Montage:
Die SIP Sportsitzbank (Classic oder EVO) ist passend für alle Vespa PX / Lusso / T5
Classic bzw. in der Smallframe Version für Smallframes. Mit leichten Modifikationen
auch passend für Vespa Sprint und Rally. Jede Sitzbank wir einzeln in Handarbeit aus
hochwertigem glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff bzw. Carbon laminiert.
Zur Montage die Original Sitzbank, die hinteren Tankbefestigungsschrauben und den
Schließzapfen (Abb. 1) entfernen.
Nach Abb. 2 die kurze Gewindestange in die vorderste Sitzbankbefestigungsmutter
einschrauben, die beiden langen Gewindestangen in die hinteren
Tankbefestigungsmuttern. Nun kann die Sitzbank einfach aufgesteckt werden.
Nötigenfalls kann die Sitzbank wie in Abb. 3 gezeigt durch die beiliegenden
Distanzgummischeiben in der Höhe positioniert werden. Durch das Aufschieben von
Gummischeiben auf die vordere Gewindestange wird ein Abkippen der Sitzbank
nach hinten verhindert. Durch das Aufschieben von Gummischieben auf die hinteren
Gewindestangen wird ein Abkippen nach vorne verhindert. In diese Justierung etwas
Zeit und Mühe zu investieren wird mit einem tadellosen und wackelfreien Sitz belohnt.
Mounting instructions:
The SIP sport seat (Classic or EVO) fits all Vespa PX / EFL / T5 Classic models as well as
all Smallframes in the respective version. With slight modifications, the seat can also be
used for the Vespa Sprint and Rally. Each seat is laminated individually by hand from
high-quality glass-fibre reinforced plastic or carbon.
To mount the SIP seat, remove the original seat, the rear tank mounting screws and the
locking peg (see Illustration 1).
See Illustration 2 for instructions to screw the short thread rod into the foremost seat
mounting nut as well as both long thread rods into the rear tank mounting nuts. Now
the seat can easily be slipped on. If necessary, adjust the height of the seat by using the
included adjustment rubbers as pictured in Illustration 3. By sliding the adjustment rubbers on the front thread rod, a tilting of the seat at the back can be avoided. In reverse
logic, sliding the adjustment rubbers on the rear thread rods will prevent the seat from
tilting at the front. It is worth taking your time making these adjustments as this will
result in a perfectly tight seat position.
