University of Palermo, May 6-8 2013 Italy: This workshop took place at the beginning of the project and set the scene for the research visits that follow. Partners present summaries of their previous research and discussions and brainstorming sessions followed each talk. Work packages were adjusted accordingly. Folios (hard copy and electronic) of the PowerPoint presentations and is prepared and shared by the web cloud. • Workshop #2. planned for March 2014 in Lincoln University in New Zealand. This workshop will take place midway through the programme. Updates of the work packages will be provided to the partners and where necessary fine-tuning of the work packages may take place. • Workshop #3. planned for May 2015 in INRA (Sophia Antipolis) in France/ Wuerzburg in Germany. Updates of the work packages will be provided to the partners and where necessary fine-tuning of the work packages may take place. • Workshop #4. planned November/December 2015 in Lincoln University in New Zealand. This workshop will take place at the end of the project and will allow partners to look back on the research carried out in the different work packages. Priorities for future work will be discussed and plans for future research collaborations confirmed.
