Vorwort
Oft wird beim Kauf einer Tampondruckmaschine nicht an das damit verbundene notwendige
Tampondruck-Zubehör gedacht. Schnell wird vergessen, dass noch ein paar einfache, aber wichtige Dinge
zum Drucken benötigt werden, wie z. B. Tampons, Klischees oder Farben. Aber auch andere Utensilien,
wie z. B. Becher zum Anmischen der Farben, Dosierflaschen für Verdünner, Spachtel oder Rührhölzer zum
Anrühren der Farben, die einem die Arbeit an der Tampondruckmaschine erleichtern, geraten oft in
Vergessenheit. Dann heißt es: „Ach, wenn ich doch jetzt dieses oder jenes hätte.“
Wer reinigt den Tampon während der Arbeit mit einfachem Klebeband, anstatt mit schädlicher
Verdünnung?!
Oder wer denkt nach erledigter Arbeit daran, den eingesetzten Tampon mit Pflegeöl einzureiben, damit er
länger hält?!
Wer setzt schon zur Reinigung der farbführenden Teile umweltfreundliche Reinigungsmittel ein, und wer
verfügt schon am Tampondruck-Arbeitsplatz über ein effizientes Reinigungsgerät?! Wie z. B. unsere

When buying a pad printing machine the therewith connected and necessary pad printing accessories are
very often not taken into consideration. It is often forgotten that a few simple but important articles are
required before one can actually start printing, such as, for example, pads, plates or ink. But also other
utensils, such as, for example, beakers for mixing ink, measuring glasses for thinner, spatula or wooden
stirring tools for preparing the ink, and all of which facilitate easier operation of a pad printing machine, are
also often forgotten. In such circumstances one often says, „Oh if only I had this or that“.
Who cleans the pad during printing work with simple adhesive-tape instead of harmful thinner?
Or who, after work is finished, remembers to treat the pad with pad preservation oil in order to ensure longer service life?
Who employs environmentally friendly cleaning agents for parts in contact with cleaning ink, and who
makes use of an efficient cleaning apparatus at their pad printing work station, like, for example, our

Klischéeherstellungshinweise für fotopolymere Tampondruckplatten
1 Filmherstellung
1.1
Für den Tampondruck (indirekter Tiefdruck) wird ein seitenverkehrtes Filmpositiv als Kopiervorlage
für die Plattenherstellung verwendet. Seitenverkehrt heißt: lesbar von der glänzenden Filmrückseite,
bzw. die Beschichtung muss unten sein.
1.2
Bei dem Filmpositiv muss die Filmschichtseite mattiert sein. Die Filme müssen mit einer optischen Dichte
von mehr als log. 3.50 entwickelt werden d.h., die Filme müssen eine gute Deckung im Motiv aufweisen.
Ungenügend geschwärzte Positive können vom UV-Licht durchdrungen werden, was zu unerwünschter
Polymerisation der Klischeeplatte führt.
1.3
Die Positive dürfen an den transparenten Stellen eine max. Dichte von Log.0.06 nicht überschreiten. Höhere
Dichten, die als Grau- oder Gelbschleier erscheinen, ergeben Fehlergebnisse bei der Plattenbelichtung.
1.4
Mechanische Beschädigungen des Films und Schmutzeinschlüsse beim Belichten führen zu Fehlkopien
und sind daher unbedingt zu vermeiden.
1.5
Um eine densitometrische Kontrolle des Kopierfilms zu ermöglichen, ist ein vollgeschwärztes, ungerastertes Kontrollfeld (mindestens 5 x 5 mm) außerhalb des Druckbereiches zu empfehlen.
1.6
Die Filmgröße sollte mindestens so groß wie das Klischee sein, da Filmkanten mitbelichtet werden. Auch
aus diesem Grund sollte ein Glattfilm verwendet werden ( Keine Montagen ).
2 Raster (Rundpunktraster)
2.1
Der Einsatz von Rundpunktrastern garantiert einen ausreichend hohen Farbübertrag und einen maximalen
Tonwertumfang.
2.2
Die Wahl des Rasters ist entscheidend für das spätere Druckergebnis. Folgende Angaben sind einzuhalten:

Um ein Herausziehen der Farbe aus den farbführenden Vertiefungen durch die Rakel zu vermeiden, werden
alle Motive mit einem Rundpunktraster aufgerastert. (Die Ausnahme ist die Wiedergabe von sehr feinen
Punkten, Schriften oder Lineaturen, welche ohne Rasterung gedruckt werden können. Außerdem wird mit
der Länge der Rasterbelichtung die Tiefe der farbführenden Näpfchen beeinflusst.
2.2.2
Für die Wiedergabe von Volltonflächen hat sich ein Rastertonwert von ca. 90% Flächendeckung im
Positiv bewährt.
2.2.3
Die Rastenweite richtet sich nach den Druckparametern (Motiv, Farbe, zu bedruckendes Material,
gewünschte Näpfchentiefe etc.) und reicht von 54 - 150 L/pcm
Raster-Richtwerte
54-er Raster für großen Flächendruck
80-er Raster für Flächen mit starkem Farbauftrag
90 - 100-er Raster für durchschnittliche Drucke
120 - 150-er Raster für feinste Elemente/Schriften/Zeichen
Raster %-Wert:
z.B. 90% = 90% geschwärzt und 10% transparent
Bei der Wiedergabe von ein- bzw. mehrfarbigen Halbtonmotiven müssen die Rastergrenzwerte durch
Drucktests unter den gegebenen Bedingungen ermittelt werden.
3 Belichtungsgerät
3.1
Das Belichtungsgerät sollte mit einem der folgenden UV-Röhrentypen ausgestattet sein: Philips TL 09 N
oder Philips TLK 010 oder Sylvania BL 366
Das Belichtungsgerät sollte über ein Vakuum vefügen, um einen optimalen Kontakt des Filmes zum
Klischee herzustellen.

4 Lagerung u. Verarbeitungsbedingungen
Lagerung u. Archivierung: Rel. Luftfeuchtigkeit ca. 50 - 60%, Temperatur ca. 20 - 22°C
Belichtungsraum vor UV-Strahlen schützen (Gelblicht)!
Bei Beachtung aller hier aufgeführten Punkte haben Sie die optimalen Voraussetzungen für eine
einwandfreie Plattenkopie im Tampondruck geschaffen.
5
Klischéeherstellung
5.1
Schutzfolie vom Klischée entfernen
5.2
Film mit mattierter Schicht nach unten auflegen (Schicht auf Schicht).
5.3
Unter Vakuum belichten. Mechanische Beschädigung des Films sowie Schmutzeinflüsse beim Belichten
führen zu Fehlkopien und sind daher unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Bei Verwendung von wasserauswaschbaren Klischées ca 30 sec.belichten
Bei Verwendung von alkoholauswaschbaren Klischées ca 180 sec. belichten
Diese Zeiten können variieren je nach Belichter bzw. eingebauten Lampen.
5.4
Film abnehmen
Klischéeplatten, die gerastert werden (Rasterbelichtung), mit Rundpunktraster (54 bis 150-er Raster) erneut
belichten.
Bei wasserauswaschbaren Klischées je nach gewünschter Tiefe ca. 30 sec
Bei alkoholauswaschbaren Klischées je nach gewünschter Tiefe ca. 120-180 sec.
(Für die Wiedergabe von Volltonflächen hat sich ein Rastertonwert von 90% Flächendeckung im
Filmpositiv bewährt.)
5.6
Bei wasserauswaschbaren Klischées mit einer Wassertemperatur von 20-25° C mit einem Auswaschklotz
auswaschen, bei niedrieger Wassertemperatur verlängert sich die Auswaschzeit.
Bei alkoholauswaschbaren Klischées sollte die Temperatur des Auswaschmediums mindestens 18° C
betragen.
Nach dem Auswaschen sollte das wasserauswaschbare Klischée mit klarem Wasser abgespült werden.
Das alkoholauswaschbare Klischée sollte mit frischem Auswaschmedium abgespült werden.
5.8
Wasser oder Alkohol vom Klischée sofort entfernen (z.B. mit Pressluft)
5.9
Nachbelichten ca. 3 Minuten -ohne Rasterfolie und ohne Vakuum-
5.10
Klischée zur völligen Aushärtung bei ca. 80°C ca. 20-30 Minuten trocknen. Erst hiernach hat das Klischée
die erforderliche Standzeit. Das Klischée ist nun druckfertig.
Eine Standardisierung sowie Rationalisierung des Entwicklungsprozesses durch den Einsatz eines
Klischéeherstellungsgerätes (Belichter, Auswascher und Trockner in einem Gerät) ist zu empfehlen.

Basic rules which need to be observed in the production of printing plates
for transfer-pad printing.
Film material
In the production of printing plates for transfer-pad printing, a wrong-reading matted film positive is needed.
The film layer side must be matted for a perfect contact between the film and the plate. Another important factor
is the optical density: in the blackened areas more than D=log 3.50 and at the transparent areas less than
D=log 0.06. Where the density (blackening) is insufficient, UV light may penetrate and cause an unwanted
polymerisation of the plastic layer.
Screens
The screen is crucial for the final print result. With the exception of very fine points, type or elements, all motifs
should be screened. This prevents the ink from being drawn out by the doctor blade from the ink transporting
recesses.
For high ink transfer and a maximum tone value range, round dot screens should be used.
The screen ruling is determined by print parameters like motif, ink, substrate, necessary cell depth, etc. and
should generally be selected in a range between 80 and 150 l/cm. Generally it can be said that the finer the
screen, the smaller is the cell depth in the plate and thus the better the optical resolution of fine lines and details.
In the reproduction of type and solid areas, the doctor-blade supporting halftone dots should be exposed with a tone
value of 90 %.
Reproduction of con-tone motifs
In the reproduction of single or multi-colour con-tone motifs, the repro parameters like screen ruling, gradation
and tone value limits need to be determined „on site“ by means of printing tests under the specific local
conditions.
Densitometric check
For the densitometric check of the film blackening of the copying film, it is recommendable to additionally copy
a fully blackened unscreened control patch outside the print area.
Protection from imperfect copies
In order to eliminate imperfect copies, the film should be protected from mechanical damages, and during
exposure dirt trappings should be avoided.
Platemaking
Possibilities for the exposure:
The printing plates are always exposed with UV light in a range between 360-380 nm. Suitable exposure units
are both tube exposure units and metal halide lamps (except for the WS 73 W).

Suitable tube types are:
• Philips 40 W TL 09 N • Philips TLK 10 R • Sylvania BL 366 • 20 Watt TL 09
Exposure:
In order to support the doctor blade during doctoring, halftone dots are needed - with the exception of very fine
elements. There are two possibilities to produce halftone dots in an exposure.
• One-time plate copy with an already screened film
• Exposure with the line motif (line film) followed by a second exposure with the equivalent halftone film.
Below, exposing with a line film (image motif) is called main exposure.
The necessary exposure time and the required cell depth can be determined with an test film; the desired cell
depth must be checked with a depth measuring microscope.
Above all for new plate batches, regular test exposures including the appropriate assessment through proof printing or measurements with the depth measurement microscope are necessary.
The cell depth and thus the ink volume that can be transferred can be controlled by means of the exposure time
or the screen rulings with a coarser screen automatically rendering a higher depth than a finer screen when exposed for the same time.

Exposure with the tube exposure unit:
In this process, no depth exposure can be made. The cell depth is controlled by means of the main exposure
and the screen ruling. An exposure test is made by laying in the test positive and then exposing every area with
different exposure times.
Wash-out of the exposed printing plate
The printing plates can either be washed out with a plush by hand or with suitable wash-out devices. Suitable
devices are wash-out devices with plush cushions.
When alcohol mixtures are used, special care must be taken that only compatible devices are used. The
saturated alcohol wash-out solvent must not be let off into the sewage system. It can be distilled for reuse or
be disposed of in a waste incineration plant.
Wash-out liquids:
For the water-washable plate types (WS 43, WS 73 W and WSA 52), pure tap water without any additives is
used at a temperature of 28° C (82° F) as a wash-out agent. With this wash-out solvent, the substances
contained in the waste water can be eliminated in biological waste-water treatment plants very well so that
it can be let off into the public sewage system.
For the alcohol-washable printing plates (ST 52, ST 52 K, S 73 G and S 30), the wash-out solvent is used.
Wash-out with this special alcohol/water-mixture is done at a temperature of 20° C (68° F). Particularly with
the alcohol-washable printing plates, the wash-out temperature must strictly be observed!
Special care must be taken that with the use of alcohol mixtures only suitable devices are used.
Aftertreatment/Postexposure:
After wash-out, the water-washable printing plates are rinsed with clear water, the alcohol-washable ones with
fresh wash-out solvent. After re-rinsing, all water and/or alcohol residues on the printing forme should immediately be dabbed off with a sponge or blown off with compressed air.
In order to prevent the halftone dots from lowering, the printing plates are postexposed with UV light, without a
film, for 8-10 minutes before they are dried. This holds for the plate types ST 52, ST 52 K and WSA. The postexposure time for the other plate types is 3 minutes.
Drying:
During drying, the wash-out solvent not taken up by the relief layer will evaporate; as a result, the plate will reach
its final hardness and the stability of the plate will clearly be improved. For this, recirculation air and drying cabinets are suited best.
The ST 52, WSA 52 and the ST 52 K should be dried for 30 minutes at 120° C (248° F). Where no dryer with this
temperature is available, the drying time needs to be longer accordingly. The other plate types are dried for 30
minutes at 80° C (176° F).
Storage of raw printing plates:
Printing plates for transfer-pad printing should be stored in their black plastic bag at room temperature
(20 - 22° C/ 68 -72° F) and a relative air humidity of 50 % max.
Handling:
The windows must be covered with a suitable UV protective film. In addition, the work rooms must be equipped
with UV-screened light sources

Anblasschlauch aus einzelnen, steckbaren Klemmstücken
(Gelenkschlauch), die in jeder gewünschten Position selbstjustierend sind.
Kann auch zur Zwischentrocknung zwischen den einzelnen Farben beim
Mehrfarbdruck verwendet werden. Die Tamponanblasung hat den Vorteil,
dass die Druckfarbe durch den Luftzug nach der Farbaufnahme so
angetrocknet werden kann, dass sie optimal an das Druckgut abgegeben
werden kann (regelbare Verdunstung des Farbverdünners). Wichtig bei
tiefgeätzten Klischees oder zu lang eingestellter Farbe.Bei Verwendung
eines Verteilers können auch mehrere Anblasschläuche bei
Mehrfarbmaschinen angeschlossen werden.
Pad blower system
This unit consists of a screw-mounting compressed air regulator valve with
display, hose connection to the distributor and blower hose with one round
nozzle. The blower hosepipe is made up of individual socket-connection
pieces (articulated hose) wich automatically adapt themselves to any
desired position. In the case of multi-colour printing it can also be used for
intermediate drying between the individual colours. The advantage of the
pad blower system is that after the ink has been applied the draft of air
dries it to such an exant that it can be transferred to the article to be
printed in the best possible way (adjustable evaporation of the ink thinner).
This is impotance when using plates with deep etching or when the ink
application time is too long (wrong setting). When using a distributor on a
multi-colour printing machine additional blower hoses can be fiited.

Die Spot-Generatoren HP-S und HP-D werden zur Oberflächenvorbehandlung von 3-dimensionalen gespritzten
oder extrudierten Formteilen aus Kunststoff bei langsamen bis mittleren Geschwindigkeiten eingesetzt. Ein
Elektronikgebläse presst die Coronaentladung, die zwischen den beiden im Entladungskopf integrierten Elektroden
erzeugt wird, gegen das zu behandelnde Substrat, eine Gegenelektrode wird nicht benötigt. Durch die elektrische
Coronaentladung werden auf der Kunststoffoberfläche die notwendigen bipolaren Gruppen erzeugt, die für eine
verbesserte Haftung und Benetzbarkeit von Druckfarben und Klebstoffe notwendig sind.
Die Tantec Spot-Generatoren können leicht in bestehende Produktionsprozesse integriert werden. Eine Schnittstelle
erlaubt die Übernahme von Ansteuersignalen und ermöglicht die Statusüberwachung. Die Spot-Generatoren sind in
verschiedenen Versionen erhältlich, HP-S als Einzelgerät und HP-D als Doppelelektrodengerät sowie kundenspezifische Geräte mit 3 und mehr Köpfen.

The Spot Generators HP-S and HP-D are used to treat the surface of 3-dimensional moulded or extruded plastic
parts at slow and medium speed. A corona discharge is formed between two electrode elements within the
electrode head and blown towards the substrate to be treated, removing the need for a counter-electrode. The
electrical discharge creates the necessary functional polar groups on the polymer surface, which promotes adhesion and wettability for printing and bonding. The Tantec Spot Generator can be easily integrated into existing
production lines. Various input/output signals provide the facility to remotely control or monitor the generator.
The Spot Generator is available in different versions, HP-S with a single electrode head, HP-D with a double
electrode head and custom made generators with 3 or more heads.

Entscheidungshilfen für Betreiber / Verkäufer hinsichtlich eventuell
notwendiger Explosions-Schutzmaßnahmen für Reinigunsanlagen, die mit
Lösemitteln arbeiten

VORWORT
Generell ist vorrangig Wert auf den primären Explosionsschutz (d. h. auf die Verminderung von explosionsfähiger
Atmosphäre durch die Auswahl von Lösemitteln mit höherem Flammpunkt) zu legen.
1.
Bei nicht brennbaren Lösemitteln ist ein Explosionsschutz nicht erforderlich; es sei denn, die Anlagen wer
den in Bereichen eingesetzt, die aus anderen Gründen einen Explosionsschutz erfordern.
Andererseits ist beim Betrieb dieser Anlagen aber besonderer Wert auf die Einhaltung der MAK-Werte
(wegen des Gesundheitsschutzes) sowie der Emissions- bzw. Immissions-Werte (wegen des
Umweltschutzes / Einhaltung des BlmSchG) zu legen, da es sich bei den nicht brennbaren Lösemitteln
häufig um besonders gesundheits- und umweltgefährdende Stoffe handelt.

Bei Lösemitteln, die in der Gefahrklasse A III (nach VbF), Flammpunkt über 55°C, stabil sind und deren
Flammpunkt sich bei der Verarbeitung nicht wesentlich ändert, ist ebenfalls kein Explosionsschutz erfor
derlich.
Wenn die Lösemittel jedoch, z. B. durch Heizung, Ultraschall oder Umpumpen, eine Betriebstemperatur
erreichen, die über dem unteren Explosionspunkt liegt, ist Explosionsschutz erforderlich (Inneres der
Anlage Zone 0). Ist der untere Explosionspunkt nicht bekannt, so gilt an seiner Stelle eine Temperatur, die
15°C unter dem Flammpunkt liegt.
Derselbe Explosionsschutz ist auch erforderlich, während die Lösemittel zerstäubt (vernebelt) werden,
auch wenn der Flammpunkt bzw. der untere Explosionspunkt unterschritten bleiben.
Auch hier sind selbstverständlichen alle anderen sicherheitstechnischen
Bestimmungen einzuhalten, wie z. B. die unter 1. genannten.

Bei Lösemitteln, deren Flammpunkt zwischen 40°C und 55°C liegt, ist der Innenraum des Behälters als
„Zone 1“ einzustufen, wenn nicht über den Flammpunkt erwärmt wird.
Hieraus ergibt sich, dass der Absaugventilator in einer explosionsgeschützten Ausführung eingebaut wer
den muss, die für „Zone 1“ zugelassen ist. Hiervon sind der Elektromotor des Ventilators sowie andere
Elektromotoren an der Maschine und die elektrische Steuerung dann nicht betroffen, wenn sie außerhalb
der „Zone 1“ angebracht sind. Diese elektrischen Betriebsmittel können dann in einer normalen
Ausführung der DIN VDE-/CENELEC-Bestimmungen ausgeführt sein (hier u.a. DIN VDE 0100 Teil 720).
Ergänzend sind natürlich die Explosionsschutz-Richtlinien (EX-RL) der Berufsgenossenschaft zu beachten.

Bei Lösemitteln, deren Flammpunkt unter 40°C liegt, ist das Innere des Behälters als „Zone 0“ eingestuft.
Da es z. Z. keine Bestimmungen für den Bau von Absaugventilatoren für die „Zone 0“ gibt, muss das
abgesaugte Lösemittel-Luftgemisch durch anlagentechnische Maßnahmen, wie z.B. das Vermischen mit
Frischluft, so abgemagert werden, bis ein Ventilator für“ Zone 1“ (siehe Erläuterungen zu 3.) eingesetzt
werden kann.
Weiterhin müssen alle eingebauten Betriebsmittel, auch die elektrische Steuerung, entsprechend den „EXRL“ oder DIN VDE 0165 explosionsgeschützt ausgeführt sein. Selbstverständlich gilt darüber hinaus das
deutsche Gerätesicherheitsgesetz (GSG).
5.
Ist bei Reinigungsanlagen mit dem Auftreten explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre zu rechnen, dürfen wegen der
statischen Aufladung nur Absaugschläuche aus elektrostatisch leitfähigem Kunststoff verwendet werden.
Alternativ steht hier z. B. ein umfangreiches Sortiment an flexiblen Metallschläuchen zur Verfügung.
Diese Aussagen gelten für Anlagen nach 3. und 4.

Aids to decision-making for operators or salesmen in relation to explosion
proofing measures which eventually could be necessary for cleaning plants
operating with solvents
Status as at March 2002
FOREWORD
Generally speaking, great attention should be paid to primary explosion proofing, that is to say, to the prevention
of an atmosphere capable of causing an explosion, and this through choice of solvents with a high flash point.
1.
Explosion proofing is not necessary when non-inflammable solvents are employed, except in cases where
the cleaning plant is in operation in an area in which explosion proofing is necessary for other reasons.
On the other hand, however, special attention must also be paid to ensure that the MAK-values are met (on
account of health-protection) as also the emission and air pollution values (on account of environmental
protection and compliance with the air pollution laws), because in the case of non-inflammable solvents
these are often materials which endanger health and environment.

With solvents in hazard grade A III (in accordance with VbF) with a flash point of above 55° C that is stable,
and hardly subject to change during processing, there is, in this case too, no necessity for explosion proofing.
However, when the solvent reaches an operating temperature that lies above the lowest explosion point, for
example, through heating, ultrasound or re-pumping, explosion proofing is then necessary (inside plant
Zone 0). If the lowest explosion point is not known, its place shall be taken by a temperature which lies
15° C below the flash point.
The same explosion-proofing is also necessary during spraying of solvent or solvent-mist operation, also in
cases where the flash point and/or the explosion point is/are not reached.
It goes without saying that in this case too all safety -technical regulations are to be met, such as, for
example, those mentioned in paragraph 1 above.

In the case of solvents the flash point of which lies between 40° C and 55° C the interior of the tank is to
be classified as „Zone 1“, and this when there is no heating to beyond flash point. This results in it being
necessary to install an extractor fan in of explosion-proof design which has been released for use in
„Zone 1“. This does not relate to the electric motor of the fan, the other electric motors on the machine, as
also the electrical controls provided they are mounted outside of „Zone 1“. These electrical system component parts can then be of normal design in accordance with DIN, VDE and CENELEC Regulations (these
include DIN VDE 0100, Part 720). And supplementary to these regulations it is naturally also necessary to
comply with the EX-RL (Explosion Proofing Directives) of the Employers Liability Insurance Association.
In the case of solvents the flask point of which lies below 40°C the interior of the tank is to be classified as
Zone0.

Since there are currently no regulations applicable to the construction of exhaust fans for „Zone 0“, the
extracted solvent-air-mixture must be thinned down through plant-technical means, for example, mixing
with fresh air to such an extent that a fan for „Zone 1“ can be employed (please refer to the explanatory
remarks in paragraph 3).
Furthermore, all the installed operating component parts, inclusive of the electrical controls, must be of
explosion-proof design in accordance with „EX-RL“ or DIN VDE 0165 regulations. It goes without saying
that on top of that the GSG (German Machinery Safety Law) is applicable.
5.
If one must count upon there being a cleaning plant atmosphere capable of explosion during cleaning there
may, on account of static electricity, be used only plastic extraction hosepipes that are capable of
conducting such static electricity. Alternately there are, however, available a large selection of flexible
metallic hosepipes.
This statement is correspondingly applicable to plants in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4.

Reinigungsautomat K 40 - K 80
Es können generell alle Maschinengrößen entweder als Kalt- oder Warmreinigungsanlagen geliefert
werden. Serien-mäßig werden die Reinigungsautomaten K 40, K 60 und K 80 als KaltReinigungsanlagen ohne Aufheizvorrichtung gefertigt. Sie sind für den Einsatz der verschiedenen
Lösemittel gedacht, die in der Gefahrenklasse A III (Flammpunkt über 55°C) stabil sind. Beim Einsatz
leicht entflammbarer Lösemittel oder in explosionsgefährdeten Räumen kann eine explosionsgeschützte Ausführung geliefert werden.
Die Maschinen arbeiten nach dem Sprüh-Umwälzverfahren: eine Pumpe fördert die
Reinigungsflüssigkeit zu einem dreidimensionalen Sprühsystem, durch das ein rotierender
Waschkorb läuft, auf dem die zu reinigenden Teile von allen Seiten bestrahlt werden. Der Antrieb
des Waschkorbes erfolgt ungeregelt durch den unteren Düsenstrahl oder durch einen elektronisch
geregelten Wasserstrahlantrieb. Wahlweise kann der Antrieb auch durch einen Direktantrieb über
Zahnräder erfolgen.Serienmäßig besteht nur der Maschinenkörper aus Edelstahl; Waschkorb, Pumpe
und Rohrsystem sind aus Guss/ Stahl verzinkt, können aber auf Wunsch gegen Aufpreis auch in
Edelstahl geliefert werden.
Das Lösemittel wird solange wiederverwendet, bis seine Reinigungskraft nachlässt.
Die Dauer des Waschvorgangs kann mittels einer Zeituhr eingestellt werden. Ein Sicherheitstaster
schaltet bei unbeabsichtigtem Öffnen der Maschine sofort den Pumpenmotor ab.
Der Betreiber hat dafür Sorge zu tragen, dass die Ausrüstung der Maschine den
Sicherheitsvorschriften des jeweiligen Lösemittels entspricht. Dies gilt insbesonders für Deckelverriegelung und Absaugung.
Nach Kenntnis der Einsatzzwecke können wir kundenbezogen das entsprechende Zubehör
zusammenstellen.
Die Einsatzbereiche für diese Reinigungsautomaten sind u.a. Entfettung, Reinigung von Tampondruckzubehör wie Farbwannen etc. u.v.m. Im Hinblick auf eine rationelle und umweltfreundliche
Reinigung sind Reiniungsautomaten heute unentbehrlich geworden.Die Anwendungsbereiche sind
vielfältig, so dass prinzipiell jedes Reinigungsproblem gelöst werden kann.

Cleaningmachines K 40 - K 80
Generally speaking, we supply machines of all sizes either in hot or cold cleaning plant design. The
automatic
cleaning plant K 40, K 60 and K 80 are manufactured in series production in cold cleaning machine
design without heating equipment. They are intended to make use of the various stable solvents that
lie in hazard class a III (flash point above 55°C). They can also be supplied in explosion-proof design
for use with easy inflammable solvents or
for operation in rooms where there is risk of explosion.
The machines work in accordance with the spray and circulation process:
A pump is employed to supply a three-dimensional spraying system with cleansing liquid. A rotation
washing basket runs through this spraying system and through which the parts to be cleaned are
sprayed on all sides. The washing basket drive can be uncontrolled via bottom spray-jet propulsion
or through an electronically controlled water jet drive unit. Optionally direct drive is also available
through integration of gear mechanism.
In series production plants only the body of the machine is made of high-grade steel whilst the
washing basket, pump and pipe-work are made of galvanized steel or castings, but upon request
these parts too can also be supplied in high-grade steel at extra charge.
The solvent is used time and time again until it begins to loose its cleansing properties. The washing
process time can be set by means of a timer. A safety switch is provided to switch off the pump
motor immediately in the event of unintentional opening of the machine.
It is the machine operator’s responsibility to ensure that the plant equipment meets the safety
regulations applicable for the solvent being used. This is, in particular, applicable to cover locking
mechanism and extraction equipment.
Given notice of the purpose of use we can specify the appropriate accessories package for individual
customers.
These automatic cleaning plants can be employed, amongst other things, for degreasing, cleaning of
pad printing accessories, e.g. ink trays, etc. Looking at it from the point of view of efficient and
environment-friendly cleaning plants have in this present age become indispensable. Such plants
embrace manifold fields of application and in principal provide a solution to all cleaning problems.

Heißluftgebläse HOTWIND „S“ für Tampondruckmaschinen und Trockenkanäle
Je nach erforderlicher Temperatur und Luftmenge werden entsprechende Heißluftgebläse oder Lufthitzer
mit passenden Gebläsen kombiniert und eingesetzt.
Durch Verwendung verschiedener Düsen und Reflektoren läßt sich der Heißluftstrahl ohne nennenswerte
Temperaturverluste bündeln, verbreitern oder auch stark reduzieren. Die Heißlufttemperatur kann mit der
eingebauten Elektronik von 20°C bis max. 800°C stufenlos eingestellt werden. Für spezielle
Anwendungen (externe Regelung der Heizleistung oder entfernte Temperaturmessung des Heißluftstrahls
in beliebiger Entfernung vom Lufterhitzer) stehen zusätzliche Steuer- und Regeleinrichtungen zur
Verfügung.
Die Heißluftgeräte und Gebläse arbeiten geräuscharm, eignen sich für Dauerbetrieb und Einbau in
Anlagen und Maschinen, wie z.B. Trockenkanälen.

Hot-air blowers or air heaters are combined with suitable blowers according to the required temperature
and air quantity.
The hot-air jet can be concentrated, widened and also considerably reduced with no great temperature
loss by using different nozzles and reflectors. The hot-air temperature is regulated from 20°C to a maximum 800°C by means of the built-in electronics. For special applications (external regulation of heating
power or remote temperature reading of the hot-air jet from any distance to the air heater) additional
regulation possibilities are given.
The hot-air blowers are quiet and are suitable for permanent use and installation in machines like e.g. drying channels.

Größenauswahl
Selection of size
Der Drucktampon sollte ausreichend in der
Größe bemessen sein. Größenabhängig ist
hierbei der Grad der Deformation. Ein flacher
Drucktampon, welcher ein flaches Druckgut
bedruckt, braucht an der Druckoberfläche nur
ca. 2-3 mm größer gewählt zu werden. Wenn
ein Drucktampon stark deformiert wird und
das Druckgut stark gebogen ist, muss der
Drucktampon ausreichend hoch und viel
größer als das Druckbild ausgewählt werden,
so als könnte ein flacher Drucktampon auf
einem flachen Druckgut die 2- bis 3-fache
Größe drucken.

going to be used on flat parts should be
chosen at least two or thee mm bigger.
If you do have a printing-pad that will be
deformed a lot and the part you print on is
bend, the printing-pad should be chosen
even two or three times bigger then the
printed picture.
Weiche Drucktampons
Soft printing pads
Die Vorteile von weichen Drucktampons liegen u.a. im dickeren Farbauftrag. Sie sind
gut für sehr stark gebogene Teile und neigen
zum Verschmieren. Dies kann positiv zum
Zuschmieren von Vollflächen und
Strukturoberflächen genutzt werden. Weiche
Drucktampons neigen aber zu einem unsauberen Druckbild und haben eine verstärkte
Neigung zu Lufteinschlüssen.
The advantage of a soft printing-pad is the
fact that it will put on the paint thicker than a
hard printing-pad. Soft printing-pads are
useful for highly bended parts. They tend to
fill in structured surfaces and spread well
over big surface areas. If you use a soft printing-pad it is possible that your print is not
clean enough and that you have a higher
possibility of getting air bubbles in the print.

Hard printing-pads
Die Vorteile von harten Drucktampons liegen
u.a. im sauberen Druckbild. Auch
Strukturoberflächen werden exakter
bedruckt. Die Lufteinschlüsse werden verringert, der Drucktampon kann also mit einer
flacheren Wölbung gewählt werden. Der
Farbauftrag wird jedoch zunehmend dünner
und für sehr stark gebogene Teile ist ein harter Drucktampon auch nur bedingt geeignet.

Hollow printing-pads
Hohle Drucktampons unterstützen das
Drucken auf sehr stark gebogenen Teilen.
Prinzipiell können alle Drucktampons hohl
gefertigt werden. Im Katalog ist eine gängige
Auswahl dargestellt. Der Drucktampon Nr.
142H30 bedeutet zum Beispiel, dass im
Drucktampon Nr. 142 ein Hohlkörper in der
Größe von Drucktampon Nr. 30 enthalten ist.

The printing-pad number 142H30 for example means that the printing-pad number 142
has a hollow inside size from the printingpad number 30.
The paint is going to be thinner and also it is
not advisable to print on highly bended
