Neurofeedback - die Rückmeldung der elektrischen Aktivität der Nervenzellen des Gehirns - ist eine
komplementäre Methode im Gesundheitswesen. Die Methode weist ausgezeichnete Erfolge auf, hat
keine Nebenwirkungen und die positiven Veränderungen halten an.
Mit Neurofeedback können eine Reihe von Krankheiten und psychischen Störungen - wie
Depressionen, Drogenabhängigkeit (zB Alkoholismus), Aufmerksamkeitsstörungen und Hyperaktivität
bei Kindern, Migräne, Epilepsie, geringfügige Hirnverletzungen, Tinnitus u.a.m. - positiv beeinflusst
werden.
Der 2-Tages Workshop gibt eine Einführung in Neurofeedback und die damit verbundene
Instrumentation. Verschiedene Anwendungen des Neurofeedback und damit verbundene
Trainingprotokolle werden vorgestellt und diskutiert. Fallbeispiele und Datenauswertungen geben
einen Einblick in die praktische Arbeit, Diagnose und Auswertung der Trainingerfolge.
Der Fokus des Workshops liegt in der Praxis. Beurteilung des Rohsignals, Erkennung von
Artefakten, Einstellung von Frequenzbändern und Verwendung von Schwellen und Feedbackmodi
werden im Detail besprochen und geübt. In Kleingruppen werden Protokolle für die einzelnen
Anwendungen aufgestellt und in 2-er oder 3-er Gruppen an Geräten praktisch umgesetzt und
ausgewertet.
Ziel des Trainingsworkshops ist es, dass Teilnehmer/Innen in die Lage versetzt werden, mit dem
Procomp/Biograph oder Procomp/Biograph Infiniti im Bereich Neurofeedback - u.U. unter Supervision
- zu arbeiten.
Ein 1-Tages Workshop zur Auffrischung und Supervision etwa 3-4 Monate danach wird bei Bedarf
angeboten. Weiterbildungen in Neurofeedback bei der Biofeedback Foundation of Europe (BFE) oder
bei MediTECH Deutschland werden empfohlen.
Knut Berndorfer, Dr. rer. nat.
Studium der Physik in Wien und München .Langjährige Industrietätigkeit. Ausgehend von der
Quantenphysik Interesse an Erforschung des Bewusstseins und östlicher spiritueller Traditionen.
Mehrjährige Indienaufenthalte und persönliche Praxis. Ausbildungen in Biofeedback, Neurofeedback,
Stressmanagement und Holistic Health in den USA und Europa seit 1987. War langjähriger Sekretär
und Trainer der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Biofeedback und Psychophysiologie (ÖBfP) und ist
Lehrtrainer der Biofeedback Foundation of Europe (BFE). Studie für Alpha/Theta Training für die
GAMED mit Dr. Schenner im Therapiezentrum Ybbs. Arbeitet mit Biofeedback in freier Praxis und in
Organisationen im Rahmen Dialogprozess, Stressmanagement, Optimum Performance und
persönlicher Entfaltung.

The 2-day workshop gives an introduction to neurofeedback and the instrumentation used. Different
applications of neurofeedback and the respective training protocols will be presented and discussed.
Examples and evaluation of data give an insight in the practical work and the evaluation of the
success of training.
The focus of the workshop is on the practical side. Evaluation of the raw signal, recognition of
artefacts, use of frequency bands, thresholds, counters and feedback modalities will be discussed in
detail and practised. The different main protocols will be practised in groups of 2-3 people and
evaluated with the equipment.
It is one aim of this workshop that people learn to work with the ProComp+/BioGraph or the
ProComp/BioGraph Infiniti system in such a way, that they are capable of starting their work with
neurofeedback – possibly under supervision.
A 1-day workshop will be offered – when desired by the participants – to support and boost the
practical work. Further training for Neurofeedback with the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe (BFE)
or MediTECH Germany will be recommended.
The Workshop will be held in German.
Knut Berndorfer, Dr. rer. nat.
Knut Berndorfer, Dr. rer. nat. studied physics at Vienna and Munich. He worked many years in a large
German company as project manager and systems engineer. Starting in quantum physics his interest
was in exploring consciousness, eastern spiritual traditions and western psychotherapies. Dr.
Berndorfer has trained in Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, Stress Management and Holistic Health with
many teachers in US and Europe since 1987. For many years he was a trainer for the Austrian
Society of Biofeedback and Psychophysiology. Dr. Berndorfer has performed a study for Alpha-Theta
Training together with Gerfried Schenner with alcohol addicts. He uses biofeedback and other
techniques for Stress Management & Optimum Performance training for individuals, groups and
organizations. Dr. Berndorfer is a leading practitioner with the ProComp/BioGraph systems in Austria.
Dr. Gerfried Schenner
Dr. Gerfried Schenner Studied Psychology at the University of Vienna. Trained as psychotherapist in
Gestalt therapy, Hypnotherapy, Biofeedback and Energetic Psychology. He has taken several
seminars with Barry Sterman, Joel Lubar, Jay Gunkelman, Siegfried Othmer, Val Brown and others.
Works with Alpha-Theta for alcohol addiction, with ADD, Tinnitus, Epilepsy etc. Leads the department
for alcohol addiction at theTherapy Centre in Ybbs.
Neurofeedback – the feedback of the electrical activities of the nerve cells of the brain – is a
complementary method in the health care system. The method shows excellent results, has no
secondary effects and the positive changes last.
With Neurofeedback a series of illnesses and psychological disturbances – as depression, drug
dependence (e.g. from alcohol), attention deficit disorders (ADD) for children, migraine, epilepsy,
tinnitus and more – can be positively influenced.
