Niagara Falls

Oktoberfest!!!
Experience German-Canadian culture at the Oktoberfest in downtown Kitchener! Sample
German foods like sausage or schnitzel, drink a beer, and dance a polka at this popular fall
festival.
Ontario Science Centre
Full day trip includes transportation and teacher. Learn about science and technology at this
interactive centre. Watch the movie on a huge surround screen (optional, extra cost).

CN Tower

Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto
Day trip includes transportation and teacher. The ROM features many different kinds of
exhibits including nature, animals, dinosaurs, Canadian Native People, Ancient Greek and
Roman, Ancient Egypt, Korean Art, Ancient China, Medieval Europe, etc. Bring lunch money..

Toronto Zoo
Full day trip includes transportation and teacher. See over 5000 animals in one of the largest
zoos in the world! There are 10 km of walking trails in the 287-hectare park. Bring
comfortable shoes, camera, packed lunch (fast food also available).
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
½ day trip. See the aircraft used by Canada's Military from the beginning of World War II up
to the present. The Museum has interactive video displays, movies, photographs and
memorabilia from Canadian History. You can even sit in some airplanes and take your picture!
Farmer’s Market and Mennonite Country
Day trip includes a visit to the Farmer’s Market in St. Jacob’s (a village about 90 km from
here). See the Mennonites in their traditional clothes and horses and buggies. Walk around
the village and learn about their culture and way of life.
Casa Loma
Day trip includes transportation and teacher. Step back in time to a period of European
elegance. The castle has decorated suites, secret passages, a tunnel, towers, stables, and
beautiful gardens (open May through October). A self-guided audio tour in 8 languages (English,
French, Japanese, German, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin and Korean) is available.

Niagara’s White Water Walk and Butterfly Conservatory
Day trip includes transportation and teacher. The White Water Walk is like no other, along a
boardwalk at the very edge of one of the world's wildest stretches of whitewater! Marvel at the
relentless power and beauty of nature and see how the deep and narrow Great Gorge was
created. Trillions of gallons of water are forced into this accelerating trough - the sight will take
your breath away! Plus, see over 2,000 colourful tropical butterflies floating freely among lush,
exotic blossoms and greenery. Paths wind through the rainforest setting, past a pond and
waterfall and the Emergence window, where butterflies leave their pupae and prepare to take
their first flight!
Hilton Falls Nature Park
½ day trip includes transportation and teacher. Explore the enchanted forest in this nature
park along the Niagara Escarpment. In the centre of the forest you will delight in a beautiful
10-metre waterfall and the ruins of a 19th century mill. Bring comfortable walking shoes,
water, and your camera!
Marineland and Niagara Falls (available until Oct.10!)
Day trip includes transportation and teacher. See the Falls and see performing dolphins,
walruses and sea lions as well as bears, deer, and fish. Marvel at killer whales as they splash
and they jump to incredible heights in an amazing show. Enjoy exciting amusement park rides
in this unique theme park! Minimum FIVE students for this excursion!
Mountsberg Raptor and Nature Park
½ day trip includes transportation and teacher. Watch birds of prey fly and catch their food!
Also, see buffalo, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats, and other animals in a large
nature park. Play in the barn and enjoy a walk along the trails with Canada’s nature all around!
African Lion Safari (until Oct.11)
Full day trip includes transportation and teacher. See wild animals from all over the world
walk in front of you! Enjoy the elephant show, bird talking show, flying demonstration, petting
zoo, and boat ride. Bring your camera! Minimum FIVE students for this excursion!
Canada’s Wonderland Halloween Haunt! (Friday evenings)
Evening trip includes transportation and school representative. Enjoy thrilling rides in
Ontario’s biggest amusement park! Special shows, mazes, and rides make this a night to
remember! Price includes buffet dinner. Minimum SIX students for this excursion!
Dundurn Castle
½ day trip. Experience life in Canada in the mid-19th century at this historic house. Staff in
19th century clothing guide you through the mansion Also includes admission to the Military
