HISTORy
Na década de 1990 a empresa cresceu
sustentadamente, tendo aumentado
significativamente os seus efectivos e
intervindo sucessivamente em projectos
de dimensão e complexidade crescentes.
A empresa pode, assim, responder ao
grande desenvolvimento de Portugal
nas áreas da Obras Públicas e das obras
privadas no domínio da habitação,
dos serviços e da indústria,
com especial ênfase para a Região
Autónoma da Madeira.
A Cenor iniciou em 2005 a sua
internacionalização, prestando
actualmente serviços nos seguintes
países: Angola, Moçambique, Cabo Verde,
Argélia, Brasil, Colômbia, Venezuela e
Timor Leste.
Como resultado da confiança dos seus
clientes a CENOR implantou-se como
uma das empresas de consultoria líder
no mercado nacional, congregando hoje
cerca de 200 colaboradores.

areas of Design and Coordination and
Supervision of Construction Works.
Founded in 1980, CENOR immediately
implemented a strategy focused on
customer satisfaction combined with
a flexible and independent business
model. Taking advantage of its technical
proficiency, expertise, innovation and
development of new technologies, CENOR

In the 1990s the company grew steadily,

passando a estar certificada de acordo com as normas
ISO 14001:2004 – Sistemas de Gestão Ambiental e OSHAS
18001:2007 – Sistemas de Gestão da Segurança e Saúde

Em 2011 a CENOR foi premiada com o Estatuto PME Excelência
2011. Este estatuto de qualificação empresarial foi criado pelo
IAPMEI e é atribuído às empresas nacionais que se destacam

Certifications formally assure to CENOR clients that
all services provided shall follow the most suitable procedures
for each task. The organisational structure thus implemented
is aimed at successfully developing all activities and satisfying
client expectations.
In 2000, CENOR obtained the certification of its Quality
Assurance System for Project Development and Consulting,
Coordination, Management, Supervision and Quality
Management in all areas of Civil Engineering, under the
NP ISO 9001:2008 standard.
In 2012, CENOR achieved the certification of its Integrated
Quality, Environment and Safety Management System and
is now certified in accordance with the ISO 14002:2004
– Environmental Management Systems and the OHSAS
18001:2007 – Health and Safety Management Systems.
The strict and demanding requirements implemented by
CENOR for its business performance are recognized, since 1992,
by its certification as General Manager of Quality in Construction
– LNEC Quality Mark (National Civil Engineering Laboratory) in
the categories of Buildings and Monuments, Transport, Urban
Development and Hydraulics, all in the highest class (Class 8).
In 2011, CENOR was awarded the PME (SME) Excelence 2011
label. This label has been created by IAPMEI and is the highest
award distinguishing the best SMEs in Portugal (already
awarded with the PME Lider label) in light of their management
and economical-financial performance.

e Consultoria, Coordenação, Gestão, Fiscalização e Gestão da

A exigência e o rigor posto em prática pela CENOR no
