CELEBRATING THE SUMMER
E
verything we love about Portugal was at the centre of the annual Vale do Lobo Summer Party
celebrations this year, with guests
able to enjoy the very best of Portugal during the glamorous event.
Hundreds of property owners and
invited guests marked the summer
season in style with the summer
party which took place on 8th August.
The Parque do Golfe was transformed with decorations, lighting
and an homage to Portugal in the
form of a traditional house front,
complete with calçada flooring and
traditional tiles, taking centre stage
for photo opportunities.
Guests were met by a Fado singer
and then led along the blue carpet and into the beautiful gardens
where they were then treated to
a spectacular live performance
of classic hits by On the Soul, followed by a firework display and
then a magical performance from
DJ Ravin which saw guests dancing
into the night.
The eagerly anticipated event was
a chance for the resort community
to come together under the stars in
a stylish setting synonymous with
Vale do Lobo and to enjoy a fantastic reception.
The party was also an opportunity
for Vale do Lobo CEO Diogo Gaspar Ferreira to thank the property
owners for their unwavering support in creating a luxury resort unlike any other.

udo aquilo que amamos em Portugal foi tema de inspiração na
Festa de Verão de Vale do Lobo deste
ano, brindando os convidados com
uma noite de glamour, verdadeiramente memorável.
Centenas de proprietários e alguns
convidados especiais marcaram presença neste grandioso evento no passado dia 8 de Agosto, numa celebração única do Verão no resort.
A requintada decoração, iluminação
temática e uma imponente fachada
de uma típica casa Portuguesa como
cenário de boas-vindas converteram
o espaço do Parque do Golfe num ambiente mágico de verdadeiro tributo a
Portugal.
Após uma curta viagem num dos carismáticos Tuk Tuks, os convidados foram
conduzidos pelo tapete azul até à entrada da festa onde a fadista Argentina
os aguardava para a tradicional foto de
boas-vindas junto à casa Portuguesa.
A noite prosseguiu com uma selecção
musical de excepção que contou com
a actuação da banda “On the Soul” se-
guida do espectáculo de pirotecnia e
com os contagiantes ritmos de dança
pelo DJ Ravin até de madrugada.
A tão aguardada Festa de Verão de
Vale do Lobo proporcionou assim uma
nova oportunidade para a comunidade do resort se divertir, partilhar e
brindar ao seu exclusivo estilo de vida
numa grandiosa e memorável noite temática intitulada “I T Portugal”!
O Presidente do Conselho de Administração de Vale do Lobo, Diogo Gaspar
Ferreira, aproveitou ainda esta ocasião
para agradecer a todos os proprietários a sua presença e apoio na criação
deste resort de luxo tão exclusivo.

POA AGM AND INTERNATIONAL EVENING
M
embers of the Property Owners Association (POA) will
be holding their Annual General
Meeting on 8th October from 15:00h
in the Vale do Lobo Auditorium.
This is a chance for members of
the POA to meet up and discuss
their views and suggestions and
also to meet new and existing
members.
Every year there is a very high
turn out to the AGM which shows
the continued level of dedication of property owners who are
always working to maintain the
high standards of the resort.
For new members this is a fantastic opportunity to meet with the
wider Vale do Lobo community
and to discover more about the
resort as a whole.
Full details of the POA AGM agenda will be sent to members before
the event.
After the AGM the annual POA
dinner will take place at Spikes and
details for this will shortly be made
available to Members and placed
on the POA website and on the notice board at the Club of Clubs.

RINGS SCULPTURE EXHIBITION

isit the Vale do Lobo Art Gallery to view an inspiring new
collection of sculptures from Portuguese artist Paulo Neves.
The RINGS series of sculptures features around 20 pieces of work all
made from wood and exploring
the link between nature and art in
this bold and vibrant exhibition,
brought to the gallery as a result
of a partnership between the prestigious São Mamede Gallery and
Vale do Lobo.
The sculptures from Paulo Neves
will be on display at the gallery located at the Parque do Golfe until
4th November. The gallery is open
Monday – Friday from 10:00h –
19:00h. Admission is free.

intitulada “Anéis”, reúne cerca de 20

A exposição de escultura “Anéis” de

grandes temas clássicos numa verdadeira Jornada Austríaca pela formação Quarteto Sul’Arte, e que promete

pelas 19:30h, no Vale do Lobo Auditorium.

desta promissora formação musical
– Quarteto Sul’Arte – num emocionante concerto de temas e peças intemporais de Joseph Haydn, Mozart e
Franz Schubert, desenvolvido para os
entusiastas da variante erudita e do

Formado em 2013, o Quarteto de
cordas Sul’Arte é composto por músicos profissionais a trabalhar no Algarve, contando com José Gomes e

performance by the Sul’Arte string
quartet, taking place in the Vale do
Lobo Auditorium on 19th September.
Discover some of the best pieces
by Joseph Haydn, Mozart and
Franz Schubert with the Quarteto
Sul’Arte, during an evening dedicated to the Austrian greats and designed to appeal to classical music
fans and to those eager to explore
this beautiful genre further.
The Sul’Arte string quartet was
formed in 2013 and is made up of
professional musicians working in
the Algarve with José Gomes and
Helena Duarte on the violin, Ângela
Silva on the viola and Mikhail Shumov on cello.

to the stage during the upcoming “Class’ic!” performance taking
place on 17th October in the Vale do
Lobo Auditorium.
Soprano Carla Pontes will be
joined by Ute Kerner on Violin,
Sunita Mamtani on cello and
Cristiana Silva on piano for a performance featuring classic pieces
from Chapi, Puccini, Léhar, Gershwin, Verdi, Piazzola and Strauss.
The group, who formed thanks to
their shared love of music and a
desire to share classical music with
new audiences, will be showing the
versatility of classical music in this
concert designed for all music lovers.
