highlight BALLET IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF DECEMBER In December and surrounded by a Christmas atmosphere of celebration and family spirit, we highlight the different events that will be held throughout the month and which every year recall our traditions in this season. An excellent way of getting into the spirit of Christmas is by attending and watching some of the classics associated to ballet and that bring to mind our childhood. Ballet will be in the limelight at the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias and Madeira Casino Congress Centre Auditorium, with performances by the Carlos Fernandes Dance Company, the Russian Classical Ballet and with the première of the “The Russian Seasons in Madeira”, a project by the company “Paladar à Música”. These three proposals will celebrate some of the most famous ballets such as: Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Flames of Paris, Quebra-Nozes Scheherazade. 2 or exhibitions “USA – Culture and Places” Until December 6 Cycle of Exhibitions on the United States of America Temporary Exhibitions Room - Cultural Centre John Dos Passos Rua do Príncipe D.
