Catch the Superstrada FI-PI-LI (also called SGC FI-PI-LI) from the A1 Milan-Roma - exit Firenze
Scandicci. (this is a brand new exit as of March 2006) or from Pisa (from the airport, you will find the
exit road takes you directly to this road). Exit from the FI PI LI at Montopoli Val.d.Arno and follow the
road (SS67), it will go into a round about which you will complete (it will almost bring you back to
where you got on.)
You will follow indications for PALAIA for approximately 7 km (SP 36). On the left you will find a
restaurant called Caminetto, pass it approximately 200 meters and you will turn to the left - a sharp
turn - following indications for AGLIATI.
There is a small portion of the road which is not asphalted (about 500-600 meters) and then another
stretch of road which is asphalted (500-600 meters). The road is filled with curves and all up hill. At the
top of the hill you turn right into the dirt drive way which is about 200 meters long, at the end of this
road you will find a gate and a sign for the farm FATTORIA POGGIO ASCIOLO.
