Die Angabe von Kurzzeichen für Kunststoffe bezieht sich auf DIN 7728 T1 bzw. ISO 1043 T1 und bei
Polymergemischen auf DIN 16780. Von den einzelnen Kunststoffen gibt es zahlreiche Modifikationen
als Copolymerisate, Polymerisatmischungen, Polyblends, Legierungen usw. mit unterschiedlichen
