AirportClinic M – Europe’s first Airport Clinic
Munich – 2015. All airports have medical stations for emergencies, but Munich is the first airport with a full-service medical clinic and a comprehensive
service concept for international patients.
The AirportClinic M opened in November 2003 and is the realization of an innovative “full service concept” for patients from Germany and abroad. The clinic is part
of the MediCare Munich Airport Medical Center GmbH, with services for passengers, visitors and employees of the airport. It is also the holder of AirportClinic M.
Shareholders of the company are the Flughafen München Gesellschaft mbH
(51%) and a network of physicians (49%).

AirportClinic M, handles outpatient and inpatient treatments. The two surgery
rooms and eight clinic beds meet state-of-the-art medical and technical standards, and the international flair of Munich Airport is omnipresent.
The idea is to provide fast and high-quality medical treatments directly at an international transportation hub. AirportClinic M has signed co-operations with
numerous medical specialists for treatments and surgical interventions at the
airport. AirportClinic M features the latest diagnostic and therapeutic methods in
three main medical fields: orthopedic surgery, gynecology and urology.
