD

The UFC Fight Night took place last February 22 at
Ginásio Gigantinho in Porto Alegre and the tickets were
sold out.
In the main event, the Brazilian fighter Antonio Pezão
collided with American Frank Mir. Antonio Pezão was
defeated by knockout in the first round.
Waiver transported two containers with the Octagon
and office material, as well as seven transport trucks
carrying the framework for the lighting system and screens.

Brit Floyd, The World's Greatest Pink Floyd Show,
performed at Citibank Hall in São Paulo on February 2 to
launch its Space and Time World Tour 2015, their most
ambitious show to date.
Celebrating five decades of Pink Floyd (from their creation
in 1965 right through to the release of their brand new
album, The Endless River), this amazing new show
includes performances from all Pink Floyd's biggest
selling albums, including The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish
You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and The Division Bell
plus a host of other Pink Floyd musical surprises.
Waiver was in charge of the import of the band’s
backline: 540Kg. The load was reexported to Mexico.

DA VINCI THE EXHIBITION

Da Vinci The Exhibition is a unique exhibition in Brazil. It
presents the work and the life of Leonardo Da Vinci through
photos and texts, high quality reproductions of The Da Vinci
Code, anatomical and Renaissance art prints, plus an
interactive area with 44 pieces in original size. The exhibition
will be open to visitors from February 24 to April 14, at Itaú
Power Shopping Center in Contagem - MG.
Waiver was responsible for the temporary import of the
exhiobition, from Uruguay, a total of 3,900Kg in the beginning
of February.
The company Exhibition Centre, responsible for bringing the
exhibition to Brazil, reports that from Minas Gerais, the
exhibition will be moved to Brasilia, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and
Campinas in 2015. The exhibition has been in Las Vegas,
Manila, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Santiago de Chile, Quito,
Bogota and Montevideo.
RINGO STARR

SKOL SUMMER ON

Ringo Starr, the former Beatle, drummer, singer and his
All Starr Band came to Brazil for the third time. He will
perform at HSBC Brazil in Sao Paulo February 26 and at
Vivo Rio, Rio de Janeiro on February 27.
Ringo usually performs accompanied by super bands
sucha as, the guitarist Steve Lukather, Toto and
keyboardist Gregg Rolie, former Santana. Waiver was
responsible for the customs clearance and the transport
of 4,268Kg of equipment from New York, USA. The show
also will pass by Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Mexico.
Waiver held the temporary admission of one HC 40
container, equipment for the Skol Summer On Festival
that happened in Recife - PE, Arraial D'Ajuda- BA, Rio de
Janeiro, Maresias - SP and Florianópolis - SC from
January 3 to 31.

DJ TIESTO SPECTACLE

The Viña del Mar International Song Festival (Spanish:
Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar) is a
music festival that is considered the best and biggest in
Latin America and the most important musical event in
the Americas which is held annually on the 3rd week of
February since 1960.
Tijs Michiel Verwest is a Dutch DJ and record producer.
He was in South America with his world tour “A Town
Called Paradise”.
Waiver held the temporary export of 14,339Kg with the
company's sound equipment GABISOM, to be used in
the 55th edition of the festival, from February 12 to 27,
in Viña Del Mar, Chile.
Waiver was responsible for the temporary export of
700Kg of video equipment Led of the company
Spectacle exclusively for the show in Asuncion in
Paraguay, which was held on February 19.
BALLET COPPELIA

The Associação Amigos do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro
(Association of Friends of the Municipal Theater of Rio de
Janeiro), counted on Waiver’s expertise to export the stage
deisgn and the costumes of the show "Ballet Copelia" to
Uruguay.
2,690Kg of material for the presentations was transported.
The Ballet will be performed from March 19 to April 2, 2015, at
the National Sodre Auditorium in Montevideo.
Coppélia is a comic ballet originally choreographed by Arthur
Saint-Léon to the music of Léo Delibes, with libretto by Charles
Nuitter. Nuitter's libretto and mise-en-scène was based upon
two stories by E. T. A. Hoffmann: Der Sandmann (The Sandman)
and Die Puppe (The Doll). In Greek, κοπελιά means girl, young
lady. Coppélia premiered on 25 May 1870 at the Théâtre
Impérial l'Opéra, with the 16-year-old Giuseppina Bozzacchi in
the principal role of Swanhilde. Its first flush of success was
interrupted by the Franco-Prussian War and the Siege of Paris
(which also led to the early death of Giuseppina Bozzacchi, on
her 17th birthday), but eventually it became the most-performed
ballet at the Opéra.
