Welcome to the 2014 convention!
I appreciate you joining us this week as our
assembly begins this exciting venture of “Breaking
New Ground.” Matthew 7: 24 -27 “…..Everyone
who hears these words of mine and put them into
practice is like a wise man who built his house on
the rock.”
As we continue to build our beloved assembly, we
are dedicated to meeting the needs of our churches
and preparing them for the future. This week is a
significant time in the history of IAFB as we
provide teaching and spiritual encouragement to
the individuals who will answer God’s call to start a
new work within their cities. We hope to equip our
ministers with tools and resources, wisdom and
much prayer as we propel them forward in the
vision of our California district.
I applaud the forward thinking of our Executive
and Presbytery board and many others in our
organization as our assembly has met along time
goal in partnering with a Bible school. It is an
honor and privilege sharing this partnership with
New Hope Bible Institute (NHBI) as we
strengthen California, growing spiritual leaders and
developing our ministries. May all of you who
attend this convention be challenged and spiritually
move to “break new ground” and build up
churches for the kingdom and glory of God! May
the good Lord bless you and keep you.
