This luxurious hotel is situated in a beautiful location on the mountain tip along the north western coast of
the island close to the enchanting artist village Deià. In the midst of olive groves and almond trees the La
Residencia offers a private ambience and spectacular panoramic views of the Tramontana Mountains as
well as blue Mediterranean Sea. Here discerning individualists are offered pure relaxation far away from
the hustle and bustle of city life.
LOCATION:
La Residencia is close to the mountain village Deià. Many authors and artists stayed and have been
inspired by the splendid beautiful surroundings. Those who have visited here include the famous English
author and poet Ranke-Graves.

HOTEL DETAILS:
The former manor is part of the Orient-Express Hotel Group. The two buildings in the midst of large
citrus, almond or olive groves from the 16th and 17th century have been restored with the emphasis of
retaining original features. The carefully chosen interior with precious Majorcan antiques, terracotta tiles,
original wood floors and bright Mediterranean colours convey a cosy ambience. Guests are able to enjoy a
unique art exhibition of local artists in the hotel.
The gourmet restaurant El Olivo which is probably one of the best in Spain is located in a romantic
converted oil mill and it provides top class cuisine. It has an exceptional menu as well as impressive wine
card. In a casual atmosphere the Son Fony is the perfect place for an extensive Mediterranean breakfast
with views being offered to the mountains and pool. On hot summer days the pool restaurant serves in the
shade of Pergola which has a cool and relaxing atmosphere. The fresh salads and delightful Mediterranean
fish dishes are the perfect for hot temperatures.
The La Residencia Spa includes an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, fitness room and six
treatment rooms with four having an own massage area outside. The carefully selected treatments and five
beauty therapists offer individual service and great comfort.
The guests have a reception, 24 hour service and shuttle service to a close by private bathing bay at their
disposal. Further guided mountain hikes, three swimming pools, free mountain bike rental, boat trips,
catamaran tours and art exhibitions of local and international artists are available.

Classic Room: (around 25 m²); each room is furnished in a different design with Majorcan furniture and
a queen size bed (partly as canopy bed). Some rooms provide high ceilings.

Superior Suite 64: (around 60 m² + terrace); the suite is situated in the building Son Fony above the main
pool. It offers a spacious living room with bathroom and a separate lounge area with plasma TV, DVD,
video, free WiFi access and MP3 player. The terrace offers a view towards the Tramuntana Mountains and
the bedroom offers a view towards the village and mountains.

Superior Suite 33 (The Tower): (around 65 m²); the suite is situated in the old tower, the oldest part of
the building which was probably built by the Templars as a watch tower and which offers a stunning
panorama view over the mountains, the village and the sea. The suites comprise of two levels with access
via a spiral stone staircase. On the first floor there is the bedroom and a comfortable bedroom, on the
upper floor there is a spacious living room with TV, DVD, video, free WiFi access, PP3 player as well as a
sun terrace. The suite is especially popular with honeymooners.

Tramuntana Suite: (around 60 m²): the suite is situated above the Spa building and offers due to its
hillside a spectacular view over the valley to the Mediterranean. All suites provide a separate living and
bedroom as well as a terrace with small garden.

plunge pool.

offers a beautiful view over the village and a roofed seating area as well as a plunge pool.

Luxury Suite 67 with Pool: (around 60 m²); the corner suite is situated in the Son Fony building and
offers view over the village and the Tramuntana mountains. It provides a terrace with private pool, a
bedroom with canopy bed as well as a separate seating area with small kitchenette and plasma TV, DVD,
video and complimentary WiFi and MP3 player.

Luxury Suite 54 with Pool: (around 137 m²); situated in the Son Fony building above the main pool, with
spacious living area with plasma TV, DVD, video, complimentary WiFi, MP3 player well as a bar and

a dressing room. On the terrace there is a private pool with roofed pergola and seating accommodation.

Superior Suite 33 (The Tower): (ca. 65 qm); diese Suite befindet sich im alten Turm, dem ältesten Teil
des Hotelgebäudes, der vermutlich durch die Templer als Wachturm erbaut wurde. Daher wird ein
wunderbarer Panoramablick auf die Berge, das Dorf und das Meer geboten. Die Suite besteht aus zwei
Ebenen mit Zugang über eine steinerne Wendeltreppe. Im ersten Stock ist das Schlafzimmer und ein
komfortables Badezimmer und in der Etage darüber gibt es einen großzügigen Wohnbereich mit TV,
DVD, Video, kostenlosem Wi-Fi-Zugang, MP3 Player sowie eine Sonnenterrasse. Die Suite ist sehr

Das Gourmet-Restaurant "El Olivo", vielleicht eines der besten Restaurants in ganz Spanien, befindet sich
in einer romantischen umgebauten Ölmühle und hebt die Esskultur auf ein neues Niveau. Es bietet eine
ausgezeichnete Speisekarte sowie eine ebenso eindrucksvolle Weinkarte. In einer lockeren Atmosphäre ist
das Son Fony mit Blick auf die Berge und den Pool der perfekte Ort für ein ausgedehntes mediterranes
Frühstück. An heißen Sommertagen bietet das Poolrestaurant im Schatten der Pergola eine frische,
