St. Joseph Church will sponsor the 8th Annual Ed Thaete Classic Golf Tournament and Dinner Reception, hosted by Willowick Golf Course on Monday, September 23, 2013. Registration
starts at 12 noon - Tee Off at 1:00 p.m. (shotgun start) - Dinner/Reception at 6:00 p.m.
 Golf and Dinner Foursome: $500.00 (includes green fees,
gift items, cart and dinner)
 Individual Golf and Dinner: $150.00 (includes green fees,
cart and dinner)
 Dinner Only: $50.00 per person

The "For Christ Forever" diocesan capital campaign will be
coming to our St. Joseph parish this fall. Our parish goal
will be to raise $439,615, with $100,904 coming back to
our parish for our parish building needs and $338,712 going to our Diocese of Orange for our future Christ Cathdral,
Catholic education, priests retirement and diocesan ministries (those usually funded by the annual Pastoral Services
Appeal). We will also continue to promote stewardship
giving in our parish, encouraging everyone to give of their
time, talent and treasure for our St. Joseph parish and its
ministries.
THE RIDES ARE COMING BACK!!!/¡LOS JUEGOS MECÁNICOS REGRESARÁN!
There will not be a Pastoral Services Appeal in our parish
in 2013 - this year, diocesan ministries funded through the
Pastoral Services Appeal are included in the capital campaign. We will have a Pastoral Services Appeal, though, in
early 2014.
Have you ever asked yourself, "What can
I do for my Church?"
Do you know of a company or person(s) who could help
underwrite the cost of our Fiesta? There are many more
opportunities - for example: there are approximately 30
booths that each need a sponsor ($125.00 each); the cost of
the Santa Ana Police is about $5,000.00; the cost of the
required licensed security guards is $2,500.00; the cost of
the street closure permit and proper street barricades is
$2,500.00. These are just of a few areas where we need
help, more will be listed in a couple of weeks. NOW is
the time to step up. Call the Parish Office as soon as possible (714) 542 4411.
Let us all pray and discern about how we will participate in
this important endeavor for our St. Joseph parish community and our Diocese of Orange.
