For nearly two centuries, the name CHRISTIAN FISCHBACHER has
stood for tradition, quality and style, but also for a love of avant-garde and experimental design. And for Spring 2016, the Swiss textile company’s highly innovative design team once again presents
an amazingly inspiring bed linen collection full of creative ideas,
executed with truly masterful textile manufacturing skill. The new
designs are grouped together under the themes INNER GLOW and
SOUL GARDEN.
INNER GLOW präsentiert sich mit leiser Opulenz. Inspiriert von der
Schnelllebigkeit der Zeit – vom Hier und Jetzt verbunden mit dem
permanenten Wandel - passen die Designs zu einem zeitgemässen
urbanen Lebensstil. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und höchster Handfertigkeit hergestellt, sind die Designs von INNER GLOW grafisch
zeitlos und lassen Arrangements mit kosmopolitischem Flair und
individueller Note entstehen.

SOUL GARDEN ist eine farbenfrohe Hommage an die Vielfalt der
Natur. Übersteigerte, opulente Meisterwerke, freie abstrakte
Designs und üppige Pflanzen präsentieren sich als textiles Biotop. Ein
üppiger Farbcocktail, der den Reichtum der Botanik in seiner ganzen
Pracht darstellt. Sonnige, saftige Farben verschmelzen mit dunklen,
intensiven Tönen, die traditionelle Muster neu und zeitgemäss
interpretieren. Die vielschichtigen Motive und erzählerischen
Muster werden, gepaart mit hoher Handwerkskunst, in unseren
unverfälschten Materialqualitäten hergestellt.
SOUL GARDEN is a colourful homage to the beauty of the diversity
of nature. The collection presents a true textile biotope of prints in
opulent floral designs, a lush cocktail of colours representing the
richness of our world’s flora in all its glory. Sunny, juicy colours
blend with dark, intensive hues, resulting in traditional patterns
with a completely new and contemporary expression. The multi-layered motives and patterns of the collection are executed in natural
materials with the highest artisanal skill.

DE Die Stoffkombinationen der beliebten Fil à Fil Qualitäten werden durch die
Konfektionsarten NORD- und SÜDSTRAND zu vollendeter Perfektion. Aus
dem gestreiften Fil à Fil entstehen durch raffinierte Konfektion Rahmen
und Stehsäume, die in den Ecken millimetergenau aufeinander passen, und
wofür ein präziser Zuschnitt und viel handwerkliches Können Pflichtprogramm sind. Beim Fil à Fil ist der Name Programm: Faden an Faden, ein weisser und ein bunter Faden in Kette und Schuss, werden beim Uni im Wechsel
verwoben. Wir verwenden ausschliesslich extra langstapelige SwissCotton
Baumwolle von höch-ster Qualität. Trotz des doppelt gezwirnten beträgt das
Warengewicht dieser Qualität nur 100g/m2. Die Kombination aus edlem
Garn, spezieller Webart und anspruchsvoller Veredlung verleiht dem Buntgewebe seine edle und schlichte Ausstrahlung. Ein Schweizer Weber, mit
dem wir seit über 100 Jahren zusammenarbeiten, stellt Fil à Fil für uns her.
DE PUROLINO besteht aus feinstem Leinen, das aus den Weiten der westeuropäischen Küstenstreifen stammt. Dieses Leinen wird von einer italienischen Weberei verarbeitet, die auf die Verarbeitung von Leinen spezialisiert ist. Durch die Dichte ist PUROLINO äusserst kompakt und sehr stabil;
dennoch beträgt sein Warengewicht nur 120g pro m2. Leinen ist von Natur aus
hypoallergen und antibakteriell. Zudem ist es temperaturregulierend,
da es bis zu 20% seines Gewichtes an Feuchtigkeit aufnehmen kann und
dieses leicht in die Luft abgibt. Dadurch wirkt es kühl und trocken. Unser
PUROLINO ist garngefärbt, dadurch waschen sich die Farben nicht aus, und
das Leinen wird über die Jahre immer glatter und geschmeidiger. Nach Ihren
Bedürfnissen fertigen wir die Bettwäsche in unserem Nähatelier auf Mass an,
mit unserer typisch schweizerischen Leidenschaft für Qualität und unserer
Liebe zum Detail.
EN The sewing of NORDSTRAND and SÜDSTRAND is the ultimate in couture
perfection. The striped Fil à Fil quality is used to form frames and raised
seams. The stripes meet in the corners in a precision of millimetres that
requires 100% exactness in the cutting and the sewing of the fabrics. Only
our most skilled sewing masters can achieve this level of craftsmanship. The
name Fil à Fil stands for the weaving structure of the fabric: a white and a
coloured yarn are set up in the warp side by side, a laborious process that
can take days. The fabric is then woven, again intermittently with a white
and a coloured yarn, except for the plain white, which is of course woven
white in white. We exclusively use extra long-staple SwissCotton yarn of the
highest quality. And, although the plain weave is woven with doubly twisted
yarn, still the fabric weighs only 100g per square metre. The combination of
the noble yarn, the special weave and the careful after-treatment give this
colour-woven fabric its pure and elegant appearance. A Swiss weaver with
whom we have collaborated for more than 100 years produces our Fil à Fil
exclusively for us.
EN Our 100% pure linen fabric PUROLINO is made out of the choicest flax,
grown in the Western European coastal regions. It is woven by an Italian linen
specialist. Its dense weave makes PUROLINO both smooth and stable; and
yet its weight is only 120g per square metre, much lighter than other linens
you will encounter. Linen is a wonderful fabric: it is naturally hypoallergenic
and antibacterial and it also has temperature regulating qualities as it absorbs
up to 20% of its own weight in humidity. This is why linen feels so cool and
dry to the touch. Because our PUROLINO is yarn-dyed, the colours do not
wash out and the linen becomes softer and smoother with every wash.

DE Dieses Design ist ein Statement. Inspiriert von Meisterwerken des Impressionismus stellt es ein prachtvolles Gemälde dar, dessen feine Farbschattierungen mit freien Pinselstrichen gemalt sind. VERNISSAGE ist auf unserem
beliebten Klassiker Satin 105 gedruckt, einem leichten, weichen Kettsatin,
der ein Gewicht von nur 100g pro m2 ausweist. Er wird in der sogenannten „Schweizer Satin Konstruktion“ ausschliesslich mit zertifizierter Supima
Langstapelbaumwolle von höchster Qualität hergestellt. In unserem Nähatelier fertigen wir die Bettwäsche gemäss Ihren Bedürfnissen nach Mass einzeln
an, mit unserer typisch schweizerischen Leidenschaft für Qualität und unserer
Liebe zum Detail. Das ist der Grund, weshalb sich Ihre Christian Fischbacher
Bettwäsche so viel schöner anfühlt und besser aussieht als alles, was Sie bisher kannten.
DE Die neue Konfektionsart SATIN ACCENT besteht jeweils aus drei Unis der
umfangreichen Satin Farbpalette, die der schlichten Bettwäsche eine grafische
Anmutung verleihen. Die Farbaufteilung auf der Vorderseite des Kissens und
auch der Decke erfolgt jeweils zu einem Drittel und zwei Dritteln, wobei sich
der kleinere Farbanteil über die gesamte Rückseite zieht. Die Trennung dieser
beiden Farbtöne bildet eine effektvolle Biese. Für unsere Satin Qualität verwenden wir ausschliesslich extra langstapelige SwissCotton Baumwolle von
höchster Qualität. Weniger als 3 % der weltweiten Baumwollproduktion erfüllt diese Kriterien. Das Garn lassen wir dann in der sogenannten „Schweizer
Einstellung“ zu unserem berühmten Satin verweben. Durch die Kombination
des edlen Garns, der speziellen Webart und der Veredelung erhält er seinen
ganz eigenen, eleganten Glanz und ist mit 100g/m2 viel weicher und leichter
als andere Bettwäsche Satins. Der Stoff wird bei unseren Partnern hergestellt,
mit denen wir zum Teil schon seit über 100 Jahren zusammenarbeiten.
EN VERNISSAGE is a statement. Inspired by impressionist masterworks, the design represents a grand painting with fine shades of colour, freely painted with
generous brush strokes. VERNISSAGE is printed on our Satin 105, a cotton
satin woven in our special „Swiss Construction“. We exclusively use extra
long-staple Supima cotton yarn of the highest quality. This, in combination
with the finish, gives our satin its elegant shine. At 100g per square metre it
is softer and lighter than any other bed linen satin you will have encountered.
We sew your bed linen exactly according to your wishes, with our characteristic Swiss passion for quality and attention to detail. Every seam is straight
and there are no lose threads – everything is worked to perfection. It took
us nearly 200 years of experience to reach and maintain this level of quality.
EN The new couture of SATIN ACCENT consists of three solids each of our extensive range of solid satins. The combination of the solids gives the purist design a refined graphic appearance. The colours are arranged in
a one-third/two thirds split, whereby the lesser of the colours covers
the entire back of the cover and the pillow case. The colours are separated with a fine effect-tuck. For our satin fabric, we exclusively use extra longstaple SwissCotton yarn of the highest quality. Only less than 3% of
the world’s cotton production fulfil these criteria. We weave the yarn in our
so-called “Swiss Construction” to our famous satin. The combination of the
noble yarn, the spcial weaving construction and the after-treatment gives
our satin its typical elegant shine. At 100g per square metre, it is also much
softer and lighter than other satins in the market. The fabric is produced at
our long-term partners, with whom we have collaborated in some cases for
longer than 100 years.

das gewisse Mehr an Eleganz und Raffinesse. Die Bettwäsche ist auf unserem
beliebten Klassiker Satin 105 gefertigt, einem leichten, weichen Kettsatin,
der ein Gewicht von nur 100g pro m2 ausweist. Er wird in der sogenannten „Schweizer Satin Konstruktion“ ausschliesslich mit zertifizierter Supima
Langstapelbaumwolle von höchster Qualität hergestellt. In unserem Nähatelier fertigen wir die Bettwäsche gemäss Ihren Bedürfnissen nach Mass einzeln

DE FRAGOLINA zeigt in bester Christian Fischbacher Tradition naturalistisch gezeichnete Walderdbeeren und Duftveilchen auf zart weichem Feinsatin. Den
glänzenden Kettsatin mit matten Punkten als Schusssatin webt ein Schweizer
Familienbetrieb mit über 200jähriger Erfahrung exklusiv für uns. Der Feinsatin ist mit nur 80g pro m2 die leichteste und luftigste BaumwollQualität in
unserer Kollektion. Hierfür verwenden wir ausschliesslich zertifizierte Supima
Extra Langstapelbaumwolle von höchster Qualität. Anschliessend wird sie in
einem aufwändigen 12-Schablonen-Druck bei unseren langjährigen Schweizer Partnern bedruckt, deren Druckqualität unerreicht ist. Die Bettwäsche
fertigen wir gemäss Ihren Bedürfnissen nach Mass an, mit unserer typisch
schweizerischen Leidenschaft für Qualität und unserer Liebe zum Detail.
EN It‘s all in the details. In SATIN SELECTION, a contrasting coloured trim border adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to Christian Fischbacher‘s
signature satin quality. The bed linen is made of our Satin 105, a cotton satin
woven in our special „Swiss Construction“. We exclusively use extra long-staple Supima cotton yarn of the highest quality. This, in combination with the
finish, gives our satin its elegant shine. At 100g per square meter it is softer
and lighter than any other bed linen satin you will have encountered. We sew
your bed linen exactly according to your wishes.
EN FRAGOLINA is a classic Christian Fischbacher print, with realistically drawn
forest berries and violets, printed on our finest sateen. The dotted sateen with
its elegant shine is woven exclusively for us by a Swiss family-owned factory
with more than 200 years of experience. The sateen weighs only 80grams per
square metre and is the lightest cotton quality in our collection. We exclusively use extra long-staple Supima cotton yarn of the highest quality for weaving it. The print is executed by our long-term Swiss partners in a complicated
12-handed screen print, in a printing quality that remains unsurpassed. We
sew your bed linen exactly according to your wishes, with our characteristic
Swiss passion for quality and attention to detail. Every seam is straight and
there are no lose threads – everything is worked to perfection. It took us nearly 200 years of experience to reach and maintain this level of quality.

DE BOUQUET ist eine Kombination aus historischen Zeichnungen der St. Galler
Archive und einem Kreismotiv, das dem romantischen Sujet Modernität verleiht. Der opulente Blumenpunkt ist auf den Deckenbezügen mittig platziert,
die Rückseite ziert das Streublumen-Allover MILLEFLEURS, das Blüten und
Blätter des Bouquets vereint. Auch die Kissen präsentieren sich als raffinierten
Doubleface: auf der einen Seite der blütenweisse Uni BLANC CLAIR und als
Pendant MILLEFLEURS auf der Rückseite. Romantisch Angehauchte können

DE Die beschwingt und leicht über die Bettwäsche tanzenden Schmetterlinge
von MARIPOSA entstanden als Aquarell im Atelier von Christian Fischbacher. Unsere langjährigen Schweizer Partner haben das weissgrundige Design
als 11-Schablonen-Druck umgesetzt. Das graue Kolorit entstand durch einen
technisch sehr anspruchsvollen 12-Schablonen-Ätzdruck. Bei diesem werden
reduzierende, eingefärbte Druckpasten auf den vorgefärbten Stoff gedruckt.
In der Ausrüstung entziehen diese dem Stoff seine Farbe und kommen als
neue Farben zum Vorschein. Kein anderes Verfahren erzielt auf farbigen Textilien so leuchtende Farben, ohne das „Stoffgefühl“ des Textils wesentlich
zu verändern. Nur wenige Manufakturen sind in der Lage, einen derart anspruchsvollen Artikel herzustellen. Als Grundware dient unser beliebter Satin
105, ein leichter, weicher Kettsatin mit nur 100g pro m2. Er ist in der sogenannten „Schweizer Einstellung“ hergestellt – ausschliesslich mit Supima
Extra Langstapelbaumwolle von höchster Qualität.
EN BOUQUET is a combination of historical drawings from the St. Gallen Textile
Museum Archives and a circle motif, which gives a sense of modernity to
the romantic pattern. The opulent flower motif is placed in the centre of the
front of the duvet cover, while the back is done in the all-over design MILLEFLEURS, thus bringing together the flowers and leaves of the bouquet. The
romantic can also just dive into a sea of flowers, as MILLEFLEURS is also available as a single design, from duvet to cushion cover. It is printed in Switzerland in a hard-to-replicate 12 handed screen print on our Satin 105, a cotton
satin weaved in the so-called “Swiss Construction”. We exclusively use extra
long-staple Supima cotton yarn of the highest quality. This, in combination
with the finish, gives our satin its elegant shine. At 100g per square meter it
is softer and lighter than any other bed linen satin you will have encountered.
EN The butterflies dancing happily across the MARIPOSA bed linen design, first
came to life as a watercolour painting in Christian Fischbacher’s in-house
design studio in Switzerland. It is printed in a complicated 12-handed screen
print, by our trusted long-term Swiss partners. There is a version with a white
base and one with a grey background. The grey colour version of the design
is executed in a technically especially demanding reactive dye print: a reactive paste is printed on the pre-dyed fabric. When washed out during the
finishing process, the paste reacts with the dye on the fabric and creates the
incomparable, lustrous colours on a dark background that can only be achieved with this technique. Only a very few printers in the world master the
process. The design is printed on our Satin 105, a cotton satin weaved in the
so-called “Swiss Construction”. We exclusively use extra long-staple Supima
cotton yarn of the highest quality. This, in combination with the finish, gives
our satin its elegant shine. At 100g per square metre it is softer and lighter
than any other bed linen satin you will have encountered.

DE Inspiriert von Werken zeitgenössischer Kunst, sind die Bettwäsche Designs
RUSH und MASTERPIECE in Acrylmalerei im hauseigenen Designstudio von
Christian Fischbacher entstanden. Unsere Schweizer Partner drucken diese in
aufwändigem 11- bzw. 12- Schablonen-Druck auf unseren Satin 105, einem
Stoff gewebt in der sogenannten „Schweizer Einstellung“. Wir verwenden
ausschliesslich Supima Extra Langstapelbaumwolle von höchster Qualität –
weniger als 5% der weltweiten Baumwollproduktion entsprechen diesem
Niveau. Dadurch, und durch die Ausrüstung, erhält unser Satin seinen ganz
eigenen, eleganten Glanz, und mit 100g pro m2 ist er weicher und leichter als
die gängigen Satinstoffe. Die Bettwäsche fertigen wir gemäss Ihren Bedürfnissen nach Mass an, mit unserer typisch schweizerischen Leidenschaft für
Qualität und unserer Liebe zum Detail.
