Page 2 of 129 SUMMARY Objectives The PESCALEX Language Game was rewritten and updated in two versions: the first as part of a live Treasure Hunt Game, the second as a complete online version which includes many of the linguistic situations faced by exchange students in language of the host country. Rationale The live simulation Treasure Hunt Game was not chosen as part of the Final Event ICT Workshop. However, the Language Team continued to develop the storyline in the chosen Least Widely Spoken Languages (Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Greek). In addition, the scenarios were expanded from 11 to 20, to cover the different kinds of problems that exchange students can face when in a foreign country. Results Given the training provided in the Final Event ICT Hands-on Workshop, the Language Team used this opportunity to produce the Game in 4 YouTube videos, making use of the knowledge gained from both the video and the audio teams. Four were made as iMovie videos using Mac technology. The fifth (Portuguese) was developed using an entirely different methodology (powerpoint and Screen R). The Portuguese movie will be finalised using Pinnacle. These videos will go on making an impact, after the project has run its courses. Teams involved: Bernd Ueberschär (Bioserve GbR and Association for Marine Aquaculture, GMA, Germany) & Stephen Bean (University college of Cork, UK) Clive Dove (Fundación INNOVAMAR, Spain) & Mike Moulton (Norwegian University of Life Sciences) Sonia Seixes (Universidade Aberta, Department of Sciences and Technology (DCeT), Portugal Annie Heral, M.Eleftheriou AMC Ltd Turker Boder, Turkey Wanda Plaiti, HCMR Annexes PESCALEX Le jeu PESCALEX Language Game ENGLISH Audio 1a.
