His latest series, “The Aronburg Mystery” reveals the obsession with the American writer Henry Darger that created a fifteen thousand pages story, telling about the disappearance of a little girl (Elsie Paroubeck / Annie Aronburg) which inspires a horrific battle between Christians and misbelievers. The composition of Angélico’s art works follows the Darger technique in copying images from magazines and putting them in different contexts organized in war sceneries or cinema maquettes.
