Neuheit 2014: Die intelligente Garderobe von THUT
Wer kennt sie nicht, diese Situation: Es klingelt an der Wohnungstür, die Gäste werden
begrüsst und nun – wohin mit all den Mänteln, Jacken, Schals und Taschen? Schliesslich
ist die Garderobe ja bereits mit den eigenen Kleidern belegt. Dafür gibt es jetzt Abhilfe: Die
neue Garderobe von Benjamin Thut bietet bis zu einem Meter zusätzliche
Hängemöglichkeiten.
Gerade einmal zwei Handgriffe benötigt man, um die neue Garderobe vom Standardmass
(70 cm) um 60 Zentimeter zu verbreitern. Ein leichter Zug links bringt die ersten 30
Zentimeter zusätzlichen Platz. Und ein zweiter leichter Zug auf der rechten Seite bringt
noch einmal 30 Zentimeter mehr Platz für Kleiderbügel. Und wenn dann die Gäste wieder
gegangen sind, werden die Rohre ganz einfach wieder zurückgeführt und man hat wieder
mehr Platz zum Wohnen. Typisch Thut zeigt sich auch die Materialwahl. Für die Ablage
kommt Alucobond zum Tragen, die Doppel-Rohre sind aus Aluminium und die raffinierten
Klemmstützen sind aus Holz. Und so praktisch wie die Garderobe ist, kann sie auch
versandt werden, denn sie lässt sich in einem einzigen flachen Paket verpacken.
3 x 3 x 3 Meter – viel Platz auf wenig Raum
Wie bringt man Schlafen, Wohnen und Arbeiten auf nur gerade einmal 3 x 3 x 3 Meter unter?
In einem schwarz-gelb karierten Kubus führt Thut Möbel den Besucherinnnen und
Besuchern des Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milano (8. – 13. April 2014) genau das vor
Augen. In diesem Kubus fügen sich verschiedene Thut-Klassiker wie der Scheren-Tisch,
das Scheren-Bett, ein Wandmodul sowie eine Faltvorhang-Front mit System-Regal zu einem
harmonischen Ganzen.
Hinter diesem Ausstellungskonzept steht nicht etwa die Absicht, Menschen zum
«verdichteten» Wohnen zu animieren. Mit dem Auftritt will man ganz einfach aufzeigen,
wie intelligent und flexibel Thut Möbel sind. Schlafen, Wohnen und Arbeiten wird dank
ausgeklügelten Scheren-Mechanismen auf kleinstem Raum möglich. Thut Möbel werden
von Klein zu Gross und umgekehrt. So dient das Scheren-Bett zusammengestossen als
Sofa. Zieht man es auseinander, wird es zum komfortablen Bett. Thut’s Scheren-Tisch
wird bei Nichtgebrauch ganz einfach weggerollt und platzsparend zusammengeklappt.
Das Wandmodul wiederum dient als Sekretär und wird zum Arbeiten aufgeklappt,
nachdem man das Rollo hochgerollt hat. Die Faltvorhang-Front benötigt überhaupt keinen
Raum zum Öffnen – sie wird nur verschoben und öffnet so den Zugang zu einem SystemRegal, wo man ihn gerade benötigt. Keine Türen versperren den knappen Raum. Das
System-Regal wird übrigens exakt auf die gewünschte Grösse gebaut und lässt sich
später auch auf neue Mass anpassen.

Der THUT-Folienschrank feiert seinen 20sten!
Vor 20 Jahren hielt eine neue Leichtigkeit des Seins im Wohnen Einzug. Während andere
Hersteller ihre schweren Schränke mit wuchtigen Türen und Spiegeln an ihre Messestände
wuchten mussten, spazierten Kurt und Benjamin Thut mit ihrem Folien-Schrank leichten
Fusses in die Messehallen.
Er wiegt nur gerade 26 Kilogramm, der Folien-Schrank von Thut. Um diese Leichtigkeit zu
erreichen, leistete Kurt Thut allerdings Schwerstarbeit beim Denken. Denn das Ziel war
nicht nur die Minimierung des verwendeten Materials. Der Folien-Schrank sollte dank
attraktivem Preis auch den Exportmarkt für Thut Möbel öffnen. Beide Ziele wurden
erreicht. Mit nachhaltigem Erfolg. Denn der Folien-Schrank entspricht noch heute einem
grossen Bedürfnis und gehört zu den Bestsellern aus der Thut’schen Manufaktur. Zum
20-jährigen Jubiläum gibt es das Segeltuch des Folien-Schranks jetzt in neuen Farben,
die dem aktuellen Wohn-Zeitgeist entsprechen: drei Blautöne (Navyblau, Hellblau und
Mediumblau), Braun und Orange stehen Kunden neu zur Auswahl.
Der universelle Folien-Schrank eignet sich sowohl für den Wohn- wie auch für den
Schlafbereich. Alle Holzteile sind aus Naturbuche gefertigt. Die Kantenschutzprofile
bestehen aus farblos eloxiertem Aluminium und die Bespannung aus einem Segeltuch
(Dacron), das in vielen verschiedenen Farben erhältlich ist. Den Folien-Schrank gibt es in
zwei Höhen und in zwei Tiefen. Mit Tablaren, Kleiderstangen, Garderobe-Auszügen und
Drahtkörben lässt er sich individuell ausstatten.

La nouveauté 2014 : garde-robe intelligente de THUT
Qui ne connaît pas cette situation: on sonne à votre porte, vous saluez vos invités
et ensuite – que faire de tous ces manteaux, vestes, foulards et sacs? Votre garderobe est déjà remplie de vos propres vêtements. Il existe désormais une solution: la
nouvelle garde-robe de Benjamin Thut, qui permet d’accrocher jusqu’à un mètre
supplémentaire.
Deux gestes suffisent pour agrandir de 60 cm la nouvelle garde-robe d’une dimension
standard de 70 cm. Une légère traction à gauche fait apparaître les 30 premiers
centimètres de place supplémentaire. Une deuxième traction légère à droite amène 30
centimètres d’espace en plus pour les cintres. Lorsque les invités sont repartis, vous
rentrez les tubes très aisément et retrouvez l’espace habituel de votre habitat. Le choix du
matériau est également caractéristique de la maison Thut. La surface de rangement est
en Alucobond, les doubles tubes et les équerres de fixation raffinées sont en bois. Cette
garde-robe des plus pratiques peut aussi être expédiée, car elle s’emballe dans un seul
carton plat.
3 x 3 x 3 mètres – beaucoup de place sur peu d’espace
Comment caser un espace couchage, habitat et travail sur seulement 3 x 3 x 3
mètres? Dans un cube noir et jaune à carreaux, Thut Möbel en fait la démonstration
précise aux visiteuses et visiteurs du Salone Internazionale del Mobile de Milan (8 –
13 avril 2014). Ce cube accueille différents éléments classiques de Thut, tels que la
table pliable, le lit réglable, un module mural et une façade en accordéon dotée d’un
rayonnage système, pour former un tout harmonieux.
Ce concept d’exposition n’est pas né de la volonté d’inciter la clientèle à un habitat
«densifié», mais de lui montrer tout simplement l’intelligence et la flexibilité des meubles
Thut. Avec les mécanismes pliables bien pensés, couchage, habitat et travail peuvent être
conciliés sur un espace minimum. Les meubles Thut sont à géométrie variable. Le lit
réglable peut ainsi servir de canapé une fois replié. Et lorsqu’on le déplie, il se transforme
en un lit confortable. Quand elle n’est pas utilisée, la table pliable de Thut se roule et se
replie aisément pour gagner de l’espace. Le module mural fait pour sa part office de
secrétaire qui s’ouvre pour travailler, une fois le store remonté. La façade en accordéon
n’a pas besoin d’espace pour s’ouvrir, elle est seulement déplacée et permet ainsi
d’accéder à un rayonnage système là où on en a besoin. Aucune porte ne vient
encombrer cet espace réduit. Le rayonnage système est par ailleurs construit exactement
à la taille souhaitée et peut s’adapter après coup à de nouvelles dimensions.
Les meubles Thut sont toujours optimisés en termes de fonctionnalité et d’utilisation de
matériaux. Avec leur design réduit, ils dévoilent leur vraie grandeur dans les pièces de
petites et grandes dimensions!

L’armoire en toile à voile THUT fête son 20e anniversaire!
Il y a 20 ans, une nouvelle légèreté de l’être faisait son apparition dans l’habitat.
Tandis que d’autres fabricants devaient soulever sur leurs stands de salon leurs
lourdes armoires équipées de portes et de miroirs imposants, Kurt et Benjamin
Thut se promenaient d’un pied léger dans les halles avec leur armoire en toile à
voile.
Elle ne pèse que 26 kilogrammes, l’armoire en toile à voile de Thut. Pour parvenir à cette
légèreté, Kurt Thut a toutefois sorti l’artillerie lourde de la réflexion. L’objectif ne se
réduisait en effet pas à minimiser le matériel utilisé, cette armoire devait aussi, grâce à
son prix attrayant, ouvrir le marché de l’exportation aux meubles Thut. Ces deux buts
furent atteints, avec un succès qui ne s’est pas démenti jusqu’ici. Aujourd’hui encore,
l’armoire « Folienschrank » répond à un large besoin et fait partie des best-sellers de la
manufacture Thut. Pour son 20e anniversaire, la toile à voile de l’armoire est déclinée
dans de nouveaux coloris, correspondant à l’esprit actuel de l’époque: trois tons de bleu
(bleu marine, bleu claire et bleu moyen), un brun et un orange sont proposés à la
clientèle.
L’armoire en toile à voile universelle convient tant pour la zone de séjour que pour la
chambre à coucher. Toutes les pièces en bois sont exécutées en hêtre naturel. Les
profilés de protection sont en aluminium anodisé incolore et l’entoilage est fabriqué à
partir d’une toile à voile (Dacron), disponible dans de nombreux coloris. L’armoire en toile
à voile existe en deux hauteurs et deux profondeurs. Au moyen d’étagères, de tringles à
vêtements, de tiroirs et de paniers grillagés, elle peut être totalement personnalisée.

Novelty 2014: The intelligent wardrobe by THUT
Everyone must be familiar with this situation: the doorbell rings, the guests are
welcomed but now what is to be done with all these coats, jackets, scarves and
bags? The wardrobe is already full of your own clothing. Problem solved: the new
wardrobe by Benjamin Thut provides up to one metre of additional hanging space.
Just two actions are needed to extend the new wardrobe by a further 60 centimetres from
the standard size (70 cm). Pull lightly on the left and the first 30 centimetres of extra space
become available. Then pull for a second time lightly on the right to gain access to yet
another 30 centimetres of additional space for clothes hangers. And when the guests
have left, just push the tubes back in to gain more living space again. The choice of
materials is also typical of Thut. Alucobond is used for the shelves; the double tubes are in
aluminium while the sophisticated clamps are made of wood. And however convenient the
wardrobe may be, it is also easy to transport in a single flat pack.
3 x 3 x 3 metres – plenty of room in a restricted space
How can sleeping, living and working all be accommodated in a space of just 3 x 3
x 3 metres? In a black and yellow chequered cube, Thut Möbel shows visitors to the
Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan (8 – 13 April 2014) just how this can be
done. A range of Thut classics like the scissors table, the scissors bed, a wall
module and the folding curtain front with system shelving fit together to form a
harmonious whole in this cube.
The intention behind this exhibition concept is not just to persuade people to adopt a
“compressed” style of living. The display is designed to show visitors just how intelligent
and flexible Thut furniture pieces in fact are. Sleeping, living and working in a confined
space are made possible by sophisticated scissors mechanisms. Thut furniture pieces
change their size from small to big and back again. When the scissors bed is closed it
serves as a sofa. Pulled out, it makes a comfortable bed. When the Thut scissors table is
not in use, just roll it away and fold up to save space! The wall module in turn serves as a
desk and is hinged open for use after raising the roller front. The folding curtain front
needs no extra space to open – it can be pushed back to give access to system shelving
exactly where it is needed. There are no doors to obstruct the tight space. What is more
the system shelving is built to the customer’s precise size specification and can be
adjusted later to a new dimension.
The function and materials of Thut furniture are always optimized – with their design
reduced to essentials, they reveal their true size in rooms both large and small!

20th anniversary of the THUT film-sided cupboard!
20 years ago, a new lightness of being arrived in the home. While other makers had
to weigh down their heavy cupboards with massive doors and mirrors on their
trade fair stands, Kurt and Benjamin Thut strolled into the exhibition hall with their
film-sided cupboard.
The Thut “Folienschrank” weighs just 26 kilos. To achieve that lightness, Kurt Thut had to
put a great deal of thought into its design. The aim was not just to minimize the use of
material. The attractively priced film-sided cupboard was also intended to open up the
export market for Thut Möbel. Both these aims were achieved. With lasting success.
Because the film cupboard still meets a great need and is one of the best-sellers from the
Thut factory. To mark the 20th anniversary, the sailcloth of the film-sided cabinet is
available in new colours which reflect contemporary trends in the home: customers now
have a choice of three shades of blue (navy blue, light blue and medium blue), brown and
orange.
The universal film-sided cupboard is suitable for both living room and bedroom. All the
wooden parts are made of natural beech wood. The edge protection profiles are in
colourless anodized aluminium and the outer covering in sailcloth (Dacron) which is
available in a wide range of colours. The film-sided cupboard comes in two heights and
two depths. With shelves, clothes rods, garment pull-outs and wire baskets it can be
equipped to the customer’s own specification.
