FOR FILIPINOS WHO WERE DIVORCED BY THEIR FOREIGN SPOUSE STEPS IN HOW FOREIGN JUDGMENTS/ORDERS BE CONFIRMED/ENFORCED BY THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURTS IN THE PHILIPPINES YOU: 1. Get an authenticated (beglaubigt) copy of your divorce decree 2. Have the divorce decree translated into English by a registered translator 3. Bring the translation+German text to the Landesgericht and have them authenticated (uberbeglaubigt) 4. Bring the ubergeglaubigt translation+German text to the Embassy for authentication 5. Execute a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) at the Embassy, authorizing a relative in the Philippines to: a. Have the divorce decree judicially confirmed in a Philippine Court, b. Register the RTC confirmation/decision with NSO, and c. Get from NSO a copy of your Report of Marriage bearing the annotation of divorce 6. Send the documents to your relative in the Philippines RELATIVE OR APPOINTED REPRESENTATIVE IN THE PHILIPPINES: 7. Bring the (1) authenticated translation+German text and (2) the SPA to a Regional Trial Court in the Philippines fur juridical confirmation 8. The RTC will issue a confirmation/decision 9. Bring the RTC confirmation/decision to NSO for registration 10. Request NSO for a copy of the ANNOTATED REPORT OF MARRIAGE 11. Go to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and have the Annotated Report of Marriage authenticated 12. Send the authenticated annotated Report of Marriage to the relative in Germany WHAT TO DO WITH THE ANNOTATED REPORT OF MARRIAGE RECEIVED FROM PHILIPPINES: 13. Bring the authenticated Annotated Report of Marriage to the Embassy in Berlin OR Consulate General in Frankfurt
