Faltando 3 dias para o término do evento, as chegadas de turistas na cidade de São Paulo iniciam um processo de estabilização, já prevista para o período.
Os dados coletados com a hotelaria apontam para uma taxa de ocupação de 68% em dias de jogos, o que representa 11% acima dos dias sem jogos na cidade.
As Centrais de informação turística ainda concentram os esforços nos estrangeiros, com cerca de 80% de turistas internacionais solicitando atendimentos diversos sobre a oferta turística da capital
paulista.
Dados da Infraero e administração do aeroporto de Guarulhos apontam para um crescimento de 6% no movimentos de passageiros em junho de 2014, em comparação com o mesmo período de 2013,
considerando os 2 aeroportos. Os embarques e desembarques passaram de 4,1 milhões para 4,4 milhões.
Nas mídias sociais, exemplos de mensagens de estrangeiros celebrando a hospitalidade e novas amizades com paulistanos durante a Copa do MundoTM.
