Flávio Antoun Netto - Brazilian Navy Superintendence of Submarine Design - Navy Commander “THE NUCLEAR SUBMARINE PROGRAM AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE TECHNOLOGIES IN BRAZIL” Netto is the Head of Structures Department, Superintendence of Submarine Design, at the Brazilian Navy Technological Center in São Paulo (CTMSP), Brazil. He completed his undergraduate education in Mechanical Engineering (1989) at the Federal Center of Technological Education, and postgraduate studies at the Military Engineering Institute and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, leading to an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (1992) and Ph.D degree in Ocean Engineering (1999), respectively. Plenary Versailles I e II Prof. Dr. Arismar Cerqueira Sodré Junior - National Institute of Telecommunications (INATEL) Professor “THE WORLD IS WIRELESS: R&D PROJECTS ON ANTENNAS AND RADARS” Prof. Dr. Arismar Cerqueira received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia, an M.Sc. degree from UNICAMP, and a Ph.D. from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Italy. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Brazilian National Institute of Telecommunications (INATEL). He currently holds 4 international patents and has transferred 10 products to the industry. He worked at General Motors as a CAE engineer in the areas of Structure, Durability and Vehicle Safety, and is currently the CAE manager responsible for the areas of Aerodynamics, HVAC and Closures. He has degree in Engineering Control and Automation from PUC - Rio, Brazil, and an M.Sc. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from ITA. He joined Embraer in 2005, where he worked for five years on an MDO project in technological development. He later joined the KC-390 project in the area of aerodynamics. He also participated in the project on the new wing tip of the ERJ-175Plus. Rodrigo Tasca - ESSS Account Manager “LEVERAGE PARAMETRIC BENEFITS OF ANSYS PLATFORM” Rodrigo Tasca has degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina with a strong focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics. Tasca has been with ESSS for 15 years, where he started in the Technical Team with Support and Services, and was promoted to Technical Team Manager and later to Account Manager.
