sharply defined, hot-dip galvanized angle steel L 70 | W 70 | H 8 mm, legs with
height adjustment feature; underconstruction consisting of 3 hot-dip galvanized
rectangular tubes, 3 mm wall thickness, with horizontal and vertical adjusting
screws for aligning and securing the seat; untreated seat consisting of 2 slabs of
solid limestone L 54 | W 61 | H 6.7 cm, quarried in Kirchheim, Germany, with
smooth matt surface, underside with U-shaped milled recess, reinforced with
steel profiles; all fittings made of stainless steel

Description

Bench for widespread use without a table in semi-private or public spaces. The
seat, consisting of 2 slabs of limestone, 70 mm thick, quarried in Kirchheim,
Germany, is held by a frame of hot-dip galvanized angle steel, 70 mm wide. As
the underconstruction is concealed below the seat, the stone slabs appear to be
unsupported. The simple form means the bench can be used from either side and
makes it suitable for creating distinctive accents in the landscape. The base
plates of the legs are prepared for anchoring to the ground. However, the sheer
weight of the bench often makes this unnecessary. For use in public spaces the
underconstruction is glued to the stone slabs.
